Great place to relax - staff are extremely kind”
Great stay at Aqua resort, not the cheapest in the village(still very cheap for someone from UK) but good value when you see the other places on offer. Wonderful grounds and indivial cottages all with hot showers and light and airy feel. Owner Den is a lovely guy who offers free drop off and pick up from Pai if you don't want to take the 15 min walk (quite a nice walk). The staff are very nice and we were invited to join them for traditional Thai dinners on 2 occasions. Lovely place and lovely people. Curtains could do with a wash though.

Aqua is amazing! Paradise in Pai.”
Aqua was truly paradise in Pai. Despite it being a little ways from the center of town, Den was always willing to transport you wherever you wanted to go. Renting a scooter or bike was the best choice. Walking is definitely doable for able bodied individuals. The grounds are gorgeous and a retreat in the jungle. Every morning Den and his staff greet you with fresh coffee grown on grounds or local tea. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little resort with lovely scenery”
After booking this resort online, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. I stayed for two days, and spent most of my time by the small but nice pool. The owner of the resort and his sister went out of their way to help me out whenever they could, driving me in and out of town and offering to pick me up. The resort is about a 15 min walk to the main market area -other travellers would walk or you can rent bicycles for about in the city. The room was lovely, a small clean bungalow with a comfortable bed, surrounded by beautiful greenery, a wrap around porch, and comfortably sized bathroom/shower area. There is no food or restaurant, which is the only con I can think of. However, the resort owner was open to letting me use his kitchen and fridge to store/prepare food. You can only purchase water, soft drinks, and beer. Great place for those looking for rest and relaxation!

Nature resort hideaway”
In my opinion, the best place to stay in Pai for those who want to be close to town but not right in town on top of all of the tourists. Not too many young backpackers so it's very quiet. Not an overpriced flashy resort so it's pleasant and affordable. It's a little sanctuary and the staff are so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a budget backpacker place or a luxury 5 star spa- this is not it. But if you are looking for something in between- you won't find better than this.

Lovely bungalow!”
The bungalow and grounds were very cool. It's set in a jungle-like environment. It's a little outside of town so I would recommend renting a motorbike before checking in. I was in the first bungalow and the blinds don't close all the way so at times it was a little awkward but for the most part it was really nice. One of the reasons I selected Aqua was bc it had a pool, however, there's a big community pool right down the street.

we arrived the late t night, the owner seemed very friendly and the barking dog, was in the end a really nice one, i loved the bungalow, the design of it, but it need some fixing outside on the wood panels, some are missing and some are broken, but it was fine for me, the next day we woke up in a beautiful surrounding, palm trees, and a little river, a hangman was waiting in front of the bungalow to relax in. unfortunately there is no food to buy in this resort, but around the corner 5-10 minutes to walk you find some healthy delicious breakfast/launch places,( i recommend to check "the fat cat" and "earth tone"), so no need for aqua resort to serve food. the bungalow is very simple, it includes no shelfs or night tables or wardrobe, if you don´t want your stuff on the floor or in your backpack, don´t book it, we were supposed to stay 3 nights( and i would have liked to stay even longer) but we had to leave next evening, because on the sealing were to ca.20 cm big lizards and my girlfriend got so scared that she wanted to leave,so this is very important, if you don´t like bugs, lizards, big butterflies, frogs and all this stuff don´t go there, the bungalow is not complete close, there is a gap between roof and wall, not water can come in but animals :), if you love nature and don´t mind finding frog and lizards in toilette and room, this place is gorgeous! oh ja and it is something like a 20 minute walk from the centre of psi away, we walked it, but you can rent cheap bike in town for some days or a motorcycle.

Idyllic pavillions arrayed in a casual garden”
Pai is a pretty relaxing place anyway, but Aqua was a delightful refuge away even from the bustle of Pai. I had the luck to have one of the far rooms, at the end of the garden, next to the bamboo fence with the fields beyond. The room was extremely simple but elegant with glazed door panels on 7 sides of the octagon and a comfortable bed with mosquito net at the centre of the room. Good wifi, even at my extreme end of the property, a lovely deck all around the room, excellent for sitting out in the evening. All in all, I loved my 3 nights at Aqua.

lovely & cool place”
I stay a couple of nights in Aqua resort and it's really a nice place !!! The thai owners are delicious, bungalows are cosy (...maybe a cupboard will be a + !!! ), and the garden is just a dream !!! On the contrary of a lot of people, I found the swimming pool very nice too ! Of course it's not a "huge" one but it's enough to have a bath when it's too hot !!! This place is peacefull and for sure, they will see me again !!!

I was touched by the owners passion for nature and architecture. He built the whole place with his own two hands which is very inspiring. Love the gardens , the room design and the outdoor firepit!

A great escape, with just enough luxury ”
It was an amazing get away vaca with the right amount of isolation, but close enough to get to everywhere. Basic, but nice, comfortable beds, and a great guy running it. Pure bliss in Pai! Also check out Earth Tone, a great organic, vegan, vegetarian shop and restraunt!

A Rustic, Peaceful & Relaxing Resort”
You will sure fall in love with the owner, Den, who is ever so friendly & helpful. He would always offer to drive us to & fro the town, regardless of the timing. We were also allowed to use the kitchen which is so clean & do our cooking. Otherwise, the manager, Nong will also be glad to help. If you are an animal lover, you will also love his dog, BoBo, which is so friendly & cute...The hotel surrounding is set in a natural environment so naturally there would be some insects. It is not like what others have written about plenty of mosquitoes because during our 7 days stay, we noticed that the mosquitoes would only appear for about 15 minutes during dusk so just keep the doors closed during that short interval. We were all happy during our stay there, including our 5 year-old son. Will sure be back again.

Really lovely nature bungalow with a great pool”
Only recommended if you can handle life without aircon and sleeping under a mosquito net. If you can, this place is amazing. The grounds are really lush with beautiful tropical plants everywhere. The pool is small but resort quality, with plenty of deck chairs and a hammock. The bungalows are really nice, with a wrap-around porch, surprisingly comfortable bed. There wasn't any food or alcohol being served during our stay, but there's tons in town just a short motorbike ride away.

Great find - an oasis in Pai”
Brilliant find. Around ten pounds a night for a beautiful room / bungalow. Gardens are well designed and pool is very appealing. Owner and staff are so friendly and gave us free traditional Thai dinners on 2 separate occasions. The owner will also run you into / pick you up from town! Great place, very relaxed.

A lovey cottage hotel, nice gardens, Clean pool.”
We'll be back again. A nice place amongst trees and gardens. The pool is great for a short swim and sun bake. Video centre next to the pool with a choice of DVDs. Great coffee at the office. Wi-fi available. A short drive to an amazing choice of restaurants in the town, French breakfast opposite the school. Some numbering of resorts would help, and most definitely a map should be supplied.

:Lovely staff but the hotel was very run down”
The owner was a really nice guy and took us on a day trip out around pai. The hotel was really run down and our cottage has holes in the roof and the floorboards on the decking were rotting away. The bed was also damp and the bathroom looked like it hadn't really been cleaned. The pool was too dirty to swim in but the gardens had been kept beautifully.

Fantastic garden with bungalow a lot of glass buil”
Stayed in a sort of jungel which one of the owners had fixed very nicely. He has green fingers. Outside the farangPai (too much of souvenirplace). We rented mc and drove around very much f.ex china village and many waterfalls. We had no time to go to the biggest one (7 km walking there and back). Pity!!

Lovely bungalow situated in nature!”
It's about a 15 minute walk into town but if you get a bike it's not far at all. Had a nice clean bungalow to my self and bathroom to myself. Great value and awesome if you like listening to the sounds of nature as you fall asleep. Would definitely return!
