modern up-to-date hotel; professional staff”

the aetas lumpini hotel on rama iv road was amazing! the food, the professionally trained staff, the clean and elegant rooms were all 5 star. the pool was closed for two days because of a leak but the service and quality of the hotel made up for that. the rooms had high quality linens on the beds, the food was fresh and of excellent quality and most of all, the trained staff especially joe ekachai was most professional and accomodating. because of him and the rest of the staff, i would definitely recommend this hotel. when i return to bangkok, i will stay there again for sure. this is struly what an international 5 star hotel should be like! i've stayed at many hotels across europe and north america as well as the middle east, persian gulf and the aetas lumpini hotel is definitely one of my favorites. i compare it to the madison hotel in st-germain des pres in paris, france which is also a 5 star establishment and one of my favorites when i stay in paris!

Have stayed at the AETAS Lumpini 3 times. For a conference, professional workshop, or even a wedding or party AETAS Lumpini has what you need. It's facilities are attractive, well maintained, effectively configured, and clean. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and well appointed with multiple amenities for an enjoyable stay. The restaurant downstairs (have not eaten in the lounge upstairs) has a very good breakfast and lunch with an extensive assortment of food to cater to everyone's taste. The property has a decent pool. Did not use the health club on my last stay but recollect it was satisfactory; however, it did not possess the type of equipment I customarily use. Nevertheless, their is the option of having a run on the treadmill if you want to. As for customer service, my recent experience was mixed. Nothing bad. Check-in was satisfactory but check was very good. I rarly do this but will mention the duty manager by name for the excellent customer service provide. It entailed follow-up which was courteous, efficient, and effective. Thank you Ekris Chartthong. As for the location, well, AETAS Lumpini is not in the hub of things. Indeed, it's a bit distant from the major centers for entertainment. One can catch the MRT or take a taxi to these of course, and so the hotel is not without merit for tourists but for professional gatherings it's very good indeed. I would, and will stay., at AETAS Lumpini again.

absolutely fantastic hotel!!”

Had a great stay in the AETAS lumpini! The staff were really excelent from when we walked in the door at check in to when we walked out at check out! Breakfast served was excellent, a selection of anything and everything you could possibly want be it asian, american, british or european. Facilities were excellent, an onsite gym and swimming pool as well as saunas and a jacuzzi! Good location near to Lumpini MRT station which enables you to easily get to anywhere in the city or alternatively take a short cab to all the goings on at Siam square. Also nearby are a shopping centre offering a few coffee/eating establishments and the lovely lumpini park! If I absolutely had to find something that could be improved it would be that the swimming pool was very cold (even for sweltering bangkok!) but this really is nit-picking! Great hotel!

Nice Hotel”

The Aetas Lumpini is a new hotel with spacious rooms. The staff are friendly, the rooms are very modern with nice furnishings. Big bathroom with separate tub and shower. Nice amenities. Didn't eat there, though. The hotel's location is a 5 minute walk to Lumpini MRT station (subway). This can take you to connecting stations to the BTS (skytrain) which is a light rail system that gets you to most places that tourists want to go to. Bangkok's trains are timely, clean, and fast. Lumpini is 1 station away from Silom where you can find so many restaurants, nightlife, street life, night markets or just a stroll to experience BKK life. For the price, this hotel would be hard to beat as it is rated 5stars. I would not hesitate to stay here again. No complaints at all.

Favorite hotel in all of Bangkok”

I have stayed at Aetas Lumpini many times in each of the last 5 years and I have never been disappointed. It has a superior, very polite staff in all departments, excellent restaurant at very competitive prices, large and very comfortable rooms, always very clean, The location, on Rama 4 Road, is great for finding a taxi to either of the Bangkok airports or anywhere in the Central Business District, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Skytrain and nightlife in the Silom Road area. I rate it 9.7 on a scale of 1 to 10 and regularly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Bangkok on business or holiday trips from abroad.

Great Location, Helpful Staff, Nice Rooms”

My stay at AETAS Lumpini was great. The hotel is literally a one-minute walk to the Lumphini MRT (metro station). The check-in process was really fast. The room was large, had a bathtub, and gave me a great view of Lumpini Park through the floor to ceiling windows. Staff were really helpful when I needed them; however, I didn't have much to talk to them/ask them about. Also, the neighborhood is not touristy, but it's one metro stop away from tons of restaurants, a mall, and entertainment (Silom). Overall, especially for the value for money, I would highly recommend the AETAS Lumpini.

I can’t express how impressed my husband and I are staying AETAS lumpini! We decided stay here for our honeymoon. When we first got there, we got exactly what we wanted. They even got us a cake congratulating us on our honeymoon. How sweet is that??! Everyone is super friendly, attentive and personable. The best part about staying here is the service we received. Everyone from front desk staffs to our room service. Bangkok, Thailand is pretty hot, even in November. So after a tiring day out in the city, we were eager to head back to our hotel to relax. Every time we head back our room, it’s nice to find that it is always nice and tidy towards the end of the day. They even have laundry service ( four pieces max/day). They always got our stuff washed and it smelt wonderful. I couldn’t be happier. This is one of the highlights of our trip. We will definitely come back!

A beautiful pearl in a disappointing city”

I would avoid bangkok in general. But if I must visit again- i will choose Aetas lumpini for sure. Great service, food, staff, treats. Only thing missing with young children is a gymboree , for times of rain or high air polluition. We booked the junior suite for our family (2+ 3 young children) and were upgraded to a deluxe suite plus got a great cake for our 10th anniversary. Breakfast was amazing with great variety and quality. We also tried the lunch bufette which was wonderful. Overall great stay. But again- we left the hotel we felt bangkok is not suitable for a family.

Excellent”

I have stayed at many hotels from the budget through to 5* such as the mayfair in London. I would highly recommend the Aetas Lumpini. I stayed in the premier suite which has a beautiful corner jacuzzi bathtub sunken into the floor. For a very reasonable price you get the following inclusive: free early check in, free late checkout, fruit on arrival, free mini bar (stocked daily), executive lounge access with free cocktails and canapes for a couple of hours in the evening as well as breakfast included. The room, staff and service was excellent and this is one of the first hotels i have made a point to visit on more than one occasion as I enjoyed my stay so much.

Excellent Stay”

We chose AETAS Lumphini for last 2 days of our honeymoon despite it’s a business hotel. We just fall in love with this hotel. The hotel located just by the side of Lumphini Park. We enjoyed the lush green view from our room at the heart of Bangkok. It was serene environment not chaotic like Shukhumvit. Lumphini MRT station is just 3 minutes away from the hotel and in my opinion it was one of the best MRT station in Bangkok. We were delighted by the warm welcome from the stuffs. Check in was really quick and smooth. The hotel room was excellent and modern. Our room was in honeymoon setup. The breakfast banquet was ample and the foods served were really delicious. Both Hourglass Restaurant and GMT Lounge was nice. However it would be nice if there are some more options to choose in the lunch menu of Hourglass restaurant. I was so tired after 8 days long tour in Thailand. I was not in a mood to watch TV. However my wife complained about number of TV channels. There was no channel for watching ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. We missed the high voltage Semi Final match. Hotel gym was not big enough but it was not an issue for us. Like Sukhumvit this area is not so popular to Taxi drivers. You might need some additional effort to make taxi drivers understand the hotel location. Overall it was an awesome experience to stay at AETAS Lumphini. I will definitely come back here in my next visit.

Super great value for the price”

Everything was perfect, and it was definitely a super great value. The room was new and the bed was very comfortable. I have also stayed at another 5 stars hotel that was 3 times more expensive. Yet, I actually liked AETAS Lumpini better. The bed and pillows were a lot more comfortable at AETAS Lumpini than the other hotel I stayed. The hotel is very new and modern. It's highly recommended.

Great Access to Underground Train”

I've completed many stays at Aetas Lumpini and it is my top choice in Bangkok for access to the underground and elevated train system, the best way to beat Bangkok's notoriously bad traffic. The staff are capable and courteous. The property is only a few years old and is very clean. Rooms are comfortable. In-hotel dining is limited, but ease of access to public transport makes up for this short-fall.

My second home”

Highly recommend, one of the nicest place with the warmest staff, I have ever been to! I keep coming back and every time I am in Bangkok this is my home. Close to everything, yet out if the business and crowds of Silom and Sukhumvit, which sre reachable in matter of minutes. Mrt stop is literally next to the hotel entrance. You are going to love your stay in Bangkok if you choose AETAS Lumpini

Good hotel but unknown to taxi drivers”

It was a very pleasant stay with Aetas Lumpini for 3 nights. Actually we arrived at hotel at 10am, which was before the check-in time, and the counter staff had allowed us to check in when they found one particular room was ready for guest, this differentiated them from many other hotels I had ever stayed. Keep it up! The room facilities were taken care in details, such as phone system personalised my name, complimentary bottle water was properly packed and many other more.

A great place for a romantic evening”

The AETAS Lumpini has great value for a jacuzzi suite in Bangkok. The room does not disappoint and many extras are given when you book a suite. It is a 5 star hotel and yet the breakfast is underwhelming. It is the standard hotel breakfast found all over Thailand. The staff performance was okay except that we had forgotten something in the room and it took a lot of convincing to get them to even ask house keeping about it.

Nice location”

We stayed here during new year eye, so we could travel from place to place easier. Moreover, with comparable standard hotels, Aetas Lumpini offers a better rate than other hotels in the same location. The best is that, it is only 1min walk to a metro station, perfect for tourists who wanna avoid Bangkok traffic.

we're a singaporean family and we have been living in northern thailand. we we in bangkok for 4 days and decided aetas lumpini to be the hotel we will be staying at. apart from the information and the pictures online and the reviews of the other guests who had been to the hotel, we have never seen nor been to the hotel. my daughter is only 1 year and 5 months and have been walking for only 3 months. all of us liked the room so much as it was very spacious with very little dangerous furnitures or items. our little girl could walk around in the room without us worrying if she fell or walk into something. my wife and i loved the large bathroom!! our daughter had her first playtime in the bathtub and she absolutely loved it. after daily shopping trips (included some work), the bed was large enough for my wife, daughter and i to sleep on the same bed, still with space remaining!! the sheets were clean and smelled so clean and the bed was soft enough to be comfortable while firm enough for my weak lower back. hotel was quiet and peaceful, the way i liked it. do not expect much for the food and bars within the hotel. the food quality during breakfast is great but as the other reviews said, the varieties are limited. i loved the restaurant design and layout though (pretty classy). forget about the in-house movies. the cable within the hotel is bad. we watched cartoons (in english) most of the time on the cable and i brought my handy ipad with the hdmi out cable. i lifted the hd led tv (not have heavy) and attached the cable myself. i had some work to do and the large glass worktable was elegant and had an executive like feel. my wife and i sure would like to visit the hotel again when we arrive. got the deal on agoda and was cheaper (about dollars less per night!) compared to my friends who brought separately from another website.

Booked into this hotel mistaking it for the Aetas Bangkok, where my wife was staying for work. Much preferred this hotel. Brand new, well furnished hotel. Would definitely stay here if I was returning to Bangkok. Great location across from Lumpini park and metro station. One stop to Silom or a couple more to Sukhumvit.
