Heaven on earth, this is the place!”

It was a great experience to stay in Anantara Seminyak, a place where you truly feel being treated like a family or even a royalty. Very friendly and attentive staffs. Very spacious suits, with jacuzzi at the balcony. Details are taken into consideration, for example… they provide in door and outdoor slipper; bag for you to put your belonging to bring to the beach, sea salt for your bath tub soaking, lip balm, face scrub, hand cream, face mist spray/sun block for tanning, dvd, jingga, colour pencils and drawing pad (your unusual stuffs, what other hotels will provide)…etc. Great variety of breakfast. Buffet mostly cold dishes and you can order the rest from their menu as you like. They serve good coffee and freshly squeezed mixed fruits juice as well and not from your normal juice dispenser machine. If there's a reason to go back to Bali, Anantara Seminyak is my only reason to go back. Kudos to all the staffs for making my trip a memorable one and you will surely be missed.

Beautiful location, wonderful hotel”

We were at Anantara Seminyak in our recent trip to Bali and we were glad we chose Anantara. The property was designed to allow their guests maximum relaxation. The staff at Anantara are fantastic, they were polite and friendly, making you at ease at the property and not feeling spied on. Our room package at Agoda had breakfast packaged in and breakfast at Wild Orchid was great with buffet line set up and a la carte. Another must try is Anantara's SOS Dinner Club on the top floor. You can lie on one of the day beds at the outlet watching sunset at the same time. Great ambience!

Best hotel I have had stayed in!”

Arrived at Anantara after coming off a 3am flight from Thailand. My partner was very tired and the observant check in girl inquired as to her state, providing a cool drink and face towel to each of us. Even though we arrived early (around 12pm) we were still granted a check in to an ocean view room (I had booked a standard room, but later asked for an upgrade, which was provided to us at the without additional charges. One thing I noticed about the staff at Anantara is there attention to detail. When ordering room service I asked for no bacon in my food, which prompted the attendant to ask if I only eat halal food. The following morning we walked through the lobby of the hotel where the same reception girl inquired to see if my partner was feeling better. It was the little things like this that make a big difference! Breakfast was fantastic, as is the location of the hotel (on the beach, very close to restaurant strip and bars in Seminyak). Significant security out the front of the hotel which also gave us peace of mind. Also the most comfy bed I have experienced in a hotel! Could not fault the hotel for anything! 10/10

Great resort and the breakfast was so good. ”

This is a great resort although it is compact and doesn't have the grand gardens and huge resort pools that some of the other beach front resorts of Seminyak do, I would still highly recommend the Anatara for so many reasons. The staff we very helpful & friendly, the rooms are very large with great ocean views, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom has an amazing shower. The breakfast was my favourite. I have been to just about all the resorts in Seminyak whilst travelling to Bali in the last 5 years (this was my 14th trip to Bali). Never have I had such a delicious breakfast. The Anatara Benedict is worth going to the Anatara just for breakfast even if your not staying at the resort.

Perfect Getaway”

Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa exceeded all of our expectations, especially for a last minute hotel booking. Nice touches in the room, such as an iPod connector, DVD's and a pre-loaded iPod with hotel picks. The room with access to a semi-private pool is a great option for those who don't want a full villa to themselves. Overall, great stay (and great food).

Cozy and Relax”

We stay in Anantara for 6 days. What we really in love with was their service. Daily fresh and free local fruit sent to our room, customer win a sparkling wine in a cocktail competition party because of the regular alarm testing, and if we stay on the beach side day bed, we received water and fruits for free! We also surprise by the breakfast buffet! No matter the nice staffs, also with the fresh and different juice everyday and we can ordered the a la carte menu for free! And the food were lovely and pretty! These all minor stuffs made us be welcomed by a friend instead of just staying in a hotel. We felt the team really want us to have a taste of Bali. Only we think the shower tub in our Ocean view room is a bit week but we enjoy bathing! No matter inside or outside! Thank you Anantara!

Nice view on Seminyak beach”

We stayed 2 days at the Anantara Seminyak Resort, staff very helpfull, great suit-room, calm and very clean. They serve a mix "a la carte" breakfast with a buffet, very nice and well served. The resort is immediately on the beach and a little walk from the restaurants and night life. They took care of our car to park and retrieve it when we wanted too.

Pleasant stay at Anantara”

We just came back from our Bali vacation staying at Anantara Resort. it was a very lovely stay bc all the staffs were so cheerful and polite and they were also very helpful. the hotel is beautiful and well-kept except a few spots inside the hotel room, like near the night light by the bed. The room came with complimentary buffet breakfast and food was fantastic. Love the pool even though it's not too big and love that the beach is only few steps away from the hotel. The beach is quite beautiful bc it's long, flat with black sand. Very kid friendly. i really want to bring my two kids there next time. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. One day i left my sunglasses (an expensive one) on the lounge chair. I was sad that i lost them and thought they were gone for good. The next day i asked the staffs, half an hour later, she handed them back to me! i was so grateful they didn't just take them and kept them for themselves. All and all a very pleasant experience staying at Anantara. Will definitely go back there soon.

Extremely splendid ”

I stayed at Anantara Seminyak for 2 nights . I choose the beach-pool suite room type . It was the best !! ... Big / clean / comfortable / full of mini bar / two bathroom ; one inside and another at balcony for massaging or private spa . I swam in the morning ... When on bed I slept with the song from the sea !! Amazing location . Also , breakfast at 4th floor was perfect ... You can order alacarte menu or join international buffet . It was great ... It urged me to wake up every morning for these fine dishes .

Paradise in Chaos”

I despised Bali in general, but Anantara was an amazing oasis of calm, relaxation, and tasteful Balinese decor in the middle of chaos. From the drink on arrival (with personal greeting from the manager) to the amazing views of the ocean from the fitness centre, I would very very highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has to go to Bali. The price you pay is well, well worth it.

Fantastic hotel with huge rooms!!”

We changed hotels to The Anantara Seminyak and were already positive when we saw the area Seminyak! Such a nice place with great restaurants and amazing shopping. The hotel was so wonderful, the rooms were huge, the view exceptional and service was so good!

Great Hotel”

I have to start by saying I was in two minds about staying here given I’m always the one to read the most negative reviews about a place, many which complained about slow and unhelpful staff and average rooms, one person even said it’s far from being a 5 star hotel. I have to say the negative reviews are totally wrong as I found all staff extremely helpful and that they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The rooms are very large and well appointed and our request to be moved to a room with a better view was met the next day. Obviously this is lead from the top so my credit goes to the General Manager for hiring exceptional staff that seem to really enjoy working there and will do whatever they can to meet a reasonable request from a quest. Well done Anantara team, we will be back!

Lovely Hotel perfect location”

I would highly recommend the Anantara, the hotel is clean and the staff are super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room provided everything to make us feel very comfortable and well looked after. I have never written a hotel review before but have no hesitation recommending this one, the hotel prices for food and drinks however were rather high, but i believe most of them are!, this was still a top quality hotel without fault.

Great anantara seminyak balie hotel/resort”

Anatara seminyak hotel/resort is really a paradise on earth. One of the best i visit, altough the high price you get allot and have a great experience.Service of the staff is absolutly excellent.The room is clean and absolutly extrodanairy, kingsize bed,livingroom, hottub inside and outside and complenmentary internet.Breakfast is a la carte and/or buffet, very diverse en tasty. beach is a 1 min walk and the hotel has a free bathing and sunning benchs for there guests. Two pools and a small gym. Altogether had a wonderfull time, enjoyed and relaxed vacation

My husband and i stayed seven nights in one of their suites in May 2012..Very large suites and very clean and what ever we wanted brought up to our room ..extra towels.ice..it was there straight away..special treats left by our bed every night..close to all the best restuarants in Bali..being in Seminyak..could not fault the resort..From happy couple

Amazing hotel in all ways possible!”

I stayed in Bali for 10 days at 3 5 different hotels and Anantara was by far my favourite! We had an Ocean Suite and it was AHHHMAZING!!!!!! The room was gigantic, the view was to die for and we even had our own jacuzzi on the balcony. This is a MUST TRY for all Bali travellers!

Spacious big room in front of the beach”

Located just in front of seminyak beach, big hotel room with outdoor bathtube, and with affordable price it was great deal to stay here. Unfortunately the hotel is quite old, there's some part of the room that need renovation, also the breakfast selections in not many. Roof top bar needs lots of renovation. But the staffs are nice and friendly, overall was great time here.

Exceptional”

We are a bit skeptical after reading some of the not so positive reviews. When we reach hotel, we were given complimentary head&neck massage and we immediately book for the full body massage. Love the massage and everything throughout our 2 nights stay there! Spacious room, breakfast with great view and courteous staff. I would definitely book Anantara again ! *One of the staff mistaken us for being visitor and let us know that the lobby is for in-house guests only.

Great location, nice experience”

Really touch by the welcoming free massage and we really enjoy the overall experience. I noticed they change some items for breakfast (marmalade, etc) but the breakfast was still great. Will visit Anantara Seminyak for next occasion for sure.

Luxurious, Private, Fabulous Service”

We chose the pool access suite for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. We almost didn't want to leave our room! The service was superb. They anticipated everything we needed and more. We arrived 5 hours earlier than check-in time and were accommodated for early check-in, they even had a complimentary back massage. Everybody was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Do go up the rooftop bar (Moonlite) during sunset. The view cannot be beat, and the mojito promo for happy hour is great value. Warning though that if you are hot to explore Seminyak on foot, Anantara is not walking distance from the main roads where the bars, restaurants and shops are. This is not a bad thing. If you want to be steps away from the action, stay in Jalan Petitinget.
