As per location: Few choices of food places in walking distance, but drive away like 10 to 20 mins there are more places. Like daily shopping there less choices to shop with, not much good shopping places close by. "

"I live in the United States. I would consider this hotel to be pretty comparable to a 4 star hotel stateside. Its a very nice hotel inside and out. They are security conscious. There is a very nice pool on the top floor. The food available is pretty decent. I got tired of Indian food in general on this trip, and obviously have an American palette. So I'm not going to lie and say the food was my favorite. But it beat having to go in to town for a meal. The one bummer is this hotel doesnt yet have their liquor license (as of May 2019). They have a lovely bar that is ready to go, but its note open yet. The staff was very pleasant. The kept good care of my room. They were quite accommodating for arranging transportation. They were pretty helpful, sans some of the language barriers. I picked this hotel because of its proximity to my customer. It ended up being a 5 minute walk to their office from the hotel. The street that connects the hotel to my customer is clean and safe"

"Blooms Cochin Hotel was a pleasant surprise. We chose it because of its proximity to a residential complex in which we had some matters to attend. Our past experience with 3 and 4 star hotels in Kochi weren't very pleasant. But what we saw at this hotel far exceeded our expectations. Clean (well-appointed) rooms, furniture, beds, linens and toilets. No moldy furniture and no smelly carpets (which was our biggest worry). Enough storage and desk spaces. Enough power outlets and reasonably strong WiFi access in rooms and common areas. Above all, nice and polite staff - especially the lovely young lady at the reception who always welcomes you with a pleasant smile every time you enter the lobby. (Sorry, I forgot to ask her name). Service as well as restaurant staff were also great and services requested were immediately attended to. Breakfast was good, even though continental choices are limited. Restaurant is neat and tidy and food we tried tasted good. Will stay there again..."

"It is a good budget hotel, about a km away from Kakkanad main bus stand. It has got clean rooms and friendly staff. But be aware that Non AC rooms have no hot water, they didn't provide towel and toiletries when we checked in. Door locks are a bit jammed and there were no doormats. But the bed was well made, tv works just fine, and you can access wifi in the lobby. Small but clean bathrooms. It costs 1000 INR for a standard double-bed non AC room."

"Hill View hotel is located in kakkanad area which is very near to the IT parks. We are three including me, my wife and daughter and had to stay here for a day to visit my friends place living in the same area. We found rooms to be very clean and friendly staff otherwise, there is no special attractions in this hotel. This hotel is more suitable for business people and to people who want to stay in a good room with less price(No Amenities). Food wise, Breakfast was okay. Overall, good budget hotel "

"The stay at the Olive was very comfortable for me. I had gone to Cochin for a business visit and the hotel located right next to the Kakkanad Infopark was ideal for me. The check-in took exactly 3 minutes and the room was ready at 7am!! which is very rare these days. Very comfortable and spacious room with good amenities. Service levels were simply fantastic. The cons if any would be lack of any additional facilities like a spa or pool or health club. But I would recommend this hotel for any business traveler coming down to Cochin."
