Felt a lot like home”

The deluxe room was very clean and cozy (probably mainly because of the lightsource). The shower and toilet area is also well-maintained complete with shampoo and liquid body soap dispensers. There is a television (slim screen) but unfortunately they had a problem with their cable provider. And also, there was no refrigerator so you can't keep drinks (yogurts and water) cool for a very long time and that is sad especially for people like me who easily thirsts for cold water in the middle of my sleep. The hostel is near Phra Athit pier (N13), a 15-20 minute walk. It is also near Khao San road and to a number of streetfood stalls so food is never really a problem. And during our stay (May 28-June 1, yeah we're leaving tomorrow already too bad) they were having a promotion with their 'light buffet breakfast which is for 80 Baht' so we had our breakfasts for free. I like the round/flower-shaped biscuits which had a thick sweet tamarind filling! I think i ate a lot of those hahaha Overall, 3 Howw Hostel is a really good place to stay in a foreign land when you still want to feel like you're just home.

Friendly Staff , Great Location & Good Price !!”

My stay at Three Howw Hostel was pretty good. The staff is very friendly specially Kristy and Mindy. The major tourist attractions are not far from the hostel. Khao San Road is just 5 mins walking distance from the hostel. If I visit Bangkok again, I would be staying at Three Howw Hostel. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Great, chilled base for exploring in and around BK”

This was my 3rd visit to Bangkok in as many months, and the 4th hostel I was staying in. Having experienced the madness (and noice of Khao San Road, I wanted to still be within touching distance of the Grand Palace - as I had still to have been - but also away from the noise. Three Howw turned out to be the perfect location for this - only a 5 minute walk to Khao San; 15 to the Palace, but still set in a cosy little street where it was always possible to get some shut eye. Whilst not brimming with a party/super-social atmosphere like other hostels on the SE Asia loop, it provided what it advertised: a clean hostel, comfortable beds, excellent air con and a relaxed atmosphere. And it was still a good place to meet plenty of other travellers from a much more diverse background to the usual British/Aussie/Canadian crowd of others - which was very nice indeed.

Clean, helpful staff, good location”

We arrived BKK at night and got a quick check in. 300 bath deposit for electric key, its fine for me :). Clean room and clean share bathroom. Free breakfast with toast, variet jam, butter, cereals, cafe, tea, milk, banana. They had ordered breakfast separate if you want, example omlette for 30 bath :). You can walk to Khaosan just 3 minutes. A little bit hard for taxi cause hostel locate in a small alley, but tãi still can bring you to hostel door, just keep the hotel phone number in case the taxi driver need to call hostel for way direction. Free shower for check-out guest before 6pm because the electric door will close after 6 pm and you need the key :). Staffs are very helpful, good english and quick answer for any of your request. In the leaving day, i asked one staff to call ataxi and he booked for me. He answered phone to show the direction to taxi driver, but finally the taxi cancelled the booking even got near the hotel. Did apologized us even not his fault, showed the walk way (1 min) to main street that taxi are ready alot there and write the destinate place in Thai for us. Great service and i will surely back here :)

Good place for bacpackers to stay, the staff are very friendly they keep the place very clean, the room is great, even the dorm. Id definitely stay in this place again when im in bangkok. 2 thumbs up for three howw hostel (y)

Nice place and confutable experience ”

Great location, nearly Khaosan road, but not near too much(few minutes walk can get there), so if you are the kind of people who is not easy to sleep, this hostel is good choice. Clean room, good Stuff and roommate, everything all good. If my English is not awful, I will get more great experiences. hahahaha, I will chose this place when next time I go Bangkok, when the next time I came to Khaosan road.

Very nice staff”

This hostel is located on 10 minutes walking from the main party area in Bangkok, Khaosan road, which is perfect! You're not bothered with loud music but you can walk to the pubs if you're looking for a good time. In addition you can easily walk to Phra Arthit pier on which you can take the public boot towards the train station (for only 15 baht) Hua Lamphong, from which you can take the train or metro for day trips. Also the staff is very friendly, the hostel is very clean and you'll meet a lot of other people. Great place to stay!

Worth and I would like to stay again in the future”

It can be said that 3howw hostel was the best hostel I stay in bangkok. The design of the hostel was simple and great. It located near Khaosan Road and Grand Palace but it provided a peaceful and quite surrounding a way from the nightlife chaos. The staffs are friendly. The breakfast was simple but nice. I like the facilities provided by 3howw, especially the "movie cinema" at living area, the best memory place for my friends and I. It was a very great hostel!!!

good place and good location”

It is a great hostel to stay in. Very good location, close to Khaosan road but in the quieter area. Our room was very comfortable and with air conditioning which is very important in Bangkok! The only cons I can see was no lift in the hostel (we had the 4th floor) and there was no house keeping during our stay (4 nights) - it was quite uncomfortable to ask for changing the towels and toilet paper.

the hostel is locate on samsen soi 4, where quite area but just 5-10 minutes to khaosan rd.. the hostel staff is very nice, they take care all of traveler.the room is very clean, comfortable bed, private locker.if you want to watching or reading it have on 2nd floor. share bathroom is have shampoo, shower gel, and especially "hair dryer" i like it!!!. so that all thing with reasonable price

The hostel is 10 min to walk to the main street of Bangkok (Khaosan Rd.). It was nice to stay there, the people are friendly and super frank (guests and staff). Facility of the reception and the ,living room‘ is really nice and cosy to spend some hours there (if you need to wait of a pick up bus).

I really liked this hostel. This is why I stayed two times there. You can check in 24/7. The staff is very helpful doesnt matter what question you have they always try to figure something out. Their english is also good. Breakfast is included and is the standard you can expect from a hostel(toast, jam, coffee, juice, cereals). The atmosphere is really nice. A lot of nice backpackers chilling in the common room or at the tables downstairs. The beds are big but the matrasses could be a little bit thicker, but still everything very comfy. Bathrooms are clean and showers also provide shampoo and bodywash. Also tge location is nice. Some street restaurants around and a 7/11 nearby. Walking distance to khaosan road but you dont hear anything of the noises from there. I can really reccommend this hostel. And as i already stayed twice there i think this fact speaks for itself.

Its not hard to find this comfortable hostel, only take two bus from DMK to Samsen Road and tell the bus driver to stop at Samsen 4. You can easily spot this unique designed hostel when you already in the alley. The staffs were friendly, the room was comfortable, the living room was cozy and the most important thing is this hostel was very clean. Toilets and bathroom was separated. The internet connection was fast. You can take 5 minute walk to Khaosan Rd or 10 minute walk to Grand Palace, its close to that area. For a budget traveler, this hostel is a great deal of money. I would recommend this to any budget traveler visiting Bangkok.

this hostel is well located at the edge of the busy khaosan area. a 2 min walk brings you to the first bars and restaurants and another 8 min to the famous khaosan road. the staff is very nice and try to help you if you have a question or problem.

Stayed 6 Nights”

It's nice being a 10 minute walk away from Khao San Road, far enough to avoid the noise but close enough to stagger back after some drinks. The guys who work there are super helpful with finding things to do and best ways to get around. The girls who work there aren't really people persons, but they're alright. Breakfast was nice, nothing special: juice, white and wheat toast (strawberry jelly, orange marmalade, chocolate spread, and butter), coffee and tea, frosted flakes, chocolate flakes (think cocoa puffs), and milk. It wasn't a 5 star breakfast but it was nice to have food in the lobby from 7-10 when you wake up and want something small before heading out. Another nice thing, they have a washer and dryer you can use, 20 baht to wash (10 extra if you need soap from the front counter) and 30 baht to dry. Dryer was alright, clothes were still damp but I just hung them up and they were fine by the morning. I probably wouldn't stay there again, not becuase of the service or the hostel, I'd just like to see a different part of the city. Being by KSR for almost a week is enough tourist action to last a few years. I most definitely recommend this hostel to anyone going to Bangkok on a budget looking for somewhere comfortable in a fun part of town. Grand Palace and Wat Pho are a short ~25 minute walk away!

Nice staff and good location”

We are a jung couple from Hungary. The hostel is really good located. The Khaosan Road is only 15 minutes by walking. The staff is super friendly, they allowed us two times to leave our luggages there just for 20 Baht/day. We met lot of students there and organized programs together, so this could be good for single travelers.

Big recommendation ”

We stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay a lot. Our double room was spotlessly clean and the AC was nice. The staff is adorable and cared very well for us. The communal space is cosy and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is western, for dinner you can find a wide variety of western and local restaurants nearby. Our flight left the night after our check-out at 2 a.m. and it was no problem at all to stay at the hotel until our airport taxi picked us up, we even could use the bathroom until 6 p.m. It's a perfect hostel, there's nothing we've missed.

Quiet, Comfort, Clean”

It's very nice to stay at #Howw, it's not so close to Khaosan but it's good because you can sleep comfortably, far away from noise. It's receptionist also open for 24 hours. Make sure you bring extra money for deposit. Everything is clean.

Clean hostel, good staff, quiet”

I stayed here 2 nights (Aug 3 to Aug 5). It was good, I think. The staff was quite helpful; the dorms and bathrooms were clean. It took 10 minutes to walk to Khaosan, which didn't bother me at all. Very quiet, that's what I really liked. Also, there was a vegetarian food shop at the opposite, which was a real plus for vegetarians like me. The only inconvenient thing is that there was no public transport. Taxi and tuktuk drivers were arrogant, so it cost quite a lot whenever I wanted to go downtown. If you want a clean hostel, quiet atmosphere to take a nap AND wild nightlife at the same time,this is a great choice.

Very nice economy short stay ”

I stayed at 3Howw for 4 nights, whilst solo exploring the old city area of Bangkok. I booked a private room (shared bathroom). The hostel is in a very nice location, it's a quiet and chilled area, but only 10 minutes walk from main tourist hot-spots around the Khao San area. The staff are friendly and always very helpful. The entire hostel was very clean and hygienic. My room was on the 4th floor. I found it a long way to descend to the 2nd floor whenever I needed to use the toilet. To use the male showers, I had to climb down to the ground floor every time. It was a bit tiring on the legs, especially as I'm out walking constantly all day (and 44 years old). Next time, I'd request a room on the 1st or 2nd floor ideally. Breakfast was included, between 7 and 10am; toast with jams and fried rice, with teas and a pot of fresh coffee. I'd kinda like the coffee on all day - as it'd be nice to enjoy a coffee when I got back in the evenings..but I didn't ask if this was possible or not.
