Lovely hotel providing excellent service”

As a stop over on the way to or from the airport, the Oakwood Residences is a good choice. Self contained with a 7/11 and ATM, quiet despite the proximity to the main road, with excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff and a free shuttle service to the city of Bangkok. It is isolated, however, 5 kilometers from central Bang Na shops and a 30/45 minute shuttle ride or bus journey into the city of Bangkok.

Oakwook is always a good stay ,even is in Bang Na but you can find what you need and easy to reach the Sukhumvit area if you want to enjoy at full ..or just relax stay in the Pool and may go for shopping in the near Mega BangNa ..or Central and many place around Bangkok is Huge and full of life ..in every corner ..is very close to the expo area BITEC if you're in BKK for exibitions ..

This is a great serviced apartment block where we had so much space to spread out in a masive apartment which was great value for money. The staff were so helpful and friendly, games room and pool good for the kids, apartment was well equipped and such a quiet location. It is very close to the Mega Bangna shopping centre. The only thing to be aware of is that there is really nothing else around the apartment complex, there is a 7-11 in a neighbouring block and the hotel has good room service but every trip out requires a taxi. It was also a bit tricky sometimes getting a taxt from Mega Bangna but that is not the fault of the hotel. As long as you are aware of the location cannot recommend this highly enough! We will definitely stay again!

Clean, comfortable, and activities for kids”

This was our second stay at Oakwood Garden Towers. Two years ago the rooms seemed brand new. They are still in great condition. The rooms are very clean, and there is lovely rugs. Usually, I don't like carpeting in Asia because of the musty smell and lack of deep cleaning. However, I really enjoy the rugs and carpeting in the master bedroom because it is well cared for. The kitchen is well-equipped (even a vegetable peeler), and I was able to make several quick meals for my family. The beds and duvet are very comfortable. There is also no outside noise or noise from other rooms. A peaceful nights sleep is easy to get here. There is a game room with foosball and table tennis. Our kids spent a couple hours playing there. There is a big new western-style mall (Mega) with lots of name brand stores, including IKEA. There is also Central Bang-na, which is a good mall. Both malls are only minutes from the hotel and have plenty of restaurant choices. There is a free shuttle to the malls, but you will have to take a taxi back. You can take a taxi to the BTS station, which takes about 10 minutes and costs about 70 Baht.

Close to the airport, quite but no free wifi”

This is my 2nd time staying at Oakwood Residence Bangna. I choose here because it is close to the airport as my flight arrived after midnight. The room is nice, just a bit small, but ok for me. The breakfast is ok, couple variations of oriental and european food and nice fresh brew coffee. The staff are polite and pleasant personality: service with smile. Free one way shuttle van for guests who would like to go out for shopping or travel to town by sky train, because it drops you off at bts bangna station or central bangna. One bad point is no free wifi.

Oakwood Residence Garden Towers Bangna provided the greatest value for this price. Room size, room facilities and condition was really great. It has everthing for family residence or for a business trip -- washing machine, dish wasing machin, ... And the staff and services was really nice.

Oasis in a desert”

Taxi drivers know Bangna Tower, but not Bangna Pride. Drive straight in, through two gates, and you find tranquility -- a place you can call home (away from home). Everything, from the furnishings to the super high pressure shower to the Norfolk Pine in the garden, is first class.

Nice modern residence about 20-30min from airport”

It was only an overnight stay to catch next day flight. It was impressed with the room design and facilities. If you want a room not to far from Hotel and next to a big shopping center like "Mega Bang-na" this is the place to be. The only thing I didn't like is having to pay about bht 700 for early check in since we arrived around 9am (I had to, we were dead tired from a long flight and we have a 5 year old with us). I guess most hotels would not give you the room this early without charging you but I didn't expect they would charge this much, the room rate we booked was bht 2500.

Very good location, rooms big enough”

Very convenient location to IKEA and the new Mega Bangna shopping complex. Free shuttle bus available that takes you there. Hotel staff is very helpful and service minded. Rooms are not huge, but big enough and very clean. Has a lot of store room. Traveling by car we did not have big problems to find the Hotel, but inside the big Hotel area you have to ask for the Hotel`s garage. We will certainly stay at Oakwood Residence again.

Great place to stay”

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was excellent. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, and washer & dryer. It is very close to Mega Bangna Mall. If you are needing to stay in the Bangna area of Bangkok, I would recommend this hotel.

Modern hotel at confusing location”

Location is confusing. 4 different taxi drivers got lost over 3 days. Oakwood is situated behind Bangna Tower and they share the same entrance. Even so, not all drivers know Bangna Tower. Found out the surefire way to get to hotel is to tell driver Oakwood is located opposite Lotus Bangna. You will still need to help lookout for the hotel entrance after they make a u-turn in-front of Lotus Bangna. Still a convenient location for me as my workplace is at BITEC convention centre. Far from city shopping belts. To go shopping, need to take taxi to Banga BTS, and travel by skytrain for more than 10 stations to reach Siam, Chidlom etc. Nearby there are few big shopping centres, Central Department Store, Big C, Tesco and Lotus. The hotel provides free shuttle service to few of these places. Note shuttle service is only one-way. Hotel is great if you are there to work only. Relaxing and lots of workspace especially if you book the bedroom suites. The Junior Studio I booked this time is just a regular hotel room but very comfortable.

The Best”

Stayed for three weeks with wife and two grown daughters in 2 bedroom apartment. Used all facilities. Very efficient and courteous Staff. 24 hour 7-11 in next building for your convienence. Called down stairs many times for taxi and it was always there in 5 minutes for our pickup. Taxi's had little problem finding the hotel (tell them Bangna Tower and use the map provided by the front desk). Restaurant food was good. Breakfast was also good. Only problem was the fairly slow internet. If you are staying over a week, it is better to buy the month package than pay the daily rate. Price for the apartment was very reasonable. We would go again for sure.

Exceptional quality hotel”

This very new hotel would fetch much higher rates in a better location. This is of great value to the traveler to the area with business in the area of Bang Na such as the BITC convention Center. There is a free hourly shuttle service to the nearest underground station in an a/c van. The breakfast was a great buffet with a wide variety of western and Thai food and fruits. As an experienced three star traveler, I thought I was in a five star+ hotel in the Oakwood. It only lacked the bars and large restaurants.

Small but worth to pay”

Even though the room is quite small but it is worth to pay since it has well decoration. Beautiful shampoo and soap package. Food is suitable with its price. Excellent residence You can trust. There is also free service to Mega Bangna and some other places.

Lover of Peace and Quiet Atmosphere ”

It is very quiet at Bangna Pride as early 6:30pm onwards. If you are taking taxi to Bangna Pride, you have to tell the Taxi driver to drive you to Bangna Tower. The nearest shopping mall is Mega Bangna which about 10 to 15 mins drive. The nearest BTS station is either Banga or Udom Suk. From the hotel to the BTS station is about 20 mins with the traffic. It could be 10 mins if you take a taxi after 8pm. This is a good hotel for business travelers who seek quietness and a good rest after work with minimum activities.

The best hotel for a shopping weekend”

The hotel is very close to Mega Bangna and have free shuttle several times a day. The staff is really helpful, helping us with everything including organising an extra big taxi on meter to Don Muang airport, but I was a bit annoyed having to pay 6,000 THB deposit for the room, more than the actual cost for two nights. The rooms are small, but clean and the beds are very comfortable with soft nice pilows. The first night we didn't get any drinking water in the room and we were too tired to go down and ask for it. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Thailand, with a large selection of yoghurt and cereals, but it had a very poor selection of bread. The pool area is relaxing and open until 10pm which is very refreshing after a full day shopping, but it was dissapointing that there was no wifi connection there.

Over and above accommodating ”

We arrived very late from the U.S. and was welcomed by a very courteous front desk. Upon check-in, we discovered that our train tickets to Chiangmai went top the wrong Oakwood Residence location. The next morning we were called by the front desk to say they were looking into the train tickets. There had them delivered to our location before it was time for us check out. They were very accommodating and helpful. We took their free shuttle to downtown bangkok and did some shopping before catching the train at the train station to Chiangmai. The breakfast was fabulous! The hotel is a little far from the airport, or it may have been our cab driver who fell asleep getting us to the hotel and missed a turn! It would be great if the hotel had transportation from the airport, even at a cost.

Perfect if in Bangna or airport”

I have stayed here several times and will stay again when in Bang Na. This location is far from Bangkok down town but perfect if you visit Bang Na or Samut Prakan. Nice homy apartment feeling in the hotel, nice staff, relaxing feeling overall and high class of comfort. I can recommend this to friens

Excellent”

I stayed at Oakwood Residence Garden Towers Bangna with my family for three nights here. No complaints at all. Excellent staff and service. Ekachai from reception provided excellent service and Chef Wan's food were to die for. Would love to comeback and recommend anyone to stay and dine here.

nice & conveniently located near Mega Bangna”

We've been here 3 times now, each time we get a different room, though still at our room type requests. This time, the room is older, but ok. We only spent one night on our way home from visiting Bangkok, and all we want was to be near Mega Bangna, this is the nearest to this shopping complex. The breakfast is good with nice friendly service, and very kids friendly. We will come back again. Only downside is no comolimentary wifi.
