First time to stay in this hotel but definitely will be coming back! All staff were very pleasant. On arrival in the room, I had a welcom home cake from them. The room Is very spacious as well. Clean and well maintained. Had father’s day breakfast buffet the next day. Food was okay. Had to complement the manager on that day as he had given us 3 complimentary free breakfast buffets. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with my family!

The lady in the front desk told me that the room we booked was not yet available but was in the process of getting cleaned. She asked for my number and told me that they will call me when it is ready. FYI, We got there around 2-2:30 PM and Check in time is 3 PM. We went to the adjacent mall to pass the time. My husband noticed that it was already 4:30 PM and there was still no calls. By that time, we decided to go back to our hotel. There was a different lady and when I told her the situation she apologized and told me that our room has been ready. I am very disappointed because we have a toddler with us and it would have been convenient if we were able to check in into our room on time. So, I guess the lady that checked me in forgot to inform us.

However not a fan of the way they renovated the pool to be right in front of the restaurant. So when people are having their breakfast/meal, there's such a direct view of people at the pool. Like really in front of it, too near for comfort.

It was a good experience but the reception needs to be a little quick particularly when there's a queue already and should not be reminded about the keycard. Said room would be ready in 10mins but she forgot about issuing us keycards after waiting.

worst service ever experienced”
1. upon arrival in parking no one assisted for our bags 2. first night, ordered room service around 10pm for 2 coke with glass and ice + cheeseburger. 11pm i called guest service and operator for 15mins no one picks up...tried again around 11:30pm still no one picks up, 11:40pm finally someone picksup and says food is already on the way. 11:45pm what arrived is 2 cokes no glass & no ice + cheeseburger that is super dry meat and abit cold. it seems the burger was sitting for a good 30mins before serving thats why it seems cold. 3. second night, 8:30pm ordered chicken hainanese + 2 cokes with glass and ice. food got delivered 9:05pm... we got 2 cokes no ice & glass and the chicken is dry and abit cold...no utensils which is funny how to eat rice and chicken by hand? well to be fair there is utensils somewhere in the cabinet but we had to look for it coz the lady from the operator says they dont serve utensils from room service coz they have utensils in the room.... this is not worth it!

I always love my staycations with Ascott! Myron's can get packed during breakfast and the pool can be a little too cold for the baby, but it's all good. Will most definitely come back. This is my second stay for the year -- and it's just April!

I am puzzled as to why there are no restaurant/bar facilities for lunch and dinner. I realize they cater for convention traffic but while room service is excellent it would be nice to enjoy a drink without having to leave hotel.
