Find hotels near Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, India

Very new hotel, opened in mid 2012. So you can imagine how clean and new eveything is. Very modern decor. Room is nicely furnished. Nice tub, hair dryer, bath robe, towels and locitane toiletries. The bed is so comfortable. Mumbai is the last of my India tour and the bed at Sofitel is the best I have slept on throughout my entire holiday. The only con about the hotel is the location. It's about 10 mins away from Bandra if the traffic is good. But it's India and traffic is seldom good. On one occasion it took us 45mins from Bandra to the hotel. Hotel is actually nearer to the airport. There is nothing within walking distance from the hotel. So if you want to grab food, you can either eat at the hotel restaurants or get a cab. As I have hired a full day car for the trip, location is not an issue for me.

Every time I've come here I request the bottom bunk and the request is made prior at the time of booking, but when I arrive the staff hasn't seen the request and there's a fuss. Fortunately, they have still accommodated me, but it would be good if the responsible staff for booking can make note of their customers request prior to their arrival so that there's no issues. Overall, great place at a very affordable price!

located in bandra kurla complex, it would seem the hotel caters mostly to business travelers and so the hotel amenities and room provisions have been made to reflect such. the rooms are very straightforward but well-made--very minimalist design so you can be certain these rooms won't age too fast, unlike the more opulent furnishings in other luxury lesiure hotels. i would have preferred to have a nice room speaker for my ipod or at least a dock that with connect it to the room speaker but there really are no options. service was very good, all the employees were responsive from the room attendants to the restaurant staff. requests were attended to instantaneously with minimal waiting time. food though needs some work. i had eaten breakfast at the restaurant lobby and it just lacked variety and wasn't really appettizing. in-room dining was also so-so and the club lounge snacks weren't really something to look forward to. i had eaten at the hotel's italian restaurant though and that would be your best choice for a meal.
