Honeymoon Destination”
Pros- value for your money- We booked a week before our decided date and we were still able to get a water villa. Price was pretty good considering we booked late. Location- Had to ride a seaplane and a boat to reach the island which is pretty awesome. The island resort was very gorgeous and we were in love with the place. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our room was very spacious, the balcony is a plus to it; as well as the glass panel wherein you can see the water below the villa and daily cleaning is always done. The island itself is very clean and people observe cleanliness as well. You can choose to have activities and tours provided by the resort or you can just do your own thing. Cons- buffet food can be the same, and sometimes limited choices, if you have health issues, nil hospital/doctor but atleast management was able to help us go to a hospital in another island. Otherwise, there was not much cons. It was really a very memorable honeymoon..

Angaga is a Fantastic Mid-Range Resort”
The Maldives is spectacular and expensive, so while 7 nights in a Superior Over-Water Bunglaow at Angaga set us back just shy of $US3,800 (half board) that's still classified as Mid-Range. NB: Full-board and all-inclusive are also options available). But the location, staff, cleanliness, facilities and everything else about Angaga is anything but mid-range. It is a beautiful and spectacular island with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The island itself is situated a half-hour seaplane ride south-west of Male in the southern part of the Ari Atoll, so the transfers will set you back a further $US350 per person, but its a rather spectacular way to arrive. For diving enthusiasts, there are a multitude of fantastic dive sites with a 30-45 minute boat ride, and the dive boats go out twice a day. The downsides; unfortunately the coral on the house-reef is mostly dead, but fortunately there is a huge amount of fish; including turtles and white & black tip reef sharks.

Maldivian Paradise”
Angaga was everything we could have hoped for. We opted for the half board beach bungalows and were really impressed with the range and quality of the food and privacy and stunning view from our bungalow. Originally we stayed in 116 but this had limited views due to bushes so we opted for a move to the top of the island in 125-130. The bungalow was directly on the beach with amazing sea views. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and helped celebrate our anniversary with complimentary cava with dinner and a beautiful flower display in our room. The dive company was exceptional; very professional instructors and top quality equipment. The boat trips were very well organised and included everything needed. This is a quiet resort, which we loved and it was nice to make choices about which activities you wanted to partake in, there was no expectation.

Perfect stay in Angaga. Helpful and nice staff. Really can see different colourful fish even though most of the coral bleched. But can see baby tiger sharks and sea turtle very close. Breakfast and Dinner Buffet quite good. It is not worth to join the island visit. No guide just offers ship to bring you there and let you go around the island by yourself, nothing can see and do in the island. Surprise that our beach villa room was updated to the water villa in the last night. Perfect view everywhere in the island. Beautiful sunset, great beach. Sure will come again next time.

Beautiful island, baby sharks welcoming at the deck. Food was great. I read some bad review about the food, but it was not true for us. Anything you can eat, fruits, fresh juice. If you are looking for a specialized restaurant on a specific cuisine, then it may not be the case, but seen the location, it was more than what we needed. One thing, the coral is unfortunately highly damaged, as I saw in many other resorts even more expensive, but that is not their fault, climate change. It is still good for snorkeling. If you are a veteran diver (like us) spend some days on local islands to dive in great locations.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating the facility is newly refurbished, clean and beautiful. The reef on the resort had lots of marine life. there is a lot to do. The all inclusive package was a great deal. I would highly recommend Angaga Island resort

My husband and I stayed 7 nights recently for our honeymoon. Angaga resort was absolutely amazing, can not fault them! On top of the most stunning location, the service we received was impeccable!!! The bar staff & restaurant staff treated us superbly, remembering our drink preferences & room number everytime! The sealife was incredible & the spa also! We will definitely be back!!!

Its a small island with wonderful people working in it. I felt safe and cared for at all times and the talks with the employees were really nice. Everyone was always helpful and resolved anything very quickly. Being able to snorkel right in our backyard was the highlight of this trip. The water and sand were all beautiful and the excursions were very fun. Will def come back to Angaga.

Best holiday ever!!!”
We were a big group of 9 people and everyone was over the moon from our stay. The whole team that took care of us was superb and welcoming especially Fayax who was working in the main bar. Honeymoon well spent”
Its a small island which we would love to go back. We stayed in Beach villa 130 and view of sunset was very good. Snorkeling was the best experience we had. Special thanks to Sterlin who made our day by giving lot of time to get comfortable with the gears and then took us for witnessing the beauty of nature. Scuba diving didn't go well for us. Since I had moustache the water was getting into eyemask frequently so gave up after doing the skills as I was very uncomfortable with the water entering into my nose. So its better to trim our moustache or get an eyemask which suits us. We felt little more time of practice in shallow water with gears on before going into 2m depth might have given us some more confidence. Instructor was very friendly & did his best. :) Con: AC is not that good in the beach villa. In the afternoon it gets very hot where I was sweating in the room even with AC at 16C . Wifi connectivity is poor in the rooms. So for making calls better to buy ooredoo sim in airport

Exceptional”
Its an amazing plc if u want to snorekell around the house reef, which has good variety of fishes. We did see turtle, sharks, eagle ray, and variety of fishes. The staff is good and supportive, the drive center has good staff who can help u with snorkeling, the food is very healthy and good, u can always mend it to ur taste by asking and the chef will be happy to do so. We stayed at the water villa, honestly u can choose any property on this island and expect a good private time. As its a small island and it's one kitchen for all, we had taken breakfast and dinner package, going full board would also make sense, the over all priceing is a bit high, but the experience of living in a small island and the variety of fishes around the house reef will make u feel worth every penny, the only thing we felt was not upto the mark was the massage center, this is more of a personal opinion tho. Over all if u like being on a small island this the one to choose and go full board preferably, thanku.
