Domestic Transfer
Domestic flight is required in order to reach the resort. The resort will arrange your flight at roundtrip cost. The cost of the transfer is an automatic surcharge, which will be added to the booking grand total. Additionally, bed tax and domestic flight charges of infant are to be paid directly to the resort and costs US$60 per child and US$ 8 bed tax per night. Please take note that, domestic flight takes 1 hour to Kaadedhdhoo Domestic Airport and from there the resort arranges a Luxury Yacht transfer which takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to the resort.

We stayed here for 5 days, and we really enjoyed. As soon as you arrive in Male, the staff take care of you. It take a while before you reach the resort, but it is absolutely worth it!!! You have your own personal assistant who takes care of you on the island. By the way, all the staff is very well trained and very friendly. If you want to they will leave you alone or keep you company and have nice stories about the (history) of Maldives. We had the Aquavilla, and it was beautiful. Although it looked like the beach villa's were also perfect. For the advantage of the Aquavilla is that you can jump in the sea and then you are immediately above the house reef. This reef is one of the most healthy ones I have ever seen. You only need to swim 25 meters, and then you already have the sharks, eagle rays, dolphins!! and more. There are 2 restaurants, and both serves high quality food. We like the Maldivian style restaurant most, because of all the different spices and flavors. They have a wide choice of wines from all over the world. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. Watch out of the pastries, they were too good -) I would absolutely recommend Alila to everybody. Although it is a new resort, you will not notice it, except from the clean and well maintained property. When we were here, there was no construction work or anything.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We went diving with the diving school also on the island. We made some beautiful dives and again the staff take care of you, also when you are aboard. Nice sandwiches, cookies, fresh coffee, fruit, etc.
