Super near MRT and very clean hostel”

Adamson Lodge is a great choice for my first time in Singapore. Everything is exactly the same in the picture. The hostel is just few steps from the Rochor station and so so easy to go around. It is also close to the bus station on Serangoon Road if anyone wants to take bus 857 to Yishun station and get to Malaysia. The room is super clean and AC is freaking cold! So it is recommended to bring your blanket if you cannot stand the 24/7 AC. I will definitely come back to Adamson Lodge to stay! It really saves money on the stay so that I can spend more on eating amazing food in Singapore. Don't forget to take the advice of the staff to go the Swee choon Tim sum Restaurant at 191 Jalan Besar Rd! It is indeed the best and affordable dim sum in Singapore ;) Thank you Adamson Lodge for a great stay! Btw, bring small umbrella as it might be raining in the afternoon;)

Clean rooms and very helpful staff”

After spending far too long looking for even a moderately nice hostel at a reasonable price in Singapore, I stumbled upon Adamson Lodge. My girlfriend and I could not have been happier to find such nice accommodations with outstanding staff! During our 3 night stay we were routinely provided with helpful information on what to do, where to eat and the easiest way to got to and from places. The staff seemed genuinely excited to share their knowledge with us and we felt they truly wanted us to experience their favorite parts of Singapore. The facilities are clean and everything appears very nice and new. Bathrooms were clean and showers were very nice! The provided lockers were secure and convenient. Overall could not have been happier with our stay here and would strongly recommend Adamson Lodge to anyone seeking a hostel in Singapore.

Good hostel”

I spent 4 days at this hostel. The first impression is the grasslemon oil smell when we came. It made me pleasant. Air conditioner is on whole day. Room is big enough for amount of bed. It's a hostel so you can't aquire more. I chose this hostel because everybody's feedback is all about the toilet. There are 3 toilets in the 16-bed room. They're always clean and pretty. That's a plus mark for Adamson Lodge. No breakfast included. It's ok for me because we can go out to enjoy breaksfast like Singaporean. 100m from the hostel, there are 2 small Indian restaurant where you can try Roti Prata and Briyiani. Going straight ahead is Little India, how favourable it is! Rochor MRT station and a mobile card shop is opposite to the hostel. One more plus mark. I will come back here whenever going to Singapore. Unexpectedly excellent”

After searching dozens of hostels with bad or even scary reviews I came across Adamson lodge and thought its worth a try. Its definitely not the cheapest around and towels are not provided (although they are sold on the premises for 6$). But its run by awesome and helpful staff, its spotlessly clean,reasonably quiet (keep in mind you are in a very busy neighborhood), conveniently located on the edge of Little India oposite Rochor MRT and 100m from Jalan Besar MRT, and good internet. The large dorm i stayed in had 2 ensuite toilet/showers and 2 large a/c units blasting away. Recommended!

Budget bed in pricey Singapore”

Adamson Lodge is a brand new backpacker lodge, so new that I was the first guest ! It is in a great location, just meters from the new Rochor MRT station. ( the agoda map, as at Jan 2016, does not show this station but it is literally meters from the front door). There are many restaurants around, mainly Indian as it is in Little India, but others as well. Easy access to downtown, Chinatown, airport via MRT. The bed was comfortable, wifi was good, helpful staff, secure lockers ....everything I need in a backpacker place. The only bad thing I found was a lack of hooks or shelving in the bathroom for your clothes, they had to go on the floor. I suggested to the staff that they put in some hooks, whether that got passed on and will be fixed remains to be seen.

Highly recommended budget accommodation ”

The staff really go above and beyond to make your stay great. Walking distance to many malls, food centres and Little India, as well as being right opposite the Subway station, puts Adamson Lodge in a very convenient location. Free coffee all day and excellent WiFi. The only downside I would say is that the beds don’t have curtains and the emergency exit sign is very bright at night.

Nice location,friendly and considerate staff,value for money”

Stayed here for 2 nights.actually i arrived late but thank goodness the staff were still there maybe waiting for me,lol.one staff even used the google map to help me find a place to eat for i was very hungry and didn't know the place yet..the lodge is clean but rooms can be very cold at night..they gave me extra blanket though for free..the place is quiet and it's only a few steps away from Rochor Station,very convenient..on my last day,after checking out,they allowed me to leave my bags and even allowed me to stay for few hours in the receiving room since my flight was still at midnight..I enjoyed my stay in SG partly because of Adamson Lodge!

booking an accommodation is very expensive. i was able to check our adamson lodge. the lodge is very accessible by mrt thru rochor station just a few steps away. we took the dorm type. 2 bunk beds with 2 separate lockers. no need to bring your own locks since the locker has a built in lock. 16 bed dorm type has 2 bathrooms, clean and with hot shower. wifi has a fast connection. cctv is all around the place so its safe. staffs are very friendly. coffee is free...we really had great time staying in this lodge.

Hidden Gem in Singapoe”

I visited Singapore with my family of 8. Adamson Lodge offered an excellent service, cold air conditioner, hot water, very clean and friendly staff. I'm sold for those first part, but to know that it's located just across Rochor MRT sent me to the moon. My parents were so happy they don't have to walk even more after a tiring day. It's perfect. I would come back again to this place for sure!

Great value - Would recommend”

Being on a tight budget, I didn't want to break the bank with accommodation. I've read online multiple horror stories about having bed bugs in cheaper hostels. Then I found this hostel on Agoda, good reviews and cheap price. I would definitely recommend this hostel to EVERY budget travelers ! Pros - NO BEDBUGS!!! hurray! - 30 seconds from MRT - Perfectly located in little India - Really clean - AC & Fan in room - Receptionist super nice - Comfy beds and pillows - Very cheap price (On Agoda) Cons - No curtains for bunk beds - No alcohol in the hostel - No common area to just lay back Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hostel. Cheap price (for Singapore) and very clean (soooo important).

Best location”

The location was really good. Right in front is the Rochor MRT station. The place was clean and they even upgraded our room to 12beds so we had a bigger space with 2 toilet and bath inside. Although they dont provide toiletries except for the tissue in the toilet and they dont clean the room daily, it was a good value for money because it was just comfortable. They offer free tea and coffee downstairs at the reception. We had fun staying at Adamson Lodge.

Stayed on 3-5 March”

My friend and I were staying at Adamson Lodge on 3-5 Mar, 2017 - staffs were super friendly and helpful - clean dorm and bathroom - perfect location, just right next to Rochor station exit B, very easy to find - easy to access to places - budget , effordable hostel , not pricy at all * suggestion to visitors : if you tend to feel cold easily, please make sure you have thick cloths + socks to wear at night. The blanket is not really thick. RECOMMENDED and we will definitely stay here next time!

Excellent”

Value for money at its best. Clean bathrooms w/ hot shower. Even though the bed is small and the room is a bit crowded twas still comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Well definitely stay here again if I’ll come back in Singapore in the future. Thanks Adamson Lodge for the birthday surprise and the cute Hello Kitty cake! Well surely recommend this place. 🙂🙂

I am happy with Adamson Lodge”

I have two Request: 1. A reading light need to be fixed with lower bunk to read/ write while room lights are switched off. 2. A curtain also required for lower bank so that the traveler/ guest can sleep while the room lights are on for other's convenient. The curtain is also a part of privacy of the guest. Otherwise, I am so happy with Adamson Lodge with their location, services and cleanliness.

Great location, clean place!”

We booked the family room (good for 6 people, although we were a party of 5), for our 2-day stay in Singapore. Looking at all the options online for accommodations in Singapore, I realized that hotels and even backpackers' inns in Singapore are more expensive than in other places. We chose Adamson because of the private bath/restroom attached to the bedroom. The staff were very nice and helpful. The MRT station is conveniently very near (less than 100 meters away). Bugis is just one stop or a short walk away. Downside: It is expensive (but everything is expensive is in SIngapore). No toiletries OR towels included.

First time to try a hostel”

We had an amazing stay at Adamson Lodge. The staff were polite and accommodating. It was our first time to try a hostel and Adamson Lodge did not disappoint. The place was clean and convenient as it was just across the Rochor MRT station. We will definitely come back!

Great holiday, great place to stay”

Adamson lodge is a great place to stay. It's clean, cozy, and only about 20 meters away from MRT. Bed is soft. The air con is very cold, so if you can't stand cold, it's better to bring along your jacket with you. Overall, you won't regret staying at Adamson Lodge.

The Lodge is well maintained. Excellent location. It is also very near on Mrt and bus station, you can easily go back to the lodge first to recharge then out again to continue our tour. All of their receptionists were very accomodating and approachable. They even prepared token for Hari Raya and gave it to their guests. . If i'll come back to SG again, Adamson is on my top list.

Convenient location and comfortable environment ”

Booked the 16 bed shared room. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortabable yet the location is super near to public transport Rochor station. However, those who is light sleepers would need to prepare the ear buds while sleeping due to the noise from the pub or other entertainment centre in Little India. Not forget to mention bring your extra jacket or ask for extra blanket if you're scared of cold! Overall, it's a very nice place to stay in Singapore! Will definitely come back for the next visit!

Family of Six visa run”

We came to Singapore for a quick trip on a visa run. Stayed in the six person room with en suite. Was perfect for us. Room, shower, and toilets were very clean. Very safe, with security doors needing a key pass to enter. Right across the street from Rochor MRT, which makes getting to the airport or city center extremely easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even stayed up until 1am to let us in as we had a late arrival. An added plus is being in Little India with lots of great Indian food all around.
