Transfer Charges
The resort offers round trip speedboat transfers at USD 110 for adults, USD 55 for children (2-11 years), and complimentary for infants. ImportantMandatory bed tax of US$8 per person per night will be levied by the resort for all their guests. Additionally, a speed boat transfer is required in order to reach the resort. Please advise your flight details at least one week prior to arrival at cs@agoda.com. Failure to do so may mean the resort is unable to arrange your transfer from the airport, for which Agoda cannot be held responsible.
The cost of the transfers and bed tax are automatic surcharge, which will be added to the booking grand total. Please note that this is the resort's requirement.

- Lack of coral reefs around island for snorkeling This is a very nice resort for couples. It is only about 30 minutes speed boat ride from Male International airport which is a plus. Excellent for couples and honeymooners. Good place to rest and relax.

2)Not for shoppers! Only one shop on whole island. Capital city on another island so if u wanna go shopping, excursions to the city occur only ONCE a week. From the airport the hotel's rep greeted us [wearing traditional "man-skirts"] n accompanied us on the boat ride to the hotel where we were greeted with drinks right at the dock. They check u in personally into your room. Our room was upgraded from the Beach Bungalow to the Beach Villa which was excellent! Great honeymoon gift!
Our villa had an outdoor shower and patio opening right out to the beach. Great experience waking up to the sounds of the sea n see lil birds walking past. Unfortunately when we were there it was monsoon season so many activities [eg dolphin excursion n sunset cruise]kept getting cancelled due to the rain/wind. However anywhere around the island u can jus jump in the water n snorkel [or canoe..jetski etc]. Takes only 20mins to walk all around d whole island! Be careful of stingrays tho...we even saw a baby shark once. beautiful fishes arnd d corals!
The hotel was quite new [opened April 09] so its clean. Although the design concept is very rustic island paradise-ish,Its also very modern considering its running on solar power n using hi-tech ammenities [outdoor speakers at the beach are Bose!] Even the staff are trendy, although are wearing flip-flops, their slippers are CROCS!
First time experience for maldivian bliss...private,peaceful,beautiful.
Shopping Tip : When u do go to the city, try n ask to pay in Maldivian currency cos if u ask for the price in USD, prepare to be ripped off. we actually purchased a magnet for USD12!! ridiculous
