The Alina staff are super friendly. The hotel has all the amenities you want and is priced right. It is just across the street from the beach and is close to many excellent restaurants. It also has an excellent pool. The staff’s answer to every request is “yes, no problem”. We have stayed at Alina each of the 3 years we have visited White Sand Beach on Koh Chang. We will be back.

Great Budget Hotel & Convenient Location”

My wife (Thai) and I have visited Koh Chang many times and have stayed at numerous times at this hotel. Do realize that the hotel has two locations; Alina Grande Resort on the beach side and the Alina Grande Hotel across the street. We've stayed at both; however, this write up is for the Resort on the beach side. The Resort is older and does look like it's in need of some modernization; particularly the bathroom. With that said, the wife and I really enjoy staying here; rooms are clean, service is friendly and good, and it's an easy walk to a number of great places to eat. Our room faced the beach and we throughly enjoyed sitting on the patio having a drink and something to eat. As always, we've never had any problems using Agoda or having a hotel/guesthouse accept an Agoda voucher.

alina grande hotel is situated close to whitesand beach( just cross the main road) and has nice and friendly staff.rooms have greatcomfort and nice terrace.close to the hotel you cand find different good restaurants can eat very well for little money).also can book trips all over the island almost everywhere.one little thing to improve maybe : you must ask reception every day if you want your room cleaned.

Good hotel ”

Alina consist of the alina Resort end Hotel opposite the road. The resort we stayed in last year is qiut old and the rooms need refurbishment. The Hotel is new a building with great large rooms about 45m2 . Plus: Inhouse supermaket (not overpriced) Nice swimming pool. mins: Wifi is not free

Great location”

it was may another visit to Ko Chang but first to Alina Hotel. My bungalow was located very close to the beach and restaurant. Room was big enough for one person but lighting level was very poor and noises from restaurant were sometimes bothersome.

Overall good stay”

Big rooms, have everything you need (except shower gel and shampoo). Location is almost in the middle of white sand beach but you have to walk a bit to reach sandy beach. There is a bar and music is on till 2am but this was on the hotel description so you know what you pay for. Unfortunately there were a mouse in our room but overall good stay with nice owner. :)

Nice confortable rooms. Noisy nightclub on one sid”

Confortable family hotel, if you don´t get a room on the southeast side where there are a noisy nightbar outside the window. The rooms where really priceworth, big, clean and with nice personel. We was a party of 10 persons and had booked 7 nights. We had nice and quiet rooms with "mountain view" placed in a more newly built building directly across the road (not see side). The view was not so splended but we didn't spend our time on the balcony. We decided to stay 2 more nights and had to change rooms. My room was then facing the other side and it was not quiet any moore. On Saterday evening the sound from a rock bar and a night club made it impossible to sleap. Specially as the night bar played so laud that the whole room vibrated until 4 am in the morning. Sunday night was more reasonable, I think the night bar was closed. ASK FOR A ROOM ON THE NORTH EAST SIDE or one with pool view. THOR's PLACE, on the beach and part of the hotel, was a nice place to eat in. Very nice personel and god food. We took our breakfast there and also some lunches and was treated as special guests with wellcomming arrival and stories from the waiter accomponing our meal.

Spacious rooms and conveniently located”

we stayed the one night at alina on our trip to koh chang. the rooms are very large so there's plenty of space. the hotel is very convenient being located in the middle of town and the beach is just on the other side of the road. the drawback is the music blaring from a few shops down so if your room is on that side of the building you'll definitely hear it at night.

Great Budget Hotel Near the Beach”

We got a good deal on Agoda so our room at Alina was really reasonably priced. We were happy with the size of the room, the location of the hotel and the pool. The hotel is near many bars, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. As long as there's a good deal on rooms, we'd be happy to stay at Alina again.

alina is alwhayse nice to stay 2 i been here so many times. greate location nice staf big nice room they alwhayse keep good service.sadly new elemnts come arounde alina we dide get room to night life area thats not nice if u not like night life. loude music to 3 am evry day sad four alina hope thay solve this. 150 bath per day four internet is not 2012 should be free and not cleaned room ewry day if u not tell them mm.breakfast is not the best but in the end alina is whery nice stay in koh chang.

A rusty diamond ”

The hotel is just across the road from white sand beach, with it’s easy access foot path again opposite. The reason for this hotel is location location, not based on brilliant food, or trendy rooms with whizz tv and mini bar. The hotel has a mini store which really does provide everything you need. There is no great mark up. The place is really quite charming in its way, a little tired looking it could really do with some Tlc. The breakfast is a small buffet, which when served is warm, but because of no thought for heating gets cold. Nothing really as bad as a cold fried egg. Otherwise, do realise you are getting what you paid for. The staff are really very friendly and ever so helpful, love you guys. And yes we will be back, God willing.

Nice resort on southern part of White Sand Beach”

Alina Resort consists of Bungalows and Rooms, located between street and beach. Due to the topology, the Bungalows are close to each other, rather low-budget, but nice and clean. Alina Grand Hotel is on the other side of the street and rather suitable for tourist which need more comfort (e.g. family with children). There is also a small supermarket, and a restaurant directly on the beach.

Good hotel ”

we managed to travel from siem reap to koh chang in the day so needed a cheap overnight stay in whitesands beach. what a good choice ! friendly welcome and good large room. breakfast was extra but good. pool and sunbeds looked new and great. would have liked to stay longer. not on the beach but only 30 yds away. one disadvantage is that the sea comes right up so that walking along the beach is limited but walk along the strip 100 yds further north and you can find the main beach. plenty of eating places and bars so good location.

good location and great service”

A decent hotel for the price. Clean bright rooms and friendly helpful staff. Restauarant offers a very simple breakfast menu. Location is at the first main beach, and is located right across from it. A short 1-2 minute walk and you are right there! I wish I had upgraded to a room with 'bech view'. My room ended up being looking down the side of the main road with a large transformer electrical transformer maybe 10 feet from the balcony. But otherwise a good deal for your money.

We liked the location (nearly the white, sandy beach) and the friendly staff. This is our second year in a row at the Alina. We will return.

Nice hotell with good location”

+ Nice and clean hotell + Room with balcony + Good location in the south White Sand Beach. Just cross the road and then you are at the beach. Walk hundred meter on the beach and it is really good to swim there. + Nice and helpfull staff - Poor breakfast

Good Hotel with very nice location”

I stayed at the seaside of the Hotel, and can only recommend it. The room was basic but clean and all amenities you needs are available. It also had a nice balcony. The staff was helpful and friendly. They also rent out motorbikes, however you can get them cheaper just next door at the internet cafe. Very recommendable is the restaurant right on the beach; even though it is a little pricey for Koh Chang.

Great location on a great island”

Very good value for money hotel with only a 30m walk to the beach. Centrally located on the main beach shopping strip on Ko Chang. Friendly staff and reasonably sized room for the price. Great reastaurants and bars within easy walking distance.

Very near to the beach.”

The hotel is starting to show its age, but is made of sturdy materials and for the most part it is still very serviceable. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Decent balconies, air-con OK, and the swimming pool is very good. Very close to the beautiful White Sand Beach.

Convenient hotel with parking!”

I always stay here on motorcycle rides to Koh Chang, because they have off street and secure parking. It is an easy walk to basically all things on white sand beach, and makes for a great couple days for the price. If you are a solo travel and just want a cleanish place to sleep and keep your things (and motorcycle!) safe, this is a great place.
