Royal Princess Hotel Chiang Mai Info
This popular city center hotel offers a convenient base right next to the famous night bazaar and several other markets. The Royal Princess Hotel, now managed by the five-star Dusit Hotels Group, has long been a favorite with visitors to Chiang Mai because of its proximity to the night bazaar as well as other local markets, all within walking distance. Numerous shops, restaurants, convenience stores and internet cafes line the street outside of the hotel. Its location close to the Old Town also makes exploring the city’s historical sites and many temples very convenient. Even though the hotel is located within the night bazaar, it is pleasantly quiet and peaceful inside. Royal Princess Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in the downtown area.

after we made an upgrade ,we received top service
originally we booked a non smoking room ,but were given a smoking room.Upon complaining we were told ,that the non smoking room was with shower only! We were offered an up grade for an extra per daywith some additional service
Overall very nice hotel in a good location .Friendly staff and a great service in the top room they offer.Would stay there again.Breakfast room is very nice, but a bit too small to handle all the guest when fully booked

rooms are immaculate, helpful staff, friendly atmosphere, tasty breakfast.
air con was either too hot or too cold.
when we arrived we asked for a high floor room and upgraded our stay which included breakfast, free high speed internet, free laundry, daily fresh fruit and newspaper, free transfer to the airport and one free drink a night at the bar. this was well worth the money as it only worked out an a little bit extra a night for this extra service! staff were extremely helpful and informative. a great selection of food to choose from for breakfast. only bad thing to say is that the room got cold very quickly from the air con. Location is perfect, right in the centre of town with all the night markets and restaurants.
Shopping Tip : use a taxi from the airport to the hotel as its only THB 150 for the taxi, whereas the hotel transfer charge THB 200 per person. china town is only a 10 minute walk away and shopping is so much cheaper there than the markets near the hotel.

Best location in Night Bazaar area.
Swiming pool is secluded area to relex.
Front of hotel is not very impressive.
Old type room keys with no duplicates available.
Expensive Internet access.
Stayed at Royal Princess Chiang Mai many times and never disappointed as the service is always excellent. Ideal location on the main road through the Night Bazaar. Limited car parking available for about 20 cars but carpark gets full late afternoon. During festivals such as Loy Krathong the hotel frontage is extended to include food, drinks and seating to watch the parade pass-by. Check on-line prices as they may not include Breakfast. Expensive Internet access available in hotel Lobby but much cheaper services across the road.
Nightlife Tip : Night Bazaar area extends 200mt both sides of the hotel. These include shopping, resturants and bars.
