Great staff with cozy rooms.”
The Phi Phi Andaman Legacy is probably the nicest resort I have seen on Phi Phi, within walking distance of town. I traveled for a SCUBA holiday and am old enough to not want to be in the midst of late, drunken filled nights. The Andaman Legacy kept me at arms length from the throngs of early 20-somethings looking for a party. The mix of clientele at the Andaman Legacy tended to be primarily early 30-something couples with kids and older couples looking for peace and quiet. The bungalow was not too frilly - a bed, mini fridge, TV/DVD, A/C, shower/toilet room, in-room safe, free wi-fi, breakfast and 2 bottles of water daily. 24 hour front desk staff are available to help any time of day. Located next to Hippies Bar and restaurant, which gets loud late night and the Mosque, which can cause an earlier than expected wake up call. From my room, I could hear both, but I would wear myself out during the Amy that the bar music lulled me to sleep and am a heavy enough sleeper, the Mosque's 5 a.m. prayers didn't awaken me. The staff will check out pool/beach towels, which makes having to pack extras non-essential. If you arrive early or check out late, the staff will store your bags and aide you back to the pier.

Quiet, convenient, recommended stay for Phi Phi Don”
If you’re after a more relaxing stay on Phi Phi Don, this is the hotel for you. It’s on the quieter side of the island but no further away from the many bars and restaurants on offer in the centre. We stayed for 4 nights and had a high view garden room and it was perfect. Views of the sea and the resort and had ZERO mosquito problems as I’ve seen in other reviews. If you want a nice beach I’d definitely recommend the short trek to Long Beach and taxi back for 100baht pp. The beach at this end is quiet but sea is not as clear. The best to come out of our stay was reception recommending the taxi service around the corner from the hotel when I asked about private longtail boat hire. Ask for Don - he was fantastic! Did two private boat trips with him to Maya Bay and with friends around Phi Phi Don! The only thing that let the stay down was the bad shower (all the rooms need is to replace the shower heads) also the WiFi isn’t great in the rooms but then again you don’t come away for the WiFi! Other than that it suited our stay to a tee and would definitely stay here again if we are ever back on this beautiful island.

The Manager, Ms Preeda was always smiling and is very helpful. I would defintely stay here in my next visit to Koh Phi Phi. Keep up the good work,Ms Preeda.

Nice hotel in a quiet location”
We were very satisfied with our stay here! Initially we were concerned about noise on Koh Phi Phi, as we are not the partying types, and all fears were allayed at this resort! Our room was in the hotel (not the bungalows)-- very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Also, even though it is verrrry near a mosque, it was incredibly quiet even during call to prayer. This being said, it's not in the middle of everything. It's probably about a 10 minute walk to/from the terminal. By the way, there's a free luggage transfer from the dock to the hotel (just look for someone holding a sign w/ the hotel's name). The room and bathroom were clean. A/C was nice and cold, very efficient. The balcony was small but nice for 2 people. The railing was quite low (for my Western standards, I guess)-- I would be cautious about letting children or people who'd been drinking out on the balcony! We had problems with our TV one night, and within 5 minutes of our contacting the front desk, a gentleman was at our door to fix the TV. Breakfast is served outside under a cabana. Typical food (Western/Australian breakfast). Pool seemed small, but we didn't use it. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Great location”
we stayed at the andaman legacy hotel for five nights during the middle of november 2012. our room was on the 2nd (top) floor of the hotel block and looked out over the gardens situated in the middle of the hotel grounds. the gardens were well kept - lots of greenery, ponds, & palm trees. there are a few cats that roam the hotel - however, there are a lot of cats around the whole of phi phi! they're quite cute and don't bother you. our room had a tv, mini bar (quite cheap), air conditioning and balcony. the bathroom contained a shower only and not a high tech one - but it did its job. breakfast is served outdoors in the middle of the gardens next to the swimming pool. you are seated under a roof, so you're not totally exposed to the sun/showers. breakfast was buffet style with someone to cook eggs for you any style you requested. breakfast was pretty much the same each day and consisted of a choice of cereal (musely, corns flakes, bran flakes), rice, noodles, smoked sausage, cheese and ham. also, waffles, fruit (pineapple and watermelon) along with fruit juice & tea or coffee. the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the pier. we were met by hotel staff on the pier. they led us to the hotel & carried out bags for us on their trolly. there are no roads on phi phi, just a lot of footpaths. so main forms of transport are (obviously) on foot, or on bike. keep your wits about you as there are plenty of people cycling around who will ring their bell continuously in order to make their way through the crowds! all the island hotels seem to send a representative to the piers to pick their clients up, but there are also people offering rooms for those travellers who are just booking on arrival. its about a 10-15 minute walk through the maze of streets to the big beach. it can take some getting used to making your way through the streets, but there are plenty of signs directing you to the beach or the bars on the beach, so you will get there.

Great location on Ton Sai”
I found this bungalow hotel when i arrived on Phi Phi Island. It is on the "cleaner" and more quite part of Phi Phi,close to Ton Sai beach. At a first look,i loved everything about it...it is like a mini town with all you need, restaurant,a coffee shop, reggae bar etc. I was welcomed at the service desk by very friendly and professional staff.I checked in and was guided to my bungalow which at first sight was very appealing. When left alone and looking around,to my suprise i saw at least 3 cockroaches. The bathroom was of pure concrete and looked unfinished, nor painted or had tiles on.Ants were all over the place.I even found bed bugs which terrified me. I had to call the staff in so they could see it and do something about it. They were extremely helpful, even the day after. To sum this up,this was a pricy place for what was offered. The coffee shop is the best this resort has to offer so far,the best coffee and service in all Phi Phi. Nice staff at the reggae bar as well👍

Good family accommodation which is hard to find!!!”
We were only on the island for one night and two days, and the Andaman Legacy was perfect. Having come from laid back Koh Lanta, we definitely noticed the party vibe of Phi Phi and enjoyed checking out the craziness on the beach in the earlier evening. The hotel just the perfect distance from town and there are shops lining the sides of every street! Our daughter jammed with some local street musicians just around the corner from the hotel - super friendly locals and a cool vibe! Wifi was not reliable in the rooms but was ok in the main sitting areas. We thought the breakfast buffet was great...omelet station even! We didn't use the pool as we were just too busy but it looked clean and inviting! We researched for way too long to find the right place at the right price. In the end we almost didn't go to the island, but decided to pay a bit more and stay at the Andaman Legacy. Great decision, we had a really good time!

Clean. Fresh. Nice pool”
Was picked up at the pier (without having to ask for it in forehand) and a guy tok all the bags on a trolley to the hotell, about 10-15 minutes walk. Was welcomed with a cold drink and a cold towel. The room was spasious and very well cleaned. A small balcony facing 'outward' from the hotel area - no view to talk about, just some dirty backyards. Well working aircon. Fridge in room, but you could'nt really use it because the power (and therefore the cold) was turned off when you took your key out of the holder. Wifi a bit on and off, but worked well most of the time. The bed was big and comfy and I had a good nights sleep, don't understand other complaints about the moske, I didn' here it unless I was awake and outside (and the house wich my room were located in was lying next to it. Poolarea is nice but I would have like to have it a bit more in closed, so that you wasn't bothered by other people walking by on the street. Pool it self was big and clean. Ok breakfast buffet with omelett on demand. Good location, near to restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. And it is on the quiet side of Phi Phi, so you're not getting disturbed by partys all night long. Had a really pleasant stay and would come back.

A great 3-star hotel”
We only stayed here for one night so that we could have a little explore on Koh Phi Phi. It is a basic hotel, but it is clean, comfortable and the pool is really nice! It was a good and well-priced option compared to its competitors. The location is pretty good - I had been to the island before and we chose it to be away from all the loud beach bars.

Great location, nice rooms and friendly staff”
I stayed at Phi Phi Andaman Legacy Resort for 2 nights. The lady who checked me in was lovely. Everytime she saw me during my time there she gave me a big smile and welcome. Great location, nice swimming pool and the breakfast was good. Easy 10 minute walk down to the ferry wharf. A staff member met me when I arrived and took my bag on a trolley to the resort and also when I left, took my bag back and showed me the right ferry to get on.

Great Hotel, Would stay again”
From the moment we arrived after a 22 hour journey from Kanchanaburi we felt welcome, the staff greeted us with cold towels and grape juice, which at Mid-day is accepted instantly. Shown to out room and everything was fine, the rooms was a standard twin and basically what you would expect from one. The location is far enough from the party beach that you can get some sleep if thats what you want and close enough so that you can walk there in around 5 minutes. Very close to stores and other restaurants. If i go back to Phi-Phi on a holiday i would probably stay here again.

Great”
Koh Phi Phi is a must see island, amazing view at the beaches and from the top viewpoint. The hotel was great, with a nice garden and swimming pool. It was clean, staff was very friendly. Location is a bit further from the pier, but this makes the place quiet, still not far from dining facilities and nightlife. Great experience overall.

What a beautiful place”
having visited phi phi last year, knew would have a problem with noise but found this hotel simply using the recommendation from agoda and was beautiful, you were close enough to the amenities but far enough away that there was no noise pollution, the staff were always very helful, remembered your name, rooms were lovely, best night sleep, intended to stay 3 days but ended up 5 days and would be happy to have stayed for more. would highly recommend and would stay again.

Nice island with very good beaches ”
Stayed here for 2 nights. Had a very good time. The hotel had arranged for a porter to pickup our bags and carry them in his handcart from the pier to the hotel. About 15-20 min walk. The hotel is close to the Tong sai beach center as well as other small beaches along the Tong Sai bay. Long beach is 25 mins walk from the hotel. The location is such that it is a bit further from the hustling Phi Phi Don town center, thus quieter, and yet only 15 min walk to the pier. The breakfast was average. Only wish if it was a bit cheaper, but I guess all hotels in Phi Phi are slightly expensive compared to those in Phuket :)

Lovely hotel with the most friendly staff”
one of the best staffs i've experienced at a hotel! friendly, very helpful and always willing to be of service. it was my first time on phi phi and this hotel just allowed me to love the island. the breakfasts were always delicious and offered a good selection. the pool was a bit warm and possibly an overabundance of chemicals, but otherwise a pleasant diversion. plenty of chairs for use. good air conditioning, too.

Quiet good. But moist ”
The place is quiet outstanding compare with a lot of other phi phi hotel resort. The room was spacial and clean. But some how very moist. The bed sheet and bed are always moist and wetty . The tile in the bath room was cheap made. Over roll good. But the whole phi phi trip was bad for me and my mate. Beach was dirty, and all price in phi phi are a bit over change plus a lot of scamming

good location for Phi Phi”
place was pretty good, staff friendly, quiet side of town, 10 minutes to long beach or tonsai bay. Phi Phi is quite overcrowded and dirty which we didn't know, wouldnt have stayed 4 nights there if we had known this, 2-3 would have been ideal. Breakfast was just ok, and the mountain view, not so good, cuz it is really a view of the shacks in the back yard that the locals live..would reccomend this hotel for this island its pretty nice

Nice place for short stay”
This was a nice place if you are staying in Koh Phi Phi for a shorter time. We had a bungalow that was nice and clean. Only negative about the location was that there was mosque really near by that had prayers at different times of the day (And night). Woke up in the middle of the night because of it. Was no big problem, but that was a minus for me. We had included breakfast, this was not good. The only positive was that they had toast and strawberryjam. Nice pool area and nice staff. I see that a lot of people have had bad experience with the staff, but we were lucky and met a really nice lady. all in all a good place to stay in Koh Phi Phi.
