Great stay at the Camakila hotel, Legian”
We did a 11 night stay. This is our second time we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is lovely. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good facilities. The back of the resort goes straight onto the beach. Legian is a great location. Does not have the mayhem of Kuta. Also, I prefer Legian over Seminyak. Legian has tons of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a great range of restaurants, so if you want to dine cheap you can but if you want to go a bit more up market you can. The good bit about the Camakila hotel is you can go out the front and be part of the scene or go out the back (which is quieter) and walk along past a great array of eating / drinking places, overlooking the beach. The Camakila has two pools. One in the main part of the complex and the other at the back of the resort. The one at the back is an infinity pool overlooking the beach.

Perfection in Bali”
We stayed at the Ramada Resort Camakila for a week and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The room we had overlooked the pool, had its own private balcony where we enjoyed drinks most evenings, had a large open room with a decent sized bathroom extending off it. The breakfast each morning was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was close to fantastic eateries along Legian Beach. Our night of drinks on the rooftop bar of Tao Restaurant stretched out on the relaxing beds watching the sunset over Legian Beach with a cocktail in our hand was a highlight of the trip. We will be staying there again on our next trip to Bali and recommend it to anyone who is heading there.

Perfection”
We moved to the Camakila after staying across the street at the Baleka Resort which is by no mean a resort and highly-falsed asvertised! We cannot fault the Camakila and have now found our new Legian spot. Perfect location with direct access to beach, x2 pools, amazing spa service and wonderful, friendly staff and management. The food was delicious (pizzas are omg good!) and cocktails are AMAZING, cheap and if you buy 2 and get one free...bonus!!! Rooms are clean, comfortable and inviting, shower pressure not the greatest but other than that there is no fault and I 1000% recommend to anyone staying in Legian!

The Ramada Camakila Resort is located close to the popular Beach in Legian. It's also close to hot Night spots at Doubble66 Road. The Hotel has excellent facilities with a very nice pool Area. The rooms that is located next to the pool is just a step from a cool morning swim in the pool. Enjoy an afternoon drink on the rooftop Bar at Tao and look at the famous Bali sunset is an excellent way to spend the afternoon at Ramada.

Well, this is my fourth trip to Bali and I enjoy myself everytime and look forward to the next one!My 1st trip was in 2007 and since then I've fallen in love with Bali, the Island of the Gods...I love the beautiful sunset, and the warm and friendly people too..The Hotel Ramada Resort Camakila, is situated on the Jalan Padma Utara and within walking distance to the Legian beach which is located behind the hotel. There are quite a number of eateries and shops around the hotel. You can catch a nice view of the swimming pool from the hotel lobby which is also nicely decorated with a modern and simple design, yet with a touch of elegance.The staff were very courteous,helpful and went the extra mile to assist a guest.The room was very spacious and well lit in all the strategic places. A taxi ride from the hotel to Kuta Square costs only Rp20,000 and brings you to the shopping paradise and vibrant night life of Kuta.Overall,I enjoyed my stay at your hotel and look forward to my next trip in April 2010!

I love the The Camakila Legian Beach Resort. This is the second time I stay at this resort (this time we stayed 8 nights) and I love everything about it. I love the huge swimming pool, I love the infinity pool with beach views, I love the attentive and helpful staff and I love that it's in a central location. They also have an amazing spa (Salila Spa) which I will review separately - but heads up, it's 5 stars! There is so much to love about this resort. However the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the building is really starting to look dated. All the place needs is a fresh coat of paint and it will do so much to uplift the resort. Particularly the outside of the Tao rooftop bar. The sign is faded, rust is everywhere and it does very little to attract attention. Also, why not make the most of that fabulous rooftop bar and open it up with top 40 music (I'm guessing that will be popular) and an ice cream stand etc. It just doesn't seem like it's used to the best of its

We had a two week stay at The Camakila, it was recommended by a friend and we loved it. We were in room 1212 which is on the same level as the foyer which was handy, our balcony overlooked the garden area but could also see the pool. Our room I think had been partially renovated as there was paint on the doors and taps, just didn't seem to be finished, but really you don't notice it after a day or so, but if you are a bit OCD it may annoy you. The rooms were very spacious and air conditioned and a huge bed even bigger than a King I reckon, loved the towel animals each day, I'm not sure I would want a room overlooking the main area of the pool as everyone would be looking into your room as the breakfast /dining area is straight across the pool. Also they sing Happy Birthday to people which is lovely , but if the Birthday person happens to be an early breakfaster then it's quite early noisy, we could hear it from our room, if your someone who likes to sleep in it might be a problem.The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and cannot do enough for you, shout out to our friend Arthur he looked after us so well our whole stay. The breakfast is ok, not as big selection as some places we have stayed but perfectly adequate. The hotel's foyer faces the street with lots of restaurants and shops and at the back you can walk a few metres and you are on the beach, check out "The Brothers Bar" on the beach for sunset, ice cold Bintangs, they will look after you. We will definitely stay at The Camakila again on our next trip to Bali.

Awesome Hotel”
This is the second time we have stayed at The Camakila and we just love the smaller homely friendly feel. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you, and a few even remembered us from two years ago. We did think that the rooms were not quite as pristine as our first visit but I think they had just been decorated last visit, the humidity takes its toll I think. The location is awesome right on the beach mid way between Seminyak and Legian areas, restaurants all around, money changer at the post office across the Rd to the left from the front entrance of the hotel is honest. Don’t go to the clothes shop straight across the rd they also money change but they tried to rip us off. I would like to see signs telling people to not leave the pool area with towels on the chairs as some put their towels on early morning and are hardly there all day, so rude. They sing happy birthday at breakfast sometimes multiple times from quite early so ask for a room away if you like a sleep in!

RELAXING HOLIDAY RESORT”
We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Camakila resort, the location was terrific and the staff friendly and efficient. We had a problem with water coming through our ceiling one night at 11.00pm flooding the room, it was quickly dealt with and we were given a free half day in the room on our departure day as compensation ( this meant we could stay in the room until our departure time...9.00pm.) We were disappointed that some of the facilities advertised were not available ( behind schedule) and we had to put up with quite a bit of construction work and noise. We only had breakfast at the resort which was a combination of waiter service ( eggs/ pancakes.hot drinks) and buffet, The selection was excellent with a more than adequate variety of food. The staff wre delightful and made an effort to learn the names of guests. We thought the prices for snacks/ cocktails etc was rather pricey so did not order anything. Overall we had a lovely time at the resort and would return again

The Away Bali is located in Legian great location, you can walk from one side of the hotel to the other, so its easy to get to the beach . Fantastic service and facilities, breakfast was great, the pool amazing, we had a pool side room, just open the door and straight into pool. The hotel was busy but still quiet, not a large hotel like some others. Very quiet at night, good for sleeping. Shops opposite main entrance, offer fixed price item, so you don't have to haggle if you dont want to, prices are very good. Great food at back of hotel too, and a good money changer in the CoCo supermarket. The hotal food was great too. We will go back here for sure.

Great place with very friendly staff. Not a big resort. Very close to the beach although the beach was disgusting while we were there. Huge problem with plastic rubbish on beaches. Stayed at Camakila as it was on the beach at a reasonable price but spent little time on the beach due to the rubbish. The staff were amazing. Some staff remembered our names and even what footy teams we supported. They were fantastic answering question about their lives and family. Really nice touch as travelling is as much about the people as the places. Big rooms and close to everything you need. Thanks Camakila for a great time.

We couldn’t have been happier staying at the Camakila The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were so friendly and always on hand. We had buffet breakfast every morning and ate at the restaurant for Indonesian theme night reasonably priced We loved the infinity pool on the beach side of the resort with Cocktails and or mocktails available on the rooftop bar at happy hour prices and buy 3 for the price of 2 Functional gym Location was terrific, chemist and money exchange across the road (front) With beach access at the rear “Brothers Beach Bar” with Joshua was our pick for sunset drinks. We have been traveling to Bali for 8 years and have stayed at different hotels each time, after staying at the Ramada Camakila it has ticked all the boxes and we will definitely be returning to this wonderful Hotel, We spoke to the manager Greg who is so friendly and approachable and is to be commended on the positive attitude that he has reflected on to the staff as we felt so welcome and felt at home, we have now made some wonderful friends with special thanks to Kuntata, Eka and Lena who were so helpful and friendly in the breakfast area. Location on the beach ”
Enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Camakila resort, the location on the beach is what we really loved, walked on the beach early in the morning and had Bintang at Brothers Bar while watching the sunset later in the day. Very helpful friendly staff, greet you at all times. The resort is very well maintained and clean, our room was large and our bed was extra large king bed, very comfortable with good Airconditioning. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. Two pool areas both clean and well maintained. The gym is small but good and quality equipment. They had Balinese dancers and fire dancers at the restaurant. We would definitely recommend staying at the Ramada!

From the moment they picked us up at the Airport till the moment they dropped us back to catch our flight home The staff where absolutely fantastic The bottles of cold water when we got to the car the wet flannels and the beautiful cold drink when we arrived at the hotel just made everything that little bit more special The staff from the grounds people to the staff in the Restaurants and spa where wonderful We could not fault a thing We have never been to Bali before and were not that enthused about going But everyone at this resort made us feel so welcomed we are both looking forward to going back again and staying at the Ramada Camakila again

Absolutely Fantastic”
The staff here are absolutely amazing they are what makes this hotel so great, so naturally friendly we felt like they were family by the end of our two week stay. Special mention to Arthur and Friday from breakfast for looking after us so well. The Camakila is a smallish hotel, that backs onto the beach oneside and the shops the other making it a very convenient location. Wifi is fantastic in the rooms but you had to log into a different network at the pool and foyer which was unsecured not sure why. The only real thing that I think they could improve on is their finishes in the rooms, we had paint splatters on our taps and door but it's a minor thing and you really don't notice it after a few days. Do yourself a favour and book this hotel, we loved it and will definitely be back. Thanks to all at The Camakila!

Great Hotel, Good Deal for the Price”
We brought our 11 month old son to Bali for vacation. The Ramada Camakila is located on a small side street between the main road and the beach. The beach is just behind the hotel property with easy access from the hotel grounds. Our son really enjoyed the pool - temperature was perfect, and there are plenty of places for a young toddler to walk around in the shallows. Hotel staff was wonderful - friendly and helpful. If we come back to Bali we would definitely stay here again.
