Good value, I would stay there again”
Clean room, great western style with sufficient space to comfortably move around. The bathroom had good counter space for toiletries. The shower water pressure was fantastic. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The hotel is attached to a covered mall area with shops and restaurants. The walk to the canal was about 5 to 10 minutes away. Great place to stay!

Location is excellent. It's located close to JR station, Otaru Canal and Sakaimachidori. Room is clean, spacious, comfortable and new. Hotel staffs are friendly and their hospitality is definitely top notch. Definitely a hotel to consider for a comfortable and convenience stay.

Very Comfortable Stay at Authent Otaru”
Excellent location, very close to almost everything in Otaru including Otaru Canal, Otaru Station and Sakaimachi Dori. Authent's staff were very friendly and helpful, and I mean all of them, from housekeeping, restaurant, front desk and concierge. So, thank you very much for that. Room was very comfortable and we can control the temperature. Another thing that we like about the location is that when raining or snowing, we only have to walk from station to the entrance of the covered shopping street (Miyako-dori). We won't get too wet to get to the hotel. Thank you very much again Authent staff for the fantastic service.

The hotel is not new judging from the key to the room. I think the hotel is in the business for a very long time. Although,what I have mention the hotel room is really nice the buffet room on the top floor has a perfect view of the city and the location is super near to the main city center where you need to visit Otaru Highly recommend. very perfect for me and my family with kid due to near by there is a public area or little park that the community make a snow slope for the children to enjoy for free, which is a lot of fun. ( I visit during March : Snow season)

Clean and the location is great! Around 5 minutes to train and bus station, and close to shops, restaurant, Lawson. The hotel staff was nice as well, would stay there again. Make sure to check out their bakery on the ground level they have freshly baked bread and pastries as well!

The price of this hotel is very reasonable when I booked it. Although the room is small, it has everything u needed in a room. Room is sparkling clean. Love their Panasonic ion hair dryer. Hotel staffs are very polite. No problem with English communication. Parking is 1000 yen per day. If u want cheaper parking, there are plenty of car parks available behind the hotel street. Price are clearly indicated at those car park open air entrance. Lots of eateries around the hotel. Overall, enjoy my stay.

Authent hotel otaru is located near key spots of Otaru. It is like 10 min walk from the station. Very nice, friendly staff. The hotel is quite old but the price is really affordable so it is not a problem. Breakfast was real good. There are two types of breakfast offered, and I chose the western type. Nice&fresh ingredients all fetched from Hokkaido. Bread and dairy was good. The bar at the top of the hotel was not bad. Cozy atmosphere. Overall I want to visit again someday.

Great Little Hotel”
The location was excellent, easily accessible from the train station. It is located directly beside a Shotengai, near a bakery and a big Japanese drugstore. We walked to all the sights in Otaru. Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. Will recommend this to anyone who comes to Otaru.

We had a very restful night during our overnight stay at Otaru. The room was light & airy with a good view of the town. The staff were very helpful & let us check in early. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch.

Good staff service and good location”
The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful to bring luggage to our rooms. The hotel allow car parking at the hotel after check-out time with a fee of 100yen/30 mins, which is cheaper than outside parking. It walking distance to the famous Sankaku Market and the canal.
