Best 3-4 Star Hotel in Namba Osaka Japan”

There are alot of 3-4 Star Hotels in Namba but for me APA Hotel Namba-Eki Higashi is the best. It is located just a few hundred meters away from the train station. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area and the food they offer are amazing. The breakfast food they offer for free is also great. The facilities are great and the staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel rate is also very affordable. This is only my first time stay here (I stayed in other hotel nearby before) but because of the great experience, I will surely be coming back.

Fantastic location”

The APA hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Namba-Nankai station which is well-connected to the rest of the city. It took us less than 30min to visit Osaka castle and many other areas. The hotel itself is just a 10-minutes walk to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi and all the other food and shopping districts. Due to its distance, we visited Dotonbori both in the day and night for a different view and feel. :) Hotel room is small but adequate for 2 persons. We did have trouble opening up our luggage though. Otherwise the amenities given are sufficient and room is very very clean. Hotel staff are also helpful and obliged to keep our luggage while we stayed over in Kyoto for the night. All in all, this is a fantastic location due to its close proximity to the station and shopping area.

Exceptional”

Space in Japan is limited. We've upgraded to a regular double room throughout our trip to have some more walking space considering our luggage and this was the only APA hotel that actually gave us a slightly larger room. It was also the cleanest - at the same time, it is also the newest out of all the APA hotels we stayed at. Location-wise, it is two stops from the main Umeda station where all the trains are available including the JR. However, it is in the middle of all the markets, foods, bars, and everyday activities. It's a few blocks away from Dontonbori, the Kuromon Ichiba Market, Shinsaibashisuji shopping street, animate osaka nipponbashi, and the train station which is a large mall itself. It's also two blocks from a Don Quijote. Staff were also extremely nice and helpful during our stay. When it came to directions, taxi services, housekeeping, etc. Highly recommend this APA hotel for the cleanliness, the accommodations, and the location, location, location.

Great Hotel in excellent location”

Rooms are seriously tiny (as with most, if not all APA hotels of this category). Staying as a couple and/or extra luggage will be a challenge as there is hardly any space to open a suitcase, let alone two. Honestly wouldn't recommend it unless you know you can handle such kind of space constraints. Room is meticulously clean. Location is excellent within walking distance to Namba station and many restaurants and bars within 50m around the hotel. Breakfast is decent enough for the hotel category. Many places around the hotel don't open until later in the day, so I would book breakfast at the hotel again. Only let down is there's not even a basic spa facility in the hotel. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Great location close to Namba train station, several markets and Dotonbori”

During my entire Japan journey I stayed in APA hotels only. This one is very well located, clean, and the staffs were very kind, helpful and fluent in English. All the APA Hotels have the same room design and facilities so if you have stayed at one APA Hotel you can expect the same things at another APA one (even the Shampoos and shower gel are the same). I got a room on the 13th floor with great view. For a solo traveler with 1 big suitcase the room was big enough although I have to arrange my stuffs ordinary to gain more space. If you travel with your spouse the rooms are surely too small &tight as there is definitely no space for 2 lugguages. I was quite disappointed with the Ekikita one in Kyoto located next to the Kyoto station though where the staff was not client friendly and I got the worst room of the entire hotel on the 2nd Floor (room no. 206) with window facing to the next building. Luckily the service of this APA was splendid so that I would recommend APA in general.

Location, Location, Location”

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Out of the few other hotel choices I booked, I ultimately picked this due to the location. The price we paid was for the location, it was so convenient to the places we planned to visit - Namba City, Kuromon Market, Sennichimae Doguyasuji Shotengai, and Namba Station. Those places were within 5 minute walking distance, and there are many good eateries around the area as well. The room was tiny though, there was barely enough walking space once we laid out the 2 luggage (25" and 29" in size). There was no space for a cupboard, and they provided a total of 6 hangers hanging on 2 hooks near the entrance. They were generous in providing amenities, the room and toilet were very clean. The hotel seemed to be fully booked at the time we were staying and though we were staying directly opposite the lift lobby, it was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, only because of the superb location and clean facilities.

Great location - walking distance to a lot of restaurants, convenience stores and supermarket and stores. Namba and Nippombashi stations are within 3 - 5 mins by brisk walking away. Complete toiletries, complimentary water, coffee and tea daily. Love it! Really value for money. Room is small, specially the toilet & bath - which is usually the case for this class of hotels in Japan. But since there’s only 2 of us (me and my son) and we’re more on the regular asian size, the double room is ok for us. We’re out most of the day anyway. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again if ever we visit Osaka in the future.

Solo”

I find this hotel is one of the best in terms of comfort, location, cleanliness, breakfast buffet and staff service. It also has good laundry machines and microwave. The location is excellent as it is 10 minutes walk to Nankai airport line station, Namba station, Kuromon market etc. It is also 5 minutes away from Miki, UNIQLO, and shopping mall. There are many choices of restaurants, eateries, seven eleven just steps away. The breakfast buffet has excellent t choices and are very well prepared and presented. I would highly recommend my friends to choose this hotel if they come to Osaka.

good location, good room, good staff”

I spent 3 nights for leisure trip. This hotel located in Namba area . 5 mins walk from exit 5-Nippombashi metro station (elevator) or if you take Rapi:t or nankai airport express to Nankai-Namba station its take 5 mins walk too. (but 15 mins for JR Namba station) . You can reach everything by foot like Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Den Den town and Kuromon Ichiba Market. a lot of shopping places, convenient store and restaurant around. Don Quijote just 1 min! (open 24 hours). I recommended Takashimaya store Namba because 5% off for foreigner and 8%tax refund in store! I stayed in single room - non smoking for 1 person. Comfy bed, good washroom . All facilities are good. Easy to check in and check out.

Perfect place to stay with. If you into foodies and shopping this place is very nice and perfect spot. The room is quite small for 2 big luggages. I’d like to go back again here if ever i will be in Osaka again. Kudos to APA hotel crew theyre very accommodating and they will help you where to go yout destinations. I will really recommend this to all my friends.

Good location,compact , clean and friendly staff”

Location very close to Namba station,Nankai Railway to Airport. Close to shopping street, Kuromo market, Dontoburi. Happening area with a lot of eatery places close by. As all Japan hotel, very small room but functional with a lot of amenities given. Comfort and clean. If you travel out from Osaka for day trip to Nara and Kobe, it will be good location as close to subway and train.

New hotel with great location ”

I stayed 4 nights at a non-smoking twin room on the 11th floor. The room was relatively spacious as Japanese hotel and super clean. As the hotel is quite new, towels & bedsheets were very clean as if they were brand new. Bathroom was very small as expected but designed with high efficiency. Tap water was drinkable and water pressure was awesome! (Plus two complementary water bottles were provided during 4 nights of stay. ) It's very close to Dotombori, Namba station and Kuromon Market. (All within 5min walk) There is 24hr Don Quijote on the left side of main entrance which is less crowded than those 2 other branches in Dotombori.

I love this APA hotel because it is easy to access. the location of this hotel does not far from NANKAI airport rail. Thia APA hotel is near shopping center like Shinsaibashi, and Numba in OSAKA.

Great location, friendly staff, and superb cleanliness”

It's worth checking in. The location is perfect because it takes only 5 minutes to walk to Dotonburi. You don't have to worry about food because there are plenty of restaurants nearby the hotel. They are just around the corner. Also, Nankai Namba Station is very closed to the hotel. Last but not least, the staff are so nice and helpful. If you come to early ahead of the check-in time, they are willing to keep your luggage in the lock room. Btw, dial 7 when you need assistance from the Front desk.

Excellent”

Me and my partner spent 3 nights at this hotel (the second of three APAs we stayed at during our trip). The room is tiny and requires some maneuvering, but that appears to be the standard for budget hotels in Japan. Everything was clean and quite nice. We stayed at a smoking room (my partner smokes, I don't) and it was absolutely fine for someone who is used to the smell of cigarettes. Location was great with good access to public transportation.

Good location. Nearest Nankai namba Station / Namba Subway and Nippombashi Subway.Comfortable travel from kansai airport and come back too. Near kuromon market with Dotonbori . I stay 4 days Hotel cleaning room everyday. However I will come back stay this Hotel sure!! I like This hotel verymuch.

Great stay”

Hotel rooms at normally small in Japan so this is normal but it's clean and the location is near stations and shopping areas. Google maps pointer was messing with us in Osaka so we thought the location was not great when we arrived because its already late and we entered at the back of hotel (google maps fault). There's a lot of ways, road to access this hotel. Anyway my only comment is the air condition is a heater when we stayed here in dec. I came from a tropical country and can't sleep if its hot. Good thing they have a window. We opened it just a little, not too wide for the street noise to bother you. We have a nice own bathroom, sleep wear and daily bottled water and toiletry supplies. Haven't tried bfast and their guest floor but overall I like my stay here.

Location couldn't be better, bars nearby but quiet in the rooms”

Comfortable quiet rooms right in the centre of the action, couldn't be better. Stayed here for 4 days and it felt like a home from home. Really easy to get to everywhere we wanted from here, Namba train station is so well connected and this hotel was on the doorstep of Namba station (people say it's far from the station but it really isn't?)

Good hotel with great location and service”

The room was small just like most hotel's room in japan. We booked 2 non-smoking rooms; cleanliness ok, 1 of our booked room not as clean as other but still ok. The staffs were super kind and helpful. Our check in time was accidentally during osaka's earth quake, so almost all trains stopped that time. Naomi-san agree to refund our money if we still couldnt reach osaka from kyoto (thankfully we didnt have to refund anything) and other staffs being so helpful explaining the way from Namba Station. Location was great, it's in the middle between kuromon market and dotonbori. Plenty of foods and shopping centers! They do have coin laundry at the 2nd floor, but only 2 (1 is just for laundry, 1 can wash and dry) and 1 dryer. So prepare to wait for your turn. Breakfast was ok, same dishes for our 3 nights stay. Overall, it was a pleasant stayed at this hotel
