Amazing value for money”
This hotel is very good value for money and already cheap price include breakfast. The hotel is located near city center and you can walk to the city center or you can also use public transport. Rooms are nice and clean. Some rooms are facing hotel inner are (i stayed in one of those) and some are having street view. Hotel is very quiet and i can highly recommend it.

Very appealing.”
Just stayed for 4 nights with the missus...nice hotel, no frills, the room was spacious with very good aircon, the bathroom was nicely tiled and very clean, the actual shower unit was small, not good for anyone over 6”, if you dropped the shower gel good luck picking it back up....the breakfast was served from 7 till 10 , ok no English breakfast but the continental was very good, the breakfast rolls were the best rolls I’ve ever had...the coffee though is very poor. Its quite away to the main drag(riverside) but a nice 40 min walk, with cafes, bars and shops to keep you amused on the way...i would definitely stay at the atlantic hotel again and would recommend this place to any kind of clientele. Good for value hotel close to public transport”
The hotel is good for city exploration of Budapest if you are looking for a budget hotel, just above the level of hostels. The rooms are spacious and has decent facilities, the Wifi can be temperamental, but the breakfast is good. The only real downside is that the neighbourhood the hotel is situated in gets rough at night time, when you return to the hotel from a whole day of Budapest tourism it is abit disturbing to avoid drunk and homeless people that litter the streets. Otherwise, we really enjoyed Budapest with a good deal!

Solid hotel in Budapest neighborhood”
Price was good. Room was large. Had tv and refrigerator. Bathroom shower was small with lots of hot water. TV only had Hungarian spoken programs. Breakfast was disappointing with luncheon type meats, hard boiled eggs, but good variety of breads. Front desk workers provided excellent service. Was about 10-15 minute walk from main city centre with variety of businesses. Grocery store only 2 minutes away.

Great value for money”
I enjoy my stay in the hotel. Hotel is great value for money. It is quite cheap yet rooms are comfy and staff is very helpful. I am not saying it is the most beautiful hotel, but you get definitely more than you pay for.

Not to bad”
The hotel is situated close to centre or if you don't like to walk it's the underground very close. The staff I came across nice, not to many smilles, but ok. The room, like old communist rooms, very old TV with just Hungarians programmes, not internet in room, I had to go on the corridor to use the hotel's wireless . Breakfast was basic. If I will go back to Budapest probably I will try another hotel.

You get what you pay for, but don't expect too much!”
With a sense of humour and without expectation you can survive 1 - 2 nights here if you are so price sensitive. Positive facts: If you pick a room not facing the busy street but the inner courtyard and you are lucky with your neighbours you could have a quiet night here. You could also have an acceptable breakfast here for the price you paid. The location is ok as well since Metro line 4 has a station approximately 200 metres away and another 200 metres and you find yourself at Blaha Lujza tér with endless possibilities to access the public transport network. ( Big metro-tram-bus junction.) Negative facts: paper thin walls, partly working electric system - took some time to find a working reading lamp in the entire hotel - lack of maintenance, very basic choice for breakfast considering average Hungarian standards. Good luck!

The location is its best quality got”
The tea/coffee in the rooms for us as British travellers was useless we got 2 strawberry tea bags no milk pods no spoons . The breakfast was ok not what are used to but ok. We watched in amazement at some people as they ate cereal and cheese sandwiches followed with gherkins hard boiled eggs tomatoes and garlic sausage and other stuff

Average hotel at a good price”
The room was big enough with a big wardrobe, a fridge and an electric kettle (cups and glasses + sugar and tea provided, no coffee unfortunately). The room was heated properly, maybe too much but there was also AC, which I used to cool the place a bit. The window faced the roofed inner yard so it did not make much sense to leave it open. The bathroom was big enough but more toiletries could have been offered. Splendid and rich breakfast served between 7.00 and 10.00. About two minute ´s walk from the II. János Pál pápa tér Metro station (Pope John Paul II Square metro station) on line M4.

fair”
the staff there are nice and friendly, the location is fair, but the breakfast is boring, TV has very little English channels. Overall, an ordinary hotel, but good price. OK

All good”
Could imagine the area may be a little intimidating for some. The hotel itself is fine. Near metro and next to a tramstop.

fair value, functional hotel”
fairly average hotel in a slightly run down area, but close to shops & attractions. Room was fairly noisy being on a street with a tram-line running down it, so not brilliant for a lie in. Area is fairly poor but as others have pointed out seems safe enough. Booking in wasn't possible until 4pm which seems late, but this seems to reflect the large size of the hotel.

Avarage hotel ”
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Furnishing is old. And breakfast is insufficient. You can use parking lot for 5 euro per day.

internet mostly didn't work”
Internet mostly didn't work. Maids didn't clean the room during stay. Parking available, which is nice, for a nominal fee. Breakfast selection very decent. Beds comfortable. Location is in a bit of a run-down area, but not bad. Probably would not recommend.
