Exceptional”

Great value for money hotel right on the main strip in Ao Nang - central to everything! No frills and simple rooms - but very comfortable and well maintained. Great Pool and dining for for lunches. Staff super friendly and helpful. Best smoothie shack in Ao Nang right outside the door with decent Family mart right next door. A great base to explore Krabi and Ao Nang

I stayed here 3 nights while in Ao Nang and it was one of the better hotels I stayed at for the price I payed. The hotel has a unique style, the rooms are large, the staff honest and helpful. The swimming pool is definitely one of the better features of the hotel. While it is very close to the touristy area, it doesn't feel so. The rooms look nice and are well equipped. I liked that they provided extra towels to take to the beach. While the rooms were aesthetic and nice looking, the bathrooms not so much and could use some updating. It was a little tit in there, however nothing too restrictive. The hotel is in the center of where the action is in Ao Nang or not too far away. Very close to the water taxi ticket office if you want to go to Railay for example. Now the people - while they don't speak a lot of English, they are helpful and honest. On one occasion, my phone must have slipped out of my pocket while I was in the lounge and the staff held on to it until I came back. Another nice thing about the hotel is that they have a locked luggage room in case you need to check out and go for some excursion that will bring you back after your normal check out time. The staff held on to my valuables while I was gone and everything was in place when I got back from my snorkeling trip. The only major issue I had with the hotel was the Internet. They give you a card with a pass code to use. This is for when you are in your room. You can only have one device connected to the Internet with that passcode. It's gets irritating if you want to connect your phone and your computer at the same time because you cannot. Other than that a good stay overall and I would stay here again.

we planned to stay here for 3 days before moving on to phi phi and phuket. the weather wasnt too great in ao nang but worse elsewhere so we stayed at the best western for 7 days in all. the hotel was quiet and we got a bigger room than we expected. we could see the sea from our balcony. great bed, good bathroom, huge fridge feezer, tv with cable. we spent more time in the room because of the weather but it was very comfortable so that was ok. breakfast is in a restaurant a couple of doors down the street. looks like best western own it. great scrambled egg. the pool area was good and the pool clean. staff were very helpful throughout. room cleaned daily. only issue was reception being a bit cagey about internet and then announcing that we had to pay for it - they even said that the agoda listing was wrong. we simply said that the free wifi was one of the reasons we booked here (which is true) and we were given a card with the password on it. you should hold out for free wifi if refused at first. for the price, this hotel is excellent value.

Best Western hotel review”

I booked this hotel twice with Agoda as I was very pleased with my stay for the first 3 days. After that, we booked an extra 2 days and had to change rooms, the second room was much smaller, darker and noisier, there were people talking to each other across the pool at 2 am, after asking them to please respect peoples need to sleep, they still were yelling and so I had to call reception 3 times before they managed to quieten them down. I would definitely stay there again but would request a room in building 2 which was much larger and quieter. This hotel is very well located, in the hustle and bustle of Ao nang with an array of shops, restaurants, massage parlours and the beach is only across the road. Really good value for money, I would definitely recommend it. I also got a cheaper rate with Agoda than if I would have booked with the hotel upon arrival.

My stay at Anyavee Ban Ao Nang satisfying overall. It’s pretty clean and the pool area is great. The bar across the street plays loud music until 1 am which makes it difficult to sleep.

lovely hotel close to the beach”

i had a lovely stay at this hotel and would have stayed longer if it weren't for the fact that i had previously booked another hotel to stay at as part of a package deal. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was lovely. My aircon switched itself off, but i informed the staff and they fixed it immediately! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. If i am back in the Ao nang area, this hotel will be my first choice.

We love the place! Loved the swimming pool. It has a tour counter where you can book your tours, price is very reasonable. There is an awesome fruit juice stall right beside the resort, we had to cure our thirst at least twice a day, hehe! It is also located very near to the beach and shops and eateries. Definitely a good choice to stay in Ao Nang! LOVE IT!

Strategic Location”

The hotel is a walk away to the beach, situated in the happening street of Ao Nang. Helpful staff indeed, truly friendly. At the lobby, there's this tour booth manned by a lady in hijab, she's very helpful to ensure my logistic needs around Krabi goes smoothly. Pool is okay, same goes to the food serve at the restaurant. Overall, I rate this hotel 3.8.

Value for Money”

Apart from the fact that our room was on the 3rd level and there were only steep stairs to room. (I am not a stairs person). the rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. Location was awesome. Right on the main strip of the Ao Nang Beach area, 5 mins walk from the beach and 10 mins walk from the Ao Nang Night Market, in the centre of the main market area. Helpful Staff.

Great value for reasonable price”

Stayed with 2 children (4 and 2 years old). Very nice and clean hotel at very good location at Ao Nang. Close to boat station, where you can rent a boat to go to islands. We didn't like to swim in the sea, due to jelly fishes, so hotels swimming pool was a good option for us. Personnel at the hotel is friendly and speaks good English, so no problem with communication. Breakfasts are typical, so after 4-5 days, you want more selection, but you can't have it. It is always the same. So I would recommend the hotel management to look at this.

The staff were wonderful and accomodating. Truly genuine and helpful. Made my vacation truly excellent. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Ao Nang. The room was much more spacious than I thought. Just cross the road to the beach, head to the other end if you want to see monkeys! Be careful they don't snatch your wallet or camera!

Walking distance to hot spots in Ao Nang . A Very clean room and quite spacious . The workers were very helpful in every need . However , during my stay , there was a water shortage and it took quite a long time for the hotel to make something about it . After all , this hotel is very excellent for my husband and i to stay in .

Very good”

Anyavee Ban was a great place to stay! It is close to the ferry if you want to go to other islands and there is a bus stop outside that we used to go to the Krabi Night Market. The beds were very comfortable, A/C was great and the breakfast is excellent. I went for massages at the parlour outside beside the ice cream shop and the ladies were wonderful here. I would stay at this place again.

The hotel location is really good as it is close to all the amenities in Ao Nang, bars, restaurants, beach, boot terminal etc. the rooms are set back from the road which means they are quiet from traffic noise although the walls are a bit thin so you can hear what is going on in the rooms either side of your own if they are being loud. The hotel looked as though it was being refurbished when we were there and some of the rooms looked lovely. Ours needed a lick of paint but the room was large, had a fridge, good bathroom, tv and a balcony. Ask reception staff for wifi code if you need it as they do not tell you on check in about it. Pool area was clean and empty and they have life jackets, frisbees, balls, masks and snorkels etc for children. The housekeeping staff can be a tad noisy in the mornings when they seem to watch tv and have breakfast in empty guest rooms.

I paid to much for this hotel. tho i appreciate they gave me large room which has 2 single bed and 1 double bed which is unnecessary for me & my husband at that time. our room has seaview unfortunately it was blocked with trees. the aircond was too noisy. this hotel is only 5 min walk to the Ao Nang beach which is very very very not worth it. if you are planning to go to Krabi, do not stay at Ao Nang. the beach is not worth it. not like in the picture at all. afterall, it was a pleasant visit.

Comfortable, budget hotel”

My stay at Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort was pleasant and positive, the rooms were clean with good air-con and facilities. We walked in from the street to make a last minute booking for the hotel and the receptionist gave us the 'best price' she could. We paid this but whilst we waited a group of men arrived in a similar scenario and were given a cheaper room which wasn't fair.

Excellent location, just a short walk to everything you need in Ao Nang. The room was basic but very comfortable. The pool looked lovely. This hotel is exceptional value for money and look forward to returning soon.
