Great Location and good clean rooms!”
This resort is in an amazing location! Close enough to the action if you want to party and quiet enough if you want to stay in and relax. Phi Phi has a very chilled out atmosphere and that's how the resort feels. Breakfast was a pretty standard buffet you find in all resorts. Only this I can really fault them on is giving us the list of fines (I think this was mentioned in another review) if you lose the key, take towels and all that and no outside guests past 10pm. I felt like I was on schoolies (spring break for the Americans out there). Staff were helpful with our enquiries. Price is steeper than I expected to pay but more places are in Koh Phi Phi but this resort was bug free and as a good a smell as you can get in Thailand. Places might be more expensive but meals are cheaper that Phuket, beer is cheaper and lots of happy hours and specials. I recommend a snorkeling trip too, one of the half day ones! Expect 100 baht for Thai food 60 baht for small beer (Chang) Around 100 baht for a large one Snorkeling costs anywhere between 400-600 for half a day, shop around a bit. They'll take you to Maya bay (from The Beach) amongst some other places everyone else gets taken.

A lovely place to stay”
So happy with our choice of accommodation on Phi Phi Island. The P.P. Palmtrees Resort is smack bang in the middle of the main place and it was lovely. the staff were delightful and the place was very clean. My only complaint was the coffee was the worst I have ever tasted and the tea also bad. Other than that a wonderful choice for anyone.

tranquil hotel in the center of koh phi phi”
i stayed at pp palmtree for four days after originally booking for two days. this hotel is surprisingly quiet for being in a busy area, and it's a nice option for travelers who like to spend some if their time in a bustling town and some of their time relaxing away from the crowds. there are dive shops, restaurants, bars and shops right outside the hotel, making pp palmtree a convenient place to stay while in koh phi phi. the room was very nice and the hotel staff are very helpful. totally with the money!

Nice, centrally located hotel”
We spent 3 nights in Phi Phi Palm tree resort in mid January. We had booked the hotel just a few days in advance, and beccause of the high season was most alternatives fully booked. And - yes - Phi Phi is more expensive than the rest of Thailand, and you can probably get better deals if you book further in advance or choose to go at anotoher time. Still we were happy with the hotel, despite the high prices, and the room standard was higher than we had had earlier on the trip. The location is in the middle of Phi Phi center, but there was no noise beacuse the room headed towards a backyard with a small pool. We had read earlier reviews about the moody pregnant woman before we went and understood instantly who she was, but the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and smiling so it made up for her bad mood Breakfast was good, and the free beach towel arrangement was perfect.

Phi Phi Island”
We stayed 4 nights at PP Palm Tree and had a lovely trip to Phi Phi. We got a room near the pool and we are very satisfied with the room, the breakfast and the location. It is very central but it takes just a couple of minutes to go to either Ton Sai Bay (the pier) or to Lohdalam Beach. We took a long tail boat to Long Beach for 100 Baht each every day which looks like paradise and only takes 5 minutes with the boat. Outside the hotel you have internet places and and a travel agency and a lot of shops. We loved to stay here and we will come back!

Palmtree Suite is worth the stay!”
We stayed at the Palmtree Suite at Phi Phi, it was worth it! For the top suite of a hotel it was actually not pricey at all. With extremely nice furniture, great spa tub, very clean and everything seemed new, nice and roomy and a small private garden balcony for which you can relax and enjoy the sun. Close to Loh Dalum Bay, which was only a short stroll away. Easy access to everywhere in Phi Phi without the hectic buzz of Tonsai Bay.

This was a charming little hotel at a great price.”
This was a great little hotel. I usually stay in more upscale resorts at three times the price so was very pleasantly surprised. P.P. Palmtree was right in the middle of town so it was very convenient for the beaches on either side of Tonsai, for the restaurants and nightlife and for the diving and snorkeling activities. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive and the pool and garden area were pretty although a bit small. I had a problem with my toilet which the staff dealt with right away. Fresh towels were supplied every day in the shape of animals -- rabbits, foxes, elephants -- which I thought was adorable. I may come back to Tonsai do get my diving certification and would definitely stay here again if I do.

Just what I needed...”
I arrived at the port in the pissing rain and was met by a rep from P.P. Palm Tree Resort with a big smile saying "Welcome to Phi Phi'. On arrival the staff looked after everything, showed me to my great looking room with a perfect power-shower to blast off the sweat, balcony, fridge and air-con. Room was very clean, bed was a bit too firm but made for a straight back in the morning! Overall, yes it costs a bit more but well worth the money if you want to go a bit more bling and relax in style then this place is it. Most rooms nearby were about 900 baht if you just want a room but these guys offer a lot more!! Great stay, would definitely stay here again..

Great Hotel on Phi Phi”
We had an absolutely great time at the P.P. Palm Tree Resort. The hotel is centrally located and cloase to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we got was clean and nicely appointed. Not much of a view, but you shouldn't be spending time in you room when your on Phi Phi. The breakfast was buffet style and good. We would definately stay here again.

Great location and lovely rooms”
we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in all. on a previous visit to phi phi i've also stayed in it's sister hotel "phi phi hotel." there are 3 in all. i'd definitely say this is the best of the 3 and at a glance its better located and maintained than casita. the hotel is very clean and although the rooms aren't as modern as other hotels we stayed at in thailand, they are well decorated, clean and spacious. breakfast was great but we mainly stuck to toast and omelettes. the pool was a bit closed in but was clean and looked the part, surrounded by nice grounds and greenery. when we go back to phi phi again next year we're definitely stopping here again

Great!”
This hotel was great and in the middle of the beautiful little lanes of Phi phi. There was no noise from the bars and the room was clear and tidy. For the price it was great. It was a little walk to the beach but it really wasn't a problem beacuse everything in phi phi is so close!! Don't think twice about coming to this little island! I would move there in a blink of an eye! The beautiful bay and the glass like sea is out of this world! The water is so hot its like you are bathing! A great hotel, a great stop and a great island...we missed it as soon as we left

Great stay!”
We stayed at P.P. Palm Tree Resort in November 2009 and overall it was a great place to stay. The hotel staff organised our Phi Phi Lei tour without a fuss and even lent us her snorkling gear for free! The hotel is in a very central location and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast is limited but still has a decent selection.

Good for central Phi Phi. ”
Good for central Phi Phi. There are more expensive resorts near or on the water, so if that’s what you’re wanting, this resort won’t do. But if you want a resort in Phi Phi close to restaurants and bars then this is a good choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We stayed 3 nights at the end of high season. Because the hotel was not full we had breakfast buffet 1 morning and order eggs and continental breakfast the other 2 mornings. This was ok for us. We had a pool access room that made the stay more enjoyable. Overall was good experience.

Proper resort right in the middle of Koh Phi Phi”
Unlike a lot of the Koh Phi Phi resorts, this is right in the middle of the everything, which could either be good or bad (for us, it was good). Despite the location, we didn't have any issues with noise, though. As for the hotel itself, it is surprisingly nice. The rooms are very well equipped. Although we didn't take advantage, the pool looked very nice as well. The breakfast buffet is above average, too.

Decent hotel right in the middle of the action”
we found p.p palm tree resort to be a great little hotel. the hotel is situated right in the middle of the village, a moments walk from all of the bars, shops restaurants etc and very close to the pier. the hotel seems like an oasis in the middle of the busy streets. it's not a big hotel but it is very clean and our room was smartly decorated and furnished with a balcony overlooking the pool. the pool and garden area was very nicely laid out, clean, well kept. the room wasn't that big but plenty enough for what we needed as on phi phi you really don't need to spend much time in your hotel as there's so much to see & do. we'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location, close to the action, mid-market prices but better than mid-market in terms of cleanliness, decor, facilities etc.

Gem in the Heart of Phi Phi”
This hotel is situated in the centre of Phi Phi, however the noise of all the partying from Tonsai cannot be heard at night, perfect if you want to be a short walk from everything, but still get a good night's sleep. The hotel rooms are elegant and beautiful, overlooking the pool in the centre of the complex. There is a centralised system of air conditioning and lighting within the room, so everything is at the touch of a button next to your bed. The staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation of recommending this hotel to anyone, we will definitely be staying there again in the future. If you get a chance to stay there, please say hello to the resident stray kitty there and feed her some ham at breakfast time in the morning. She is a lovely natured cat and has 5 small kittens that she is currently feeding, she will give you lots of affection in return :)

Friendly & Clean Hotel in the heart of Phi Phi”
this hotel is located right in the heart of phi phi don island, amongst a number of shops and restaurants, and yet we could not hear much of the noise outside. anywhere you want to go on the island is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel which is great. the double deluxe room we stayed was beautiful (mid-range) comfortable and very clean. room was spacious and came with all neccessities - safety box, fridge, tv etc. pool front rooms were lovely too, with direct access to the beautiful pool area from the balcony. staff were very friendly although there was no tour desk or assistance with booking activities (which wasn't missed much, as phi phi island is quite small and there is a huge range of shops/tours/activities you can visit and book yourself). breakfast selection was better than most other hotels we have stayed, and there is a great selection of restaurants within 20 metres of the hotel. the hotel is not beachfront, but our room had balcony with nice views of the landscaped pool area. it is located away from the beachfront nightclubs so there is not too much noise at night. in short, this hotel is a comfortable and clean place for couples or families.

Pleasantly Surprised”
after reading some of the reviews posted on this site, i was somewhat hesitant about booking here due to some of the comments regarding the staff and hotel policies. our boat to phi phi was cancelled on the day we were to travel and no other boats were available due to high waves. i called agoda fully expecting to lose the cost for the first night. the hotel surprisingly offered me a choice of a refund for the missed night or an extra day to compensate for the one we missed. the staff was wonderful for the entire stay. rooms were clean and as advertised. breakfast was average. i have stayed at a number of hotels on phi phi and will definitely return here.

Great Location, Nice Stay”
We stayed at the PP Palm Tree Resort for two days, the hotel was maintained and the rooms were spacious and clean and had great views of the pool in the interior of the hotel. The hotel is right within a couple minute walk of all the Phi Phi night life, however, was quiet when we wanted to sleep. Only downside is that one of the front desk receptionists was not friendly at all and seemed to hold a grudge against us that we got a better deal on Agoda then booking straight through the hotel. Breakfasts were great and varied from a buffet to sit down service. All in all, it was a good stay.
