I stayed 2 nights and was greeted everyday by the staff. Ben at the front desk offered recommendations and tips on traveling in the area and best route to head to China. As far as the room, it was clean and more than I imagined. There were a couple of items that needed services by the staff and they took care of it right away. All the restaurants and shops nearby are quite good and convenient. Most importantly the subway is 4 mins from the hotel. I will definitely be back at this hotel and recommend to others.

The nicest staff ever”
My friend got stomach flu, unfortunately, the night we spent in AKVO. The front desk staff, Ben, was very helpful. He tried to get a cab for us, got a clean jacket for my friend and let her sit at front desk while we were waiting for the cab. Despite of the vomiting, we had a great stay at AKVO. Thank to staff in AKVO. Location is amazing. The room is sparkly clean. We’d definitely come again for an affordable yet luxurious experience.

Hey guys i highly recommend you that hotel, clean - super service are on the one side and on the other a super central location. Hotel is a brand new one less than 2 years old with a stunning view and also super clean facitilities. I want to emphasize the friendly staff, most of all Mr. Wong who solved a lot of problems for me. You will have a pleasant and cool stay in the heart of HK.

Pros 1. The hotel is exceptionally good. Great price with excellent services. 2. The staff are nice and we received a little Christmas gift when checking in. 3. Great amenity kit (Ferragamo) and Dyson hair dryer! 4. Large bed, almost can sleep 4-5 people at the same time 5. B&O speaker and DeLonghi coffee machine - Good music and coffee! 6. Free minibar!! With cupnoodles and drinks (my favourite) 7. Breakfast included, simple breakfast with my fav cereal, and there are video games as well Cons Perhaps our room direction, no good view haha

This hotel feels like home away from home. Everyone on the front desk is so helpful in making sure our stay is comfortable. Room is beatifully decorated. Always well-cleaned. Exceptional”
This is the best hotel that we have stayed in Hong Kong so far. Good location, near to Sheung Wan MTR and all the nice eateries within short walking distance. Hotel is new, spacious and modern. All the staff at reception are very professional, friendly, cheerful & helpful. We are very happy to have chosen the stay here. Amazing Hotel ”
Staff are very professional and we loved being greated by them upon our arrival into the lobby - also love the boutiqueness of the hotel, which means you don't see or hear anyone else. Rooms are roomy too. Located within a more residential-like area, and was nice and quiet, with all the amenities around - specifically the metro only a block or two away. Would stay again 100%.

we lived in AKVO Hotel for 3 days after being in china, could not look for anything bette than this! really good price, good location, good staff members that was always available and willing to help. the hotel was really spacious compare to what hotels i lived in hong kong last year would recommend this 10/10 times to anyone that si gonna go to hong kong!

Located right in the center of HK Island - Sheung Wan, this hotel is 5-minute walk away from Sheung Wan MTR. Eateries can be easily found nearby. Nice interior design with good amenities provided, however noted the mal-function hand wash basin which water tends to slowly flow down. Been reported to the personnel however not solved during the stay.

As a frequent traveler to Hong Kong and having stayed in many hotels in the area, AKVO definitely has the most spacious (and well-appointed) rooms. In addition, the staff are friendly and the location is excellent (close to restaurants, the MTR and Central for bars & restaurants). Highly recommended!

Gorgeous boutique hotel. My room was HUGE, with full-height windows on 3 sides, a double fridge, tasteful decor, and good lighting. The location was very central to restaurants, shopping, and transportation. I will definitely go back.

i love the location 100m or less to sheungwan mtr. so many food choices near the hotel. japanese, thai, korean, chinese, bakery, starbucks, mcdo and even a grocery store. the street is not a busy one like in tsim tsa tsui but can be accesed by taxi or uber and also safe to walk around. The staff are so nice. They always welcome you with a smile and even open the door and help you with the elevator if you’re holding a lot of things. The room is big, lot of space to move around but the CR/bath is a bit small. Get the king size bed. I recommend everyone to stay here. You wont regret it.

This hotel was a lovely surprise. Rated as 3 stars I didn’t expect what it delivered. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was supplied with Salvatore Ferragamo products and a Dyson hair dryer. The hotel staff were more than accommodating and went out of the way to help. I highly recommend this hotel.

Got upgraded to suite room”
Delighted to be upgraded to one of the hotel’s top floor suites. The suite is the only room on your floor which gives good privacy. The room is well designed with high end electrical appliances ie Dyson hairdryer and B&O speaker etc. There is a treadmill in the room! High end brand for toiletries too. Spacious room obviously and bathtub is a plus. Hotel staff is very professional and helpful. Express check in and out. Shame it is just a one night stay due to flight delay but would definitely recommend to friends.
