Location is very near to the train station”
Our experience was great. The hotel room size is typical with Japan average room sizes but exceptionally clean. Our room is cleaned everyday during our entire stay, which is 5 nights for us. Will surely go back.

The hotel staff is very nice. One of the staff can speak quite good Chinese(putonghua).”
The hotel staff is super nice and helpful. One of the lady can speak Chinese (putonghua) so it’s convenient for Chinese tourists. The hotel is clean but its a bit old. The location is okay but not the best. It’s about 10 mins walk from the station. The railway is just near my room so it’s a bit noisy when the trains start.

Good value for its proximity to the train station, though the walk is a little eerie at night for a solo traveler because it's not along the main street where all the lights and people are (at least it's beside a police station so you know it's safe).

About 15 minutes walk from Toyama station. There is a public bath in this hotel. Can be a bit noisy if the room is facing the railway tracks.

I was staying here with 2 young children below 5 years. Thet were reluctant to approve my stay as they were too worried it will be crowded. After convincing it was fine by checking out the, then only it was approved.

Meet the standard of APA hotel. That's nothing's bad but nothing's impressive. Elevator always smell of cigarette. With a big luggage, this hotel can be quite far, the road along the way is a bit rough. The luggage wheel can fall in the hole of the sewer.

Stayed 2 nights at a semi double room. Cons : On booking it was stated that it allows 2 adult per room but at check in, the hotel staff has some concern as the bed was small and may not be comfortable for 2 adults. (So why was it allowed for booking in the 1st place?) Staff was unable to assist and kept asking us to contact agoda since payment has been made and no further options/advise was provided. Location was a further (10+min)from the train station. (apa toyama villa is closer to train station) Pros: staff was able to assist us to forward our luggage to the next destination (e.g nagano/narita) since we were visiting tateyama alpine route. Able to store luggage at hotel before check in. hotel provided free return toyama city tram ticket. Room is clean and toiletries (comb, tooth brush, facial cotton pad, etc) were all provided.

Very rigid about check in time. Would not let us check in even a few mins earlier. Hotel was about 7 mins walk from train station but seems quite far when dragging our baggage along in the rain. Room was quite small but ok for 1-2 nights stay. No shopping mall close by unless we walk back to the station or take the local tram.

So worried my luggage will give way. No shuttle service provided from hotel to Toyama station. Pay extra to upgrade my beds from double bed to twin bed.

As reviewed by other guests, the hotel was kind of old and could do with some refurbishment. Check-in staff was not very welcoming. Rooms are of typical size in Japan. Onsen was good! Nothing much around the area, nearest food options are at Toyama Station.
