Huge clean Apartment”

After extending our stay in Sydney the Quest Apartments were three times the size and at least half the price of the Boutique Hotel that we had stayed in the previous week. We are backpacking so an apartment is a great way to save money on dining out. Even if you are on holiday these apartments are great for a bit of freedom, you have kitchen facilities so can cook as little or as much as you like. The apartment itself is huge with plenty of space and the balcony is a nice little extra. It was very clean and tidy and well maintained with housekeeping everyday like a hotel. The location is ideal for exploring Sydney with Darling Harbour and Chinatown on your doorstep. The laundry facilities are free too which is brilliant. I would recommend these apartments for a variety of travellers to Sydney.

The Location around Chinatown and quite close to Darling Harbour, and Chinese Botanical Garden and also paddy's market....The View from the room not nice but the room quite big including the bathroom, and clean also...and it has kitchen set and living room also...very nice compare to hotel with same size around sydney....i got this room with a very good deal price also from agoda.....so very recommended to stay here, in term of location and place around sydney for vacation...

Great Room Great Location”

The APX Darling Harbour is in a great location, literally 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour. The room was large, the bed large and even a large bathroom. My only issue was room service. The sign on the door said it was daily but after 3 nights we still had not had room service. We don't expect daily clean these days but we eventually ran out of items like soap, dishwashing liquid and coffee. When we saw the cleaners on the 4th day they did a full room clean quickly. I would saty there again dspite this issue.

very convenient hotel”

The hotel is very convenient, located near Darling Harbour and the Market. The studio we had was well equiped: clean with modern furniture, spacious with a king bed, cooking facilities and had a large balcony. This is an ideal hotel if you don't want to pay to much for a nice room in the centre of Sydney. Darling Harbour is just 3 minutes away as well as Chinatown and the Market. So just perfect to discover Sydney!

Friendly staff and great location”

Have just spent 2 nights at the Quest on Dixon, Darling Harbour and loved it. Our Executive Studio was spacious with large screen tv and kitchenette as well as a balcony. The ideal location between Darling Harbour and Chinatown allowed us to walk to all attractions and restaurants, as well as being a short walk to Paddy’s Market and the light rail - perfect for going to the Sydney Fish Market.

I have a very good experience staying here. The staffs were helpful and kind. Room is spacious and extremely clean. Kitchen tools provided with microwave and kettle. The bedding was perfect for my liking. Short walk to darling harbour , townhall station, and light rail near paddys market. It was a bit frustated to drag suitcase from the station to hotel, but still okay. I will stay here again when I visit Sydney next time

Premium location, top value ”

Best value for money in Sydney and still a very comfortable stay in the heart of things. Walking distance to major attractions including Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, the main shopping area, Chinatown and cinemas. Spacious rooms and fantastic sofa with TV that can also swivel to be viewed from the bed. Plus with the kitchenette (including fridge, freezer and kettle) and dining table everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. The chocolates were a yummy touch. Only thing is room was cold (the heater only did so much) and the bed only had thin sheets. Extra blankets for winter would be excellent. Will stay here again. Thank you!!

Great Service, fantastic location.”

I stayed one night with my 8yo son, before heading on a cruise. It's right in the centre of china town & a brief walk to Darling Harbour. We got a taxi from the Airport & he dropped us in China Town & we had to find the hotel ourselves. The entrance is not on a main road & I had difficulty finding it. So I rang the hotel & the staff said they would stand out the front & I saw them in the distance & found our way. The room was very big for the price with mini kitchenette & cutlery etc for 2 people. We didn't have much of a view :( overlooking dumpsters. But they looked after our bags the next day & organised a taxi right out front when we left.

Big room and clean”

Stayed 4 nights here, booked a bit late so it was one of the last places near darling harbour. It's right in Chinatown, and our 2nd floor room faced the street so it got a little noisy at times (especially teens at night), but overall it wasn't too bad. The room (queen bed) was very big for 2 ppl, had a small kitchen area, large balcony, and was clean. Had room service only one day during our stay, but it wasn't a problem. All amenities worked well. Free washer/dryer in the building, too. Staff were nice, only problem was we had to wait a long time to check in upon arrival (all staff had to attend to some emergency). Location is pretty good, short walk to trains, large park, and many restaurants right outside. Overall, a good stay. I'd probably stay here again, especially if the price was a bit lower.

Hard to find, but then good quality room”

The outside frontage does not do justice to this hotel. Once inside, friendly efficient and helpful staff. Clean, nice sized room, with kitchenette facility if desired. No restaurant on site, but extensive easy to peruse menus for all types of food tastes which can be delivered to door, and charged to room. The breakfast packs were a novel idea, good value and enough for allowing that work-till-last-minute activity before heading off to a business day or conference. A small balcony gave a little extra space, but alas no view on at least one side of the hotel. Ideal good value for money for Darling Harbour conferences - only 5min easy walk away. Only negative - hard to find enough light by the comfortable chair to be able to read.

Lovely hotel, close to Darling Harbour ”

we enjoyed our stay at quest apartments, the room was nicely decorated , with a good siz bathroom and comfy bed. we found the location very close to darling harbour , paddys markets, china town, sydney entertainment centre and the city centre. we would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be in among the action but not having to pay a fortune, great value for money!

Wonderful hotel with great service and location”

my partner and i stayed at the quest on darling harbour and absoultely loved our time there. it had lots of space and had a spacious balcony which was good for people watching and having a few drinks. the room was very clean and had a bed and a fold out couch so would have been more then enough space for three people. it was also equipped with a kitchnette including a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy when we wanted to save money and have a quick bite to eat in our room. the location was great. it was in the middle of chinatown and just a short stroll to darling harbour. the staff were very accommodating and ensured that we were taken cared of. we would highly reccommend the quest to friends who are looking for a great place to stay in the sydney cbd.

Great Location in Darling Harbour area!”

Ideally located very near Darling Harbour, just cross the bridge & you're there. Easy access from the train station, just a few meters walk. The staff most esp Navash were very accommodating, we truly appreciate his assistance to us. Housekeeping could use some improvement though. Rooms were cleaned everyday but not that thorough enough. Left some 'trash' & was not cleaned the next day. Area for improvement could be that another safety lock could be added to the doors. Door knobs were of the sturdy kind but felt needed another lock, chain-lock/safety locks could be added. But other than that, will definetely stay here again.

The Apartments are clean and quiet. The location is excellent - close to train station, shopping areas, Darling Harbour, China Town, Haymarket - all in walking distance. It was a very pleasant experience and the staff was helpful and friendly. This was the second time I stayed at Apx Apartments Darling Harbour and will choose this place again and again. Thank you. The nearby Restaurants offered outstanding good food.

this is a well priced hotel close to all the city attractions. 5 min walk to darling harbour and 2 min walk to chinatown. my room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed. room had its own kitchenette and large balcony. this was my second time staying here and i would definitely stay here again.

great location and fantastic sized rooms ”

my daughter and i stayed for seven days. went to the opera house for the ballet. we went to the capitol theatre which is walking distance to see mary poppins. the location to darling harbour and fabulous food of china town made our stay in sydney very memorable.

Top location, excellent staff”

We stayed there for a show at the Entertainment Centre, which is 5 minute walk away. For foodies this is it ! Being in the middle of Chinatown the choices of asian dishes are many and right at the front door of the apartments. Transport is readily available and the Darling Habour Precinct is an easy 15/30 minute stroll away and the Monorail will take you to most of city central. Our unit was spacious with a huge balcony and plenty of seating, a decent size fridge and kitchenette sealed the deal. The staff were friendly and willing to help in anyway they could. We will definately stay there again on our next trip to Sydney.

Apx darling harbour is well located next to central station, close to restaurants and bars and shop They only negative point it's the noise from the street and from they others guests door slammed and people's talking loud.

hotel is in good location close to public transport and china town, darling harbour. basically you can walk to anywhere from the hotel and tourist attractions! i think i'll stay again at this hotel next time when i'm in sydney!
