Great value in location and facilities”

I rented a room at Anantasila Villa By The Sea for 2 nights of my honeymoon trip with my wife in Thailand. It was a perfect fit from the start. Beautifully built, unbeatable location, and just overall great service. We arrived at night and had a relaxing evening meal at the hotel restaurant. The food was reasonably priced and some of the best I ate during our whole time in Thailand. Nothing too innovative but great food made well every time. During the next day, we took time to use a couple of the plentiful beach chairs laid out on the beach directly next to the hotel. Service was attentive and helpful throughout. There were a decent number of hawkers offering various goods/services but none of them are the annoyingly insistent type. The downtown area of My only regret was that we did not take advantage of the pool or hot tub areas. And that we ever had to leave!! :-P

Lovely hotel in a wonderful setting”

Having stayed mainly in the heart of Hua Hin on previous visits we decided to stay, this time, in the Anantasila - which is situated in the backdrop of "monkey mountain" at the southern end of the resort. Located in a sheltered bay with beautiful beaches, we found that this was a perfect spot to find peace and tranquility, whilst still only a short tuk tuk ride for our teenage boys to get into the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin itself. There were a discreet number of watersports on the beach, together with pony rides, which pleased our 6 year old. Buffet breakfast was very good, but we were disappointed with the a-la-cart breakfast on the second day. The bar/restaurant prices are very competitive and half price on all drinks during 'happy hour' make it a 'must' to be there between 1700 and 1800hours! Our rooms were nicely decorated, well equipped and comfortable, although the plumbing in our room was showing its age! All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We only had one problem-a light bulb which needed replacing-and this was done within minutes of reporting it.

Perfect Getaway Holiday”

We booked 2 nights at the Anantasila Villa By The Sea and we liked it so much we extended our stay an additional night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We had the Deluxe Jr. Suite by the pool and could not have been more pleased, really it was perfect for a relaxing getaway. (we couldn't get the suite for the 3rd night, and the smaller rooms by the pool were also very comfortable). Relaxing by the pool you can take in beautiful orchids, palms, the pool itself, and the beach. We had not been here before but we will return.

A Weekend Getaway to Hua Hin”

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Anantasila Villa. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant (although it is a tad pricey for Thailand), the location by the beach was fantastic and the hotel staff were very helpful in arranging transportation for us. There are definitely cheaper places to stay in Hua Hin, but this hotel is worth the price in my opinion.

Beautiful, relaxing resort”

My family and I fell in love with Anantasila Resort at first sight. We loved the beautiful colorful flowers and orchids that are all around the resort. There are trees on the beach which allowed us to relax on beach beds in the shade. We were also able to get oil massages on the beach at very cheap prices! The restaurant is excellent. It has generous servings at reasonable prices. It has an international cuisine that we loved as we are not avid fans of Thai food. However, we wished there were more grilled seafood choices. The staff are simply amazing. They speak English and were very helpful. They show genuine concern for our satisfaction. Once, when we had some leftovers from lunch, the waiter, with a puzzled look on his face, asked me if anything was wrong with our food. Not once have I been asked this question before in Thailand. Also, at breakfast, my son wanted more bacon as he said he didn't have enough yet. We ordered for two more pieces, but the waiter served us a lot more than that and jokingly said that the chef wanted us to have more! The garden room in which we stayed is huge. It can accommodate four adults comfortably. However, we wished there were more English entertainment channels on the cable service. The room has 2-prong electric sockets and so we couldn't use our 3-pronged gadgets. Fortunately, the front desk lent us an adapter so it was not a big deal. Wifi service is also free everywhere in the resort!

Nice accommodation”

We stayed at pool villa and prefer the room design and all facilities. The staff gave the good service and kind to support and answer the question. There is the service for pick up and send us at the restaurant around Khao-Ta-Kiab. The location is good and you can walk at the beach just in front of the hotel. We stay 6 persons with one little dog , charge for dog 500 THB. I recommend Anantasila Villa By the Sea to be one good option for all travelers.

Great location with excellent service mind”

I stayed in this hotel two times, one time with family then I came back again because of the following reasons. First, it is reasonable price with a 4 stars hotel. Second, it is good location behind Takiab which is private and differentiates from the hotels in front of Takiab. Third, I always got a great service from the hotel staff. They are polite, kind, and willing to help. Thia time, I am so impressed by the staff name "Joy." She has a great service mind. Finally, the lay out of hotel itself is great. They have a very beautiful swimming pool at day and night time. There are also places to sit and enjoy the beach. I love this hotel! and will be back again.

Fantastic location, very relaxing time”

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable finish to our holiday in Thailand at the Anantasila Hotel. The setting was superb, the food was fantastic, the rooms were very nice. The whole family fell in love with the hotel and its location. We all wish we could have stayed for longer. We all spent a lot of time in the pool, which was good as it was very hot there for our stay. We all want to go back for another holiday soon. We will be recommending the hotel to our friends and family. It was also good to have a comfortable bus to take us from Hua Hin directly to Bangkok airport. This hotel deserves the high rating it has on Agoda's web site.

Two Nights in Heaven”

From being met off the bus from Bangkok Airport to the moment we left, we were made to feel very special indeed - we wish to say thank you to every single member of the team who was so helpful and courteous and friendly towards us. We travelled to Hua Hin to visit the Wildlife Friends of Thailand animal sanctuary (also highly recommended) and we only wish we had had the time to spend longer here. Highlights were: the beautiful singing of Orlanda and Emy on both evenings; the 2 fabulous dinners and 2 buffet breakfasts we are; our 6 am walk up the hill to visit the temple (and hundreds of monkeys); my wife's jacuzzi's as we stayed in the annex building; the rooftop sunbathing area; the fabulous swimming pool; the walks along the golden beach. But as other reviewers have said, the attention to detail and excellent customer service from Joy and her team was the best we have ever experienced, wherever we have stayed in the world. Everything about our 45 hour stay was perfect.

Beautiful, quiet area wonderful staff”

Our stay at the Anantasila Hua Hin Hotel was a very good experience. The staff was very helpful and always went out of their way to greet you. Panata the Assistant Manager was very easy to talk to if there were any problems. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food available and the restaurant was probably the best hotel restaurant we came across in our month holiday and the price was very reasonable.

Beautiful Gardens and Pool Area. Range of rooms.”

we had a very pleasant stay in their cheapest rooms. they had two full queen beds in each room so it was easy to accommodate 4 adults. the kids enjoyed the mini golf. the best hotel on this stretch of beach south of ko takiab. the quality of food at the restaurant was excellent and the prices reasonable. the menu was getting a little thin by the third day especially the breakfast menu. the pool area was stunning and beautifully maintained. our room was clean but sparse. the suites and apartments appeared to be lavish. the staff was friendly and helpful. this is not the hotel to stay at if you're looking for night life. shuttle and song taow will get into hua hin but it will take a bit of time.

Beautiful Hotel, Lovely Beach”

We stayed here for over a week and it was relaxing. During the week the hotel was nearly empty. The weekends are busy with expats and Thais who come from Bangkok. The hotel is well maintained, the staff are lovely and the pool is huge. the beach is nice. the location is away from the rest of Khoa Takiab but it only takes 10 minutes to walk around to the other part of town/beach. It's pretty quiet at night in the area, but you can get a taxi to hua hin quite easily. we would stay here again.

Beautifull relaxing Anantasila”

The first impression of Anantasila was at arrival. It felt like they were ready and happy to see us. We arrived in the evening, and the next morning we looked out from our terrasse and were met with the most beutifull sight of the Garden, all the Orcids and the pool. Breakfast at the Restaurant overlooking the sea was the start of a stay with only positive expirienses. We went to Thailand to relax, and Anantasila was the perfect place to do so. Actually is was so nice, that we have agreed to come back to Anantasila next year. (It was the third time in Thailand for us, but our first stay at Anantasila)

Anantasila hotel”

The Anantasilla hotel is located in a perfect beachfront position with well established gardens containing some beautiful orchids that surround the swimming pool.the staff are friendly and the food was excellent. the rooms are very spacious and clean. it's in a quiet location and you will need to have transport arranged if you wish to travel into khao Takiap or further afield into Hua Hin. However We found this no issue with plenty of places to hire motorcycles at very cheap prices.I would highly reccomend the hotel as a location for total relaxation in a prime beachfront position and will be staying there again next time we visit Thailand.

Sea Breezes”

We were on our honeymoon, and the staff upgraded us to their penthouse suite, complete with welcoming sculpture of embracing love-swans (from towels and roses....very skilful and tasteful) It was quite the most romantic holiday I think I have ever had. The dinners on the beach were superbly prepared, with great attention from the staff. Breakfast buffets were outstanding, catering for every taste. It was like going out for a special "brunch" every day. Hotel had free shuttle to downtown Hua Hin. Only used it once. The beach was superb, and the sea breezes were very welcome. Too bad we had to leave. If I won the lottery I would be staying there for months on end.

Great charming hotel high value for price”

this hotel is very charming with a kind of spanish ascienda lookalike and is idealy located straight on the most beautiful beach in hua hin. the staff is professional and very helpfu, the rooms are reasonably large and the swimming pool is great.however be aware not to book the garden view. this is the one we had booked but we luckily got upgraded on a pool view. the garden view rooms are in fact a car park view. the restaurant is wonderful with a combination of western and thai food prepared by a french chef and the price is very reasonable and cheaper than outside restaurants ( thb for a 3 courses menu)

Great location, super friendly staff”

Perfect place to stay in Hua Hin. You will get both mountain view (kaotakiab) and sea view. Staff is very nice and polite. Room is clean. Very minor thing - buffet breakfast line is quite small. it was a bit chaos. both staff and guests were crowded in that little corner and food is running out so quick. however, with all the good things at Anantasila, this problem can be ignored.

My girlfriend who i had met on the internet had recommemded me this hotel to meet eachother. and it was so unforgettable! I still remember so much of all the things we did and experienced in Hua Hin and its surroundings. It was so fantastic to have stayed here for three days. Definitely will return to Anantasila. Thanks for hospitality.

My stay in Hua Hin”

The hotel is really nice, clean with beautiful gardens and a big swimming pool.They provide deck chairs on the beach under palm trees which is great.The sand on the beach is nice but as you get near the water there's lots of shells so watch your step.On most days the water in the gulf in clean but on somedays everyones garbage seems to wash up on the beach. The food in the hotel restaurant is great and well worth the price. Only one cmplaint is the ride from the hotel to the airport provided by the hotel.While still in Hua hin the driver met someone in another vehicle and he just stopped to talk to him for 20 minutes and this caused me to almost miss my flight.

Good location and friendly staff”

This is my second time at Anantasila Villa By the Sea. My 5 years old nephew told me that he loves everything of this hotel, the beach, pool, location, foods and staff...and we are happy with that.
