You can't beat the Hotel location”

Location is super convenient for travellers. Numerous affordable eateries nearby. Book super deluxe or deluxe room, you won't regret. Reception guys are extremely friendly and cooperative. Regarding room, size is small (you get what you pay for), toilet is big but don't have 'bum gun' Its more eco friendly and hygienic. Bed is super comfy, bed lined is good, pillows are soft, sleep quality was good. Tips for other travelles, if you are family then take taxi to most tourist places, fares will be within SGD 5-7, for Vivocity/Sentosa take bus number 80 from sultan mosque bus stop which is just 1 min from hotel. From Changi T4 to Aliwal park hotel taxi fare was under SDG 20. Hope these information will help you.

Exceptional”

I love this Hotel, Check in are smooth, room were clean and cozy at the same time, they even provided biscuit and warm water at the lobby. The only thing that it's a bit to far from MRT station, if you are too lazy too walk, maybe you can reconsider to stay there. However, the Hotel also have so many nice cafe and food, it's near from Haji Lane as well. The receptionist girl with bright brown color hair, forget to ask her name, she is really nice and helpful. Everything was great, Recommended for budget hotel”

I stayed in Aliwal Park Hotel for 3 night. Reasonable price for backpacker. Facilities in the room was complete; such as toiletries, clean towel and room, comfy bed, good AC, minibar (kettle, coffee sachet, sugar, free small mineral water everyday was always fulfilled), hanger, good shower. Receptionists are friendly and helpful, easy to get food, near to get MRT station by foot around 10 minutes, mosque for moslem, 7 eleven. Overall was great. I recommend this hotel for traveller. Thanks Aliwal Park Hotel for giving us a comfortable place to rest.

More than what I expected ”

I was having doubts in staying at Aliwal at first due to the bad reviews I read but because it was cheap I went with it anyway. I was surprised though when I checked in coz it was okay. I mean it’s a budget hotel so you shouldn’t expect 4 or 5 stars but it was clean and neat enough. If you’re a fussy customer better don’t stay here. The receptionists are friendly and nice. The location is great, near masjid, restaurants and transports. My only negative review is that they don’t have water pipe and the toilet is small. Other than that everything is okay.

There is a Queen bed, AC, Water heater plus shower, Water closed, TV Cable. 4. Lift 5. Near Kampong Glam & Masjid Sultan & Masjid Malabar 6. Near Halal Foodstall (Nasi Padang, etc.) 7. Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

Budget Hotel In City Centre”

Have been staying at Aliwal Park whenever I am in Singapore. It is in Bugis district and thus in city centre - transportation and food available easily. The hotel itself is re ally value for money - staff are courteous and polite, and the hotel is clean and comfortable.

You get what you pay for...”

I was looking for the cheapest budget hotel in that part of town and of course, Aliwal Park Hotel's prices do not disappoint. Kampung Glam has grown from a hippie hangout to hipster haven so having a hotel there at these prices is really surprising. But, you do get what you pay for. An ancient lobby and lifts, thin linen, dubious cleaning practices, a little curly hair in the soap dish, and dustballs in the corners. My room at least had a little window, which I did not keep open due to red ants marching just right outside. However, you can't fault it for what it is, which is the cheapest stay in that part of town with cold air conditioning, bedsheets that do their job, hot water, and cable TV. Would I stay there again? Not on a honeymoon, of course, but if you just want to crash after binge drinking at Blu Jaz nearby, why not.

Comfy hotel in city centre”

Aliwal Park has always been my hotel of choice while in Singapore. Nothing frilly and is just alright for a good night sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room is clean and secure to ensure a good night rest.

Great Budget Hotel In The City”

Had been staying at the Aliwal Park since long time ago - always good stay. Hotel staff are friendly and there is no problem in getting transportation to other parts of the city. It would be great if the Hotel can arrange for parking !

Good location near Arab street & Haji Lane”

I have stayed at Aliwal Park twice and found it very valuable, all thanks to the convenient location (near bus stop & Arab street & Haji Lane). The rooms were quite small (which were acceptable due to Singapore's expensive cost), but they were kept cleanly every day. Still recommend this property for budget travel.

Excellent Location”

This hotel is very accesible and is not hard to find. It has quite a distance from the Bugis and Lavender train stations but exercise is good for the heart. The downs of this hotel is the room size; with our luggage around there was difficulty in moving and there was a leak in the bathroom that needs immediate attention and we have to conserve water

Solo traveler Stay for 3 days 2 night ”

We were stayed for 5 days, it was very nice time at Aliwal Hotel. Decious Zam Zam food, transportation (near bus stop and MRT) and heritage (Kampong Glam).

only 5min walk to haji lane, 10min / around 1km walk to bugis street, price is worthed with the room, and room is clean enough but the toilet is smells not good. if you travell with kids, this room is too small

We were a couple traveling to Singapore on a leisure trip. The hotel room we stayed in had the basic amenities such as water kettle, complimentary water & coffee, hot water system, AC, daily room service with nice staff at reception and for the room service :) Overall, we were happy with our stay.

the location near MRT station and Masjid sultan and bugis junction..the price is so so since Singapore is a bit expensive..the room is clean with thin wall so you will heard some of noises from outside of your room..but overall i like staying here..

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days for My Birthday Vacation with my mom in Singapore. Place is near all the tourist spots and its quiet. The Staffs at the hotel Maya and Mona are very friendly , helpful and always greets u with a smile. Had a great stay in singapore.

Best Value Hotel In Singapore For Price. ”

For a solo traveller or couple just looking for a bed to sleep in along with a tv , shower , toilet in a private room after being out and about Singapore all day this is your place ! Sure it’s not big rooms or 5 star but did the job for me as I was out daily from 8-7pm daily at $55 AUS a night . There are swimming centres close by if you want a swim , restaurants everywhere etc and just 900m from bugis street markets , shops & MRT train station.

Aliwal Park is located next to the Sultan Mosque, and is in the Little Arab Area of Singapore. You can catch a breathe of the Arab/Malay heritage of Singapore that is not at all visible in modern day Singapore. The scent of spices from cooking curries sometimes drifts up to wake you up for another exciting exploring day!
