Can't get closer to the border than this!”
My friend and I took a trip for some shopping at the Rongklua Market at the Thai/Kampucha border and decided to stay the night rather than drive four hours back home after a long day's shopping. This hotel is new, clean, and for the price you can't beat it. It has plenty of secure parking as well which is the one criteria I must have as I always take my truck. The staff are efficient though not sure of their English skills as I only spoke Thai with them. The only drawback is the surrounding area is desolate at night so you'll need to drive 5km back into Aranyaprathet for dinner, etc. as there is nothing near the hotel that we found suitable. In all, I'll stay again should the need arise to head that way someday. Great value - I fully recommend it - and for sure always book with Agoda for the best rates!!

Great location, excellent hotel for short stay”
verry close to the border,it's not more then 100 m walking and you can cross the border, into cambodia.if you here the first time, get advice the day before, because the signs are verry poor, but most people are verry helpfull.actualy i have no comments for this hotel,it is brand new and all rooms are word there money.there was no hot water during my stay, wich was not a problem for me,but if you wont some negative point, there you have one.my purpose was to stay overnight before crossing the border, because i traveled already from pattaya to arranyaprathet.the hotel is quit at night and evening, but early in the morning ( 7-8 oclock) noice start, from border crossers.

Perfect location”
This is closer to the border than you might think, which is ideal when the purpose of your stay is in fact to cross the border to or from Cambodia. "Walking distance" here means about 20 meters, so you can just pack your bags in the morning and walk to the border. Very nice rooms with well working air condition and nice beds and bathroom. No actual restaurant, a small cafeteria though, and a few thai dish options on a menu and the possibility to order breakfast. The hotel is new, which you can tell, and parts of it were still under construction. If you're staying one night for the purpose of border crossing, this shouldn't bother you though. Upon arrival the staff spoke perfectly good english, but the one who was working in the morning did not.

THE BEST”
Just a few walks away from the border. U wouldnt expect it to be that near after you have gone through a messed up border (am talking about Cambodia Border and their bribery practice). The room is just nice for a stopover to catch a morning train to bangkok. Tuktuk can be found easily outside of the hotel. There is a 7eleven behind the hotel and few shops too. P/s: 500baht is charged for deposit and will be given back after you check out. Overall, I had a great stay!

At Border Hotel is At Border”
The name of the hotel is perfectly accurate. It's literally in front of you once you are past the professional Thai immigration and customs, and a huge sigh of relief after going through Poipet border at night with officials charging you unknown fees. The hotel room is big and clean, and with easy access to some street food and a 7 Eleven behind the Ban Klong Luk railway station. There is also a Star Plaza mall in front of the hotel but I didn't explore it.

unbelievably convenient for visa run”
Very firm Thai style mattress and tasteful decor. The Agoda listing says there is massage when in fact they do not have massage. The room was very comfortable for the night and when they say at the border it really is at the border, coming from Cambodia through Thai passport control and past customs and then there is the hotel, super easy. In the morning when I went back to Cambodia the passport control was less than 1 minute walk. There is a 7-11 very near the hotel.

convenient for crossing the border”
We were looking for a place we could leave our car safely for a few days while we were in Cambodia. This hotel is right at the border, has secure parking and is quite new and well-appointed. It was perfect for an overnight stay, although food options in the area are limited to market stalls. Also, the building seems to have very little soundproofing as we could hear every other guest coming in, opening and closing doors and walking down the halls.

Great location to cross border, very comfortable”
Great, 30 second walk from border, arrived in evening from bangkok, stayed night and crossed border in the morning hassle free. nobody approached us for any scams because it was so early. Would recommend bringing food from bangkok if you dont like what the seven eleven has to offer because thats the only "shop" on this side of border. Would recommend paying for taxi (4seats) at bus station on cambodia side at this early hour as you will be a Long time waiting for more poeple to share a taxi or mini bus, say before 12 noon.

Convenient location, Clean, and Cheap ”
It's very close to Rong Klua Market. If you like shopping, it's the one for you. The room was clean. The internet was fast. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The parking space is convenient. But don't forget to get the parking ticket stamped from the hotel staff, otherwise you will have to pay for the parking because the hotel shares the parking space with an agency. In the morning, it was a bit noisy because it's right next to the border crossing point where Thais and Cambodians do the trading.

Affordable and convenient...”
It is very near the border, market and mall. Very affordable and clean. I recommend this hotel if you plan to buy stuff in the market or cross the Cambodian border to gamble in the border casino.

Can't beat the location”
At border hotel.. not kidding. Mere steps from immigration and market. Facilities as expected for the price, nice TV, no fridge, decent size rooms and clean.

just what you need when crossing the border”
Stayed here only one night on the way to ankor wat in the best possible place to walk striaght across the border to cambodia and avoid a lot of the touts there staff helpful and efficient. Brand new rooms clean and a reasonable size ,if driving yourself theres a car park on the back of the hotel that you can leave your car for a few days ( for a small fee) if crossing the border . Would stay there again if going back to Cambodia by this border crossing and good value for money

Good and Fun”
Nice and clean big room. Location is very close to Cambodia border with Thailand. And Tutu Taxi is around 80THB from Aran Railway station. Lots of local food stores. The soft drinks and snacks offer at the hotel is very reasonable. So you do not need to go out at night. As after 7pm there are practically no people on the street leading to the border.

great for the market and the visa run”
The hotel is ideal for a stop over if you have to make the dreaded visa run or would like to indulge in some serious shopping on the vast aran market. I have visited the chatachac market, but i find this market bigger and much more reasonable.I took the advice of a previous poster and made the border crossing at 7am. Excellent idea, quick, [45mins] and hassle free. Thank you. The only criticism i would have of the hotel is that the internet does not work in the rooms [as previous posters have pointed out] and that there is no fridge in the room, which in this climate i find essential.

Simple Yet Clean”
RIGHT BY THE BORDER. Closest business (hotel, restuarant, etc.) to the border. Clean, and good enough for rest between border crossing.

Sensible choice for border crossing”
This place is literally 100 metres from the border crossing. I got up in the morning and did the crossing in less than 30 minutes (probably best to ensure you have onward travel plans once you are across or you could be the only tourist for a few hours). I would not walk around this place at night. It is a comfortable bed so lock the door and get some sleep. It is a 48 baht train journey from Bangkok to the border town + 150ish baht tuk tuk from train station to the hotel.

Clean, comfortable room. Close to border.”
My girlfriend and I were traveling to Siam Reap from Phuket, Thailand. We decided to stop and rest at the border to break up our travel time. At Border hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel was definitely worth the price (around $15 USD with Agoda). The room was clean; the bed was comfortable; the bathroom clean and working properly. I would recommend the hotel to friends.

Great location ”
Great location right next to border , makes crossing into Cambodia a lot easier as you can beat the crowds and the scammers, but after 7pm the place is very boring nothing around at all

More Than Expected”
For the price , this hotel is an ideal place if you want to stay walking distance from Cambodia -Thailand border , as well as walking distance from bus stop from Bangkok...
