Walking distance to all the historical sites”
I had enjoyed my stay at Ayasultan Hotel. The plus point would be the fact that is conveniently situated in the old Sultanahmet area and is walking distance to a few sites.
Unfortunately during my stay, there were a swarm of Malaysian tourists with very young children and they were already running about the corridor so early in the morning. The walls are pretty thin so we can hear every cry, scream, laughter, loud conversations especially when you have inconsiderate travellers.
Having said that I wouldn't mind staying there again but will be more assertive with the room they give me and request for a change if necessary.

The rooms were clean, the staff were all friendly and best of all, it was near most of the beautiful places to see like Hagia Sofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. You can just walk to these areas. The restaurants near the hotel are also good. The only downside is that I did not enjoy their free breakfast which came with the price of the hotel room.

استغلنا موظف الاستقبال لان وصلنا الفندق الساعه 1 بالليل والغرفه اللي حجزناها كانت صغيره لشخصين فقط وطلبنا منهم سريرين زياده قالو الغرفه ما تتسع وجابولنا بطانيتين ب 150 ليره وهذا مبلغ كبير وحرام ندفعه والغرفه فيها بعوض والاطفال كانو نائمين على الارض وطلبوا منا النوم تلك الليله على اساس يشوفولنا حل ثاني يوم صباح لكن للاسف لا حياة لمن تنادي

Overall stay was great, but location was the best thing! only few steps from Sultanahmed tram and all attractions such as Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. Staff was very helpful, specially Matrix who was always there with a smile he even helped translating to taxi driver.

Good location. Walking distance to tourist area, dining places and convenience store. The staff are nice and very helpfully. Breakfast is a selection of cheeses, cold mezze, continental. Wonderful stay here.

Excellent location walking distance to Hagia Sophia,Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace,Hippodrome, Tram Station, and restaurants. But please take note not to eat in Sultansaray , staffs are dishonest,food is pricey.Rooms are spacious .Overall I will recommend travelers to stay here in Ayasultan Hotel.

Perfect for family on a budget holiday ”
Hotel was in perfect location, rooms cleaned daily but the sheets weren’t changed daily.
Breakfast is ok, not much choice for kids. They don’t have a kitchen so breakfast I assume is delivered to the restaurant. They provided a large variety of biscuits, salamis, salads, bread, dilute juice, coffee, hot chocolates, two types of cereal, jams, boiled eggs.
Honestly if the hotel changed the best sheets daily & added more variety to breakfast I would be a lot more happier to choose them for my next visit. If I was to visit Istanbul again I would definitely look for a hotel in the same location & if I wasn’t able to find within my budget I would definitely choose them again. They just need to improve on small things like lighting in the room, new sheets & provid towels that are not frailed on the edges..
Staff were really nice, very helpful & they provided my 3 year old with a Cake on his birthday which was a huge surprise for us! I wouldn’t frown if I had to book with them again
