All you want in an affordable hotel in Hong Kong”
I was here for a short stay in Hong Kong with medical-related reasons (about a family member). I came here alone. Hong Kong Island has more areas which are less crowded. Cosmo Hotel is near a residential area, a horse race course and the Causeway Bay- a shopping center area. This place is so accessible. Right in front of the glass door is the bus stop which leads you to 2 MTR stations, Ocean Park bus stop at Admiralty and Central. The hotel provides shuttle hourly to Causeway Bay MTR, important places like Admiralty, HK Convention & Exhibition Center in Wanchai and IFC, where the Airport Express is. Their staff is assisting. Unlike quite a lot of workers in Hong Kong, they have good command of English language. One turn-off is that my room's view is the cemetery beside the hotel. It gives some creeps, though that's quite psychological and biased. However, the hotel area is not part of the overcrowded parts of Hong Kong.

We continue to return to Cosmo Hotel”
This was my third stay at Cosmo. It was also my best in many ways. We arrived on my birthday. Mr. Victor Cheung, Guest Services Manager, was fantastic. He personally delivered a bottle of wine for us and made us feel so welcome. Cosmo Hotel has a great asset in him. Like so many hotels in Hong Kong, the rooms aren't huge, but they are well appointed and we never felt pinched for space. The large windows, which provides great views, help the rooms feel larger. The free shuttles to Causeway Bay - the closest MTR station - and Central/Hong Kong - for catching the Airport Express - are frequent enough. Tip: shuttles pick up at Cosmopolitan Hotel (the sister hotel next door) and they are often packed. Being in the Cosmopolitan's lobby at least 10 minutes before departure would be wise, especially for the Central/HK route. Breakfasts are decent enough (particularly if they're free!), but to be honest, I likely wouldn't pay to eat there. The variety is fine - for our four breakfasts, there was very little duplication of the mains - but the food could often be warmer. But, as everywhere in the hotel, the staff are quite attentive. In-room internet is expensive, but the free wifi in the lobby and on the 5th floor are good alternatives for a little less convenience than in-room access. I have no doubt that we will come back to Cosmo Hotel. For the price and location, it's a solid choice.

Great service”
Our stay was exceptional! There was a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel via hong kong station. Although the driver could be a little more helpful, we were already thankful there was this free shuttle service. As Cosmo Hotel is the sister hotel of Dorsett, staff from Dorsett guided us to our hotel with baggage assistance. Due to the high occupancy rate, we were upgraded to a family room! View was great but when you look down, you can see the whole cemetery albeit there was nothing to be afraid of. All in all, everything was great! Should I be heading back to Wanchai, i'd choose this hotel agian.

Nice little hotel”
a bright, vivacious, modern causeway bay hotel, cosmo hotel benefits from a superb location opposite queen elizabeth stadium and close to the hong kong jockey club. it is also within walking distance of causeway bay's shopping and entertainment district as well as the hong kong stadium, home to international sports events including the rugby sevens' tournament. the hotel is also close to hong kong football club and hong kong island's business district of wan chai.

Cosmo Hotel is one of my favourite places to visit during my business trip. It location is so convenient to meet my customers. The place is strategic. It also provide place to lobbying my customers, which is very essential for me. Over the past 10 years of my travel to Hong Kong, The Cosmo Hotel always be my destination. The price is very good, the service is excellent and the staffs are friendly, it also has a business centre, what more do you need?

Great and memorable experience”
This is my family's third time vacationing in Hong Kong, and this was the very best hotel experience we've had. Check-in was a breeze and we were able to go up to our rooms upon arrival at 10:00 AM. Check-out was also very easy and fuss free. The hotel is non-smoking and this is definitely a plus (although there is an open-air smoking lounge which does not interfere with the ventilation with the rest of the hotel). There is a bus stop literally in front of the hotel which plies an important bus route to the Central bus station where you can get a bus to Ocean Park and to Stanley. The tram stop is only twenty feet away, which route stops at Causeway Bay MTR station so it's also very convenient. We have a triple-occupancy room with a privacy wall separating the third bed and a second half-bathroom. The wifi at the 5th floor lounge was also very fast and free. There's a free self-service coffee/tea bar with fresh fruits available at the lounge as well. The only minor downside to this otherwise great hotel was the breakfast: it wasn't bad per se, but it does not specifically cater to a clientele with an international palate. Although this is not a dealbreaker. It was also easy to communicate with the staff since they speak English. When we return to Hong Kong, we'll be staying at this hotel again.

Good value for modern hotel”
we loved staying at the cosmo. it's immaculately clean and pleasantly decorated. rooms are tiny (just enough room for beds/desk) but i assume this is the norm for hong kong and fine for the price. lovely rooftop terrace with free wifi and free coffee. the location of this hotel is really nice - restaurants are all around and it was easy access to the subway. also across the street from the horse racing track which sounded like a lot fun tho we missed the only race during our stay. check the schedule early if you're interested - 10 hk dollars for entrance. hotel food was expensive (and also must be delivered from sister hotel cosmopolitan) and the bar was always empty.

COSMO Hotel - A GEM in Wan Chai, Hong Kong”
It was a very pleasant stay at Cosmo Hotel. The breakfast is really good, with wide array of food choices that will surely suit your appetite and will give the energy in roaming the city. The staff especially the food servers are commendable. I forgot the tall server who is always on the look for all the guests if they are enjoying the food and checking for all the guests' needs. I actually left a vitamin pack on our table and when he saw it, he immediately gave us a glass of water. They may not be really fluent in English but they really exert effort in understanding the concerns of their guests and respond to them proactively and efficiently. The lobby attendants were also pleasingly nice and is always welcoming for any questions. They also provided us maps of the city including the MTR system map, their shuttle services routes which they provide for free and other important information to tourists. Also, the hotel was really cozy. For its price, I thought it was just a budget hotel. But just upon entering its hotel doors, I know I was about to experience a really relaxing stay. There was no hassle with regard to any of our requests. The rooms were cleaned and fixed every day and all supplies are refurbished for free. The room attendants were always cheerful in their greetings which made us feel of a really warm welcome. We were not treated as any foreign person in their country. Instead, they treated us like regular guests whom they are more than welcome to take care of. The lift was well functioning and it had a 1 year permit stamped on it which made us realize it is checked regularly. They also have 2 entrances, one for the lobby and the restaurant and another for the lift area which really helped in managing the circulation of the just arrived guests and the stay in guests already. Also, the smell of the hotel was really refreshing. Outside it may smell of smoke or food or any other but when you get inside the hotel, you will really feel at home. Since we were

Excellent location reasonable price ”
I stayed here for a business trip and couldn't be more pleased. Hotels on Hong Kong island are so expensive, but the Cosmo manages to be reasonably priced despite the excellent location. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Hong Kong for business.

Excellent Location and Friendly Staff”
Hotel centrally located in the city, minutes walk from MRT and mall. I had a 4 person studio room with breakfast. Room was cozy and no view as the window was unable to open with privacy glass restricting view, but sun as able to enter. Hotel had two bathrooms with one shower which made it perfect for the amount o people we had. Hotel entrance was perfect with modern feel. Hotel staff and bellboy was very friendly and helpful. Hotel provided free hotspot and cell phone for use throughout my stay. Hotel offered free shuttle at sister hotel, 1 minute walk to multiple MRT stations. This was very helpful, especially on rainy days. Hotel breakfast provided a wide range of choices. Hotel provided free WiFi for one device and hotspot free for other devices. Both works well for all devices. Hotel provided a trendy bar for late nights, I believe 8 pm to 2 am, yet room was quiet and refrained from noise. Hotel lacked a pool, business center, although they do provide a computer and allow customers to use their office printer, which was helpful and at no charge. I would recommended this hotel and stay upon my future visits to hong Kong.

The place to be! ”
I'm a regular at Hong Kong and try out different hotels when I travel. Cosmo was a pleasant surprise and happy addition to my favorite places in HK yet. The location is over this nice hilly place which counts for a nice evening walk. not very much at the centre of too much hustle and bustle the staff are polite and very friendly, taking care of your smallest requests! the concierge was fantastic! (thanks for the invaluable food tips!) the room was a nice small neat ensemble with amenities in place I'm definitely going back.. worth every cent

Value for money for short stay”
Stayed here for the fist time in September. I normally stay in the neighborhood close to Happy Valley racetrack. The Cosmo and its big sister the Cosmopolitan are right across the street from the track. The normal placed I've stayed before were either booked or too costly. Chose this as good value for money. Room was small but that's what you expect in Hong Kong. One of my clients said it was hard to park his car in the area. Staff at the front desk and bell stand very helpful in getting taxis and giving advice on best way to travel to Shenzhen for the day.

Cosmo Hotel, Hong Kong”
The Cosmo Hotel, Hong Kong, was OK. We probably would not stay there again. The room is so small. It was only big enough for a bed and one suitcase. Also, a lot of the taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is at or have even heard of it. The location is good and you can walk to lots of shopping and dining. We found ourselves not shopping or dining near the hotel that often. We enjoyed Kowloon more. They have internet at the hotel, but it is just one terminal in the lobby where others can see what u are doing. Besides that, we had a lot of fun in HK and will be back.

Very good location and lovely service”
We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights. The room wasn't enormously big but big enough for two persons to have a relaxing night after busy day exploring Hong Kong. The hotel is very clean and inviting. Employees are very keen to help and very professional. Over our stay at the hotel there was nothing we didn't like about it. It was a great choice for an accommodation in Hong Kong. We will be back again.

Best value, great location.”
This was our first visit to Hong Kong and we enjoyed every minute of it! Room was clean though very basic for an "executive room", beds were very comfortable and although small, the room served us well during our stay. Staff were not the best I have experienced and communication was difficult at times, however we would still strongly consider this hotel in the future. Breakfast was included in our package, selection of foods unfortunately not the greatest but food was generally good. One of the best parts of the entire package was the complimentary use of a 3G smartphone which served as a mobile hotspot wherever we went, meaning we could keep in touch with our family and friends at home more frequently. The location of the hotel worked well for our daily exploring of the city and its various attractions. The hotel is close to MTR stations and bus routes too, and you never need to go too far to find convenience stores or even malls nearby should you need something. Overall I think that The Cosmo Hotel was a good value for money choice for our trip and I would recommend it to anyone travelling on a tighter budget but still wanting good, clean accomodation in a well positioned location.

Good Value”
We travelled back to Hong Kong during the Volcano erruption in Iceland, and all of the hotels were fully booked with the exception of the Cosmo... The rooms are clean and more than adequate. The staff are courteous and helpful. The location is close to food markets, etc. and there is a bus station right out front to make transportation easy.

Great location and lovely hotel”
this hotel is ideally suited to visit all the wonders of hong kong, the only downside to this hotel if i were to be picky, would be the rooms are a little small but because of what hong kong has to offer not much time is spent in the room and it serves its purpose well.
