Exceptional”

Close to Tennoji Station and very accessible to different malls around the area. Room was bigger than the previous APA Hotel I stayed at however, because of the long desk/drawer, I had a hard time opening my luggage. WiFi was stable and fast, there was some noise coming from the trains but it didn’t really bother me. The breakfast was a set meal, with only two options, Western or Japanese. Both are yummy though can be boring once you’ve tried both. I definitely think that I got my money’s worth and will definitely stay there again.

Excellent Location”

Room was small but no prob for me and my husband as we did not have any big bags or luggages. Other than that, loved this hotel for its close proximity to a couple of attractions such as the Tennoji Zoo and Toshiba Tower and it is surrounded by many Malls. There’s a 24 hour Don Quijote store down the same road. The amenities are complete and refilled daily. I would choose APA hotel again if I ever come back for it’s excellent location and cleanliness

Well located hotel that satisfies basic travel needs”

This is our first experience with a property in the APA chain, and we are impressed. It is a basic hotel which feels like it was built with business travellers in mind. So, expect a small room with good basic necessities – clean, comfy bed and clean bathroom with basic toiletries. The location is wonderful. It is accessible by both the underground mall/walkway and an overhead bridge. It is also across the road from Tennoji Park, where there are plenty of modern cafes and western restaurants, all open into the night.

Nice location and low price”

Good location very close to tennoji station walking about 5 minutes , Namba and Osaka Castle station are easy to arrive with JR train, room is small but clean and very nice for sleeping, good price, reception is kind Also if Not speak perfect english but We could understand each other .

Good location”

The hotel is located strategically beside Tennoji Station. Even though the room is really small but it is complete, I’ll stay there again. The only downside is the noise at night from the traffic and train is very loud. Not recommended if you are a light sleeper.

Nice and Comfort Hotel”

I can sleep nicely in this hotel. The staff is so friendly and polite. even tough my room is near with subway line but the sound of the train doesn’t bother me at all (almost cant hear the train sound). Very near with JR and Subway Station. Near shopping mall and near with Gift Store. Definitely will stay here again if i go to osaka again.

Second stay”

This was our second time staying at this hotel. And I am pretty sure we will stay here again if we visit Osaka again. The location is very good if you are looking for good connection to the airport. Supermarkets near the hotel close late.

Standard business traveller hotel”

Great location next to Tennoji Station and several large shopping centres. Tiny but comfortable room. Countless food options very nearby.

Convenient location for anyone in transit and want a short stay”

The location was excellent, we got to spend our last day in Osaka to do a bit of shopping in the nearby malls before we fly out the next day. The JR train station was just across the road and was very easy to get to via the lifts and overpass, saved our day coz we had a fair bit of lugguges with a pram and 2 year old and my mum. Admittedly when we travelled from Kyoto back to Osaka it wasn't easy to travel up the stairs from the subway (at least we didn't see any lift or escalator that would take us to the ground level). I made a mistake of not specifying the requirement of a non smoking room so we got one of the rooms on the smoking level and our room and the sheets stank! Apart from that the room was clean though. We also found there's only warm air but no cold air from the Aircon so we had to open the window when it got too warm in the room. Overall it's good value for money despite my PJ smelled like cigarettes the next day but that was probably due to my mistake and the silly laws that allow people to smoke in door in Japan!

Serviceable, but very pokey room”

An older APA and the room was very small. No complaints if you get it at a reasonable price (like I did). Having a Don Quijote (Donkey) next door is convenient for supplies, and Tennoji Station is across the road.. Hey, it's a business hotel in Japan - you have to manage your expectations accordingly.

Convenient for a couple's first trip in Japan”

Pros - location is near one of Osaka main train stations which makes it easier to catch any train - near airport - Two malls very nearby filled with plenty restaurants. 3 min walking distance - cleaned daily and restocked amenities. Cons -Room is small but it's not too bad for two people. Average Japan hotel room size.

Good location but small room”

We booked our hotel in Osaka at the last minute and most hotels were fully booked. This hotel wouldn't have been my first choice and it was a little pricy but it was one of the cheapest available at the time. The room was a little small for 2 people but we managed. The room was pretty clean and tidy. The wifi was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was tiny and I never tried the food. The best thing about this hotel was the location. It's very close to the MRT and the railway station. There are a few shops and malls nearby. If you plan to go to Osaka for a day or 2 then I think this hotel is ok for longer stays maybe somewhere more comfortable is better. Just make sure you book well in advance.
