This is a truly all-in-one vacation providing a beachfront hotel, and a shopping mall with brand name shops. On the northern part of the Chaweng beach, this hotel has a good beach and yet is close to restaurants and nightlife. The shopping mall has Nautica, Nike, Pierre Cardin and many more.The Iyara Beach offers a wide choice of accommodations. We particularly like the cabanas that face the beach and are surrounded by tropical gardens. All the rooms are well equipped and restful. Good location, good food, nice pool & beach.
Some of the receptionists don't speak very good English.
The hotel is relativly expensive.
The rooms are very nice. There is a nice small pool in the hotel. The beach next to the hotel is also very nice. The food served in the hotel restaurant is good and not expensive. The price per night, however, is quite high. If you can afford it, I would recommend this hotel for honey moons and romantic vacations.
Restaurant Tip : The hotel restaurant is good and not expensive.

staff were accomodating. The room we toke, the cozy detached rooms are perfect.
there were mosquitos within the area. When we arrived, since cars cant arrive until the front of the hotel, rain was pouring so hard that we have to walk all the way until reception. Nobody met us from the entrance street going to the hotel.
The staff are okay. The first room that they gave us was not that quite good with the water supply from the bathroom so we complained at the reception and they were so accomodating that they changed our room right away after they found out that water supply was not sufficient. They sprayed on the mosquitos around during our stay there. They also have the pool. The massage room/ spa of the hotel is very clean and nice but they lack people inside. We went there and cannot do massage together at one time coz they only have one worker and if somebody is there already you cant be accomodated.
Nightlife Tip : just walk around. its a very small place. dont use taxi for either your destination is far or near, they charged you same amount. From the hotel, nightlife is just around the corner..

Good location slightly away from the busy part of the beach, and the food in the restaurant was excellent (even if they did give my vegetarian girlfriend chicken by mistake)
Rooms were just a bit tired and lacking in character. Seemed a bit dated and could have done with a bit of an upgrade.
We enjoyed our stay at the Iyara but it just missed that special something that would make it exceptional. The food was great and the cervice excellent but the room did let it down a bit. We rented a bungalow which was nice but all in all I'd have to say it has the potential to be amazing and the bungalows just need a bit of an upgrade.
