Emporium Suites by Chatrium (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"I stayed in a dozen hotels in Bangkok, this was definitely my favorite. The location is superb, just located besides BTS with easy access to Sukhumvit Soi. With indoor pathways connected to Emporium shopping mall, you don't need to worry where to dine if it's raining outside. I believe this is owned or managed by Japanese, as the hotel and room is very clean according to Japanese standard. The staff is super attentive. I happen to lost my iPhone on Taxi, and staff helped me find the Taxi by their surveillance video within 1 hour. The room is a bit small, and pricey at normal times, but the quality is definitely worth it!! It's a hard pick between Emporium Suites and Marriott in Sukhumvit 24."

Aspira Hana Residence Thong Lor (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"Room was a full 1 bedroom condo type residence. I was a bit worried that the hotel was pet friendly. Did not see a single pet during my 6 day stay. Facility looks brand new and is one of the best 3 star hotels I have stayed at in Bangkok. Rooms are well maintain; Surprised the room came with kitchenette and wash machine. There is no cooking utensils. Basic gym but comes with Sauna. access. Hotel is 5 minutes walk to Thonglor on Soi 23. Only inconvenience is a long distance to the Skytrain (about 1.5 km). You will have to taxi it out or motorbike out. They do have a scheduled Tuktuk service to Skytrain or they will hail a cab for you. Great for the solo traveler who is familiar with the area."

Citadines Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"This is a great little hotel in Sukhumvit, we have stayed here quite a few times now, the location is great because although you are in heart of it all the hotel is 500m up Soi 8 away from Sukhumvit Road so there are no dramas with noise at night and the rree Tuk Tuk will drop you off and pick you up so the 500m isnt really a problem. Breakfast is very basic but you can get good food and fruit on Soi 8 so not really a problem and the hotel is great value even if the rooms are a bit on the small side."

Grand Mercure Bangkok Asoke Residence (SHA Extra Plus)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"This is my preferred Bangkok accommodation, having stayed here on probably ten or more occasions over the past few years. . It has a great location, just a short 400 m leisurely walk to the hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit Road - or alternatively, a leisurely drive on the every 1/2 hour complimentary hotel service tuk tuk. And once you get to Sukhumvit Road you can avail yourself of either the BTS Skytrain or the MTR Underground Train - both of which provide excellent services and can take you to most of the 'must see' tourist spots in Bangkok. The staff are wonderful here and you will always be greeted when coming or going with a very genuine smile and a sawadee - but what attracts me most is the great value for money. By booking assiduously in advance, you can take advantage of some great rates - often for considerably less than AU$100 you can book a 90 square metre fully serviced apartment. The roof-top pool provides very welcome relief on a hot day, and also provides some good views of the ever growing BKK skyline. Why pay twice the price and more for a five star hotel in the Sukhumvit area where the typical room size is 35 - 40 square metres? It just doesn't make sense to me. Both the 70 and 90 square metre apartments come with a fully functioning kitchen (pots and pans / cutlery / crockery, etc), dining room, lounge room, powder room, well appointed bathroom, large bedroom, balcony - and a washing machine. Really, you just can't go wrong! "

Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok (SHA Extra plus)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"I've been visiting Bangkok several times a year since 2014, and Shama Lakeview is always my preferred place to stay. The view of the lake park and Bangkok skyline is amazing, as are the amenities and the staff, who on my most recent stay really went out of their way to make sure I had the perfect room. The open-air pool, gym, and sauna are extra pluses, as they aren't frequently overrun with too many guests in the mornings and evenings, and the free tuk tuk service drops you within a 2-3 minute walk into the Asok/Sukhumvit BTS and Metro stations and shopping at Terminal 21. There is really nothing I'd change about the way this hotel is currently being run. Thank you to all the staff for another great experience."

The Residence on Thonglor by UHG
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
" My original booking with BW Amaranth was canceled by Hotel/Agoda without me being aware and I booked the hotel sitting in the lobby of Amaranth when i was bumped. It was 830 pm and i was so tired and disappointed ..did not have time to check the reviews of The Residence ..all i cared about was getting to a safe place where I could crash and find some place to eat. So I booked in haste and I was not disappointed. What was great about the hotel 1) Location of the hotel- -Family Mart next door . I missed my dinner coz i checked in an around 10 pm and the restaurants closed so could pick up some croissants and chips to eat for my dinner. -Very close to Sukhumvit area where you find best of restaurants to eat. - Opposite a bank- I could get money changed just across the road. - 35 mins from airport during morning hours 2) Room & Service Clean & big rooms Welcoming staff & smiling faces 3) Breakfast Breakfast will make your day with the choices available I'm definitely coming back "

Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok (SHA Extra Plus)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok provides stunning services, such as room services, tuk-tuk services to and fro the nearest BTS station or somewhere around the vicinity, smooth check-in and check-out, fabulous breakfast buffet and such. This is my second stay over at Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok, and i must say, it is very comfortable, very convenient and i will always come back to this Serviced Apartment if i'm back in Bangkok. Not recommended if you're looking for a budget accommodation. Price here is slightly higher than average, but everything is definitely worth spending for. The facilities here are well-maintained, the pool, the steam room and the gym! And, the staffs are very friendly and approachable. Strongly Recommend this place if you're coming with a group of friends or with family. Or even for a honeymoon getaway too!"

Somerset Ekamai Bangkok (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"This hotel has everything you need and the best I ever experienced yet. The hotel has its own common room including a shared kitchen merely outside your room with kitchen essentials, such as: a coffee machine which allows you to help yourself free hot drinks with having to go out to the convenience shop, a microwave, fridge with free water bottles and a large dining table and a TV. The common room also has a balcony to enjoy the view. From staying at this hotel has allowed me experience what a enjoyable customer I got to be. Not only the staffs were always happy to help to carry my luggages to my room but they also went the extra mile in taken my intoxicated friend to her room and called the next morning to check up on her. If I visit Bangkok, I will definitely will be staying again and recommend anyone else who is reading to book at this hotel! I will not forget the staffs caring and professional service and the hotel itself!"

Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor
Sukhumvit,Sukhumvit - View on map
"I used to stay at the Okura Prestige. Their deferred maintenance of the rooms and the overall layout left a lot to be desired. So when I came back to BKK, I decided to book near trendy Thonglor at this hotel. The hotel is situated basically at the entrance of a small quiet Soi that almost dead ends into Thonglor. You can can walk to the end and through to Thonglor via a parking lot. Location is very well situated, a very short walk to the BTS. To get around town you have a lot of options with taxis which were my preferred means of transportation this trip. They could turn down to Rama IV, they could go up through Ekkamai, simple route to Phetchaburi, it's very well situated. You would have issues catching cabs on the right side of the road and have problems going to certain locations if you were staying somewhere like Wireless Rd. Here there is a great balance and you never feel trapped. The serviced apartment room is great. Not the biggest but not short on space. Plenty of storage and there is a washer and dryer that work pretty well in its own closet. The cleaning staff here always do a great job so I try to tip them accordingly. Leave a 100B note on the bed to let them know you appreciate them. The bathroom is well appointed. Rainfall showerhead and marble all over, I would say the only thing missing is a bit more lighting for the vanity mirror. Otherwise, they used Grohe fixtures throughout which shows they care about quality. The kitchenette is nice, there's even a dishwasher. Fridge is large enough, plenty of storage and utensils. Made it feel like home. This hotel has one of the nicest roofbars in BKK. I've been to Sirocco many times, but I like the roofbar here better. It's got great views as this is one of the tallest buildings in the area and the views are 360 degrees and you can really see the Sukhumvit area. There's a lot to do in Thonglor. Right nearby on the corner of Thonglor is one of the best mango sticky rice places in all of Thailand. Down "

"This hotel has to be one of the best in terms of value for money. The rooms are very modern with everything you need for the price you pay. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Not far from the BTS so you can get to all the main areas with ease. If you go to Sukhumvit road from teh hotel and turn right, there is a little Thai restaurant serving all the locals. Delicious food and very cheap. Highly recomend and will be back again"
