Lively, Clean and accessible Accommodation!!”

We took a ferry from Penang to Langkawi and chose Bayview Hotel as our accommodation for our 3D2N holiday as it is nearer to the ferry terminal. The room is clean and nice with good view of the kuah town. It has a big swimming pool and a jacuzzi pool facing the sea. As the hotel is situated in the kuah town, we can easily find delicious seafood restaurant at reasonable price. At night, there is also a night street, 5 min walk from our hotel. Items e.g clothes, accessories, etc sold there are cheap and the BBQ chicken is delicious. The service staffs in Bayview are also very nice. They helped us with our tour package booking. Made great arrangement for our transport to and fro the activity venue. Overall, we had a great stay in Bayview.

Hearty situated at Langkawi town area (Kuah Town) with just few km distance from Jetty Point. Room - Clean and spacious, aircon works well - Bathroom is spacious and clean too, basic amenities all provided - WiFi works well and speedy too - TV with few channel available - Compliment 2 bottle water + coffee sachet with kettle/cup available - fridge, safe, and haridryer available - Bed is clean and comfy Facilities - Swimming pool is spacious - Breakfast is MYR20/pax if no include in your room package - Receptionist very attentive, seamless check-in and I got the complimentary upgrade to seaview room! Firstly, Bayview is a great hotel with excellent staff who guided us through our stay in Langkawi. The hotel provides you a travel advisor who answers all your queries about that area and how to visit all around it. The taxi services are very good as there is no haggling as most of their fares are reasonable . The location of the hotel is outstanding as though it is located in downtown , the daily hustle bustle of the area is acceptable being close to the sea. The location provides the option of many shops and multi cuisine restaurants.It was a treat to get to see breathtaking and astounding views from our room. Bayview has very helpful and thoughtful staff. The only suggestion from our side would be to include more cuisines in the hotel restaurant menu as the options were very limited. Hope they introduces Indian cuisine as not only natives but most foreigners also enjoy it. Throughout, Bayview has helped us make lovely memories in Langkawi and hope you all have similar experiences too!

Great location with excellent service”

The hotel is in the centre of Kuah Town, 2 mins walk from the night market. Near the hotel, there is one of the best restaurant in Langkawi-- Wonderland seafood restaurant, cheap and good. The location of the hotel is perfect, outside the hotel is the taxi station, where you can get a taxi anytime. From you room, you can see the Eagle Square and the sea view, when you open your eyes in the morning and take a breathe of the fresh air, you will feel that Bayview hotel is definitely a good choice.

My family had a wonderful time in Langkawi. this was the second time we stayed in Bayview. First visit with family was in year 2004. At first, i had diffulties to book a room at Bayview due to last minutes after we cancelled earlier booking few months earlier. In 2 weeks, i managed to search and to confirm reservation at Bayview via Agoda.com. Not very confident on the sucurity booking online, and i make a personal follow up with Bayview Hotel, Langkawi to double confirm the room reservation. I'm happy with their prompt services - hotel and agoda.com. It is highly recommended to plan and booking hotel via agoda as security guranteed and point system. i shall plan for next holiday via agoda as it safe time too. Thanks

Great hotel, great location.”

the main reason we chose this hotel to stay in was because of our very enjoyable stay at the bayview hotel in penang. we were not disappointed with bayview langkawi. i liked it from the moment we arrived. we had a seaview room on the ninth floor. the view over the harbour was beautiful. the hotels proximity to everything we needed was wonderful. numerous restaurants, markets and hawker cafes very close. money changers were easily found and gave a good rate and i had no doubts about their integrity. there is a taxi rank straight across the road from the hotel.taxi with licence plate kv9868c, driven by baslan is particularly good. we enjoyed our room and the maids did an excellent job. we do not hesitate in recommending this hotel to other travellers.

1ST VIST TO LANGKAWI HOLIDAY STAY”

This is the first time I've ever been to Langkawi and I must admit it was one of my best holiday ever. Initially, my main purpose of travelling over was to visit the temple, however, there were a great varity of activities and attraction which makes Langkawi unique. What amazed us most was the hotel we lived in - Bayview Hotel. The staff at the reception were polite and friendly, making it easier for foreigners like us. In addition, the seaview rooms were extremely pleasing and comfortable, making my trip there very relaxing. The rooms were very clean. Although this hotel is only 3-4 stars, I personally feel that it's service and facilities are definitely 5-stars!

Pleasant Experience”

Bayview Hotel is located right in the middle of Kuah town in Langkawi....can easily access duty free shops by walk. The cool thing is there is a taxi stand right opposite the hotel so you can hire a taxi to go to the beach and other interesting places. I stayed there for a couple of days during New Year eve and had a very pleasant experience. The facilities are top class and the in-house restaurant is pretty good. The swimming pool is nice. The Executive Room is one of the biggest rooms I have seen in hotels of this class. Definitely a recommended hotel for those who don't want to spend their entire time at the beach (for that, a beach resort would be better :-)

A Great Experience”

My mother and I booked this hotel on 16th March, just a day away from our actual stay period from 17th March to 19th March. Bayview was honestly unexpectedly a great stay for my mother and I as they provided us with a service beyond our expectations. Booking through Agoda was definitely the best choice I have ever made due to it’s cashless, smooth and fast way of booking. We thought we were left with no options finding a hotel with the price range that we wanted, but Agoda proved us otherwise. We thought Bayview was meh, 4-star hotel, probably just so-so, but we were wrong. When we reached there, the staffs were all, and i mean literally all we met was smiley and provided a great service from the start of our stay till the end. When we reached our premier hotel facing the sea view, we were amazed by how huge the room and the toilet was, the room also had a hairdryer and an iron with an iron board which i am particular about as a person. All the drinks in the fridge were complimentary for us. They even called up our hotel on our second day stay to ask politely whether we are coming to enjoy their complimentary drinks at the executive lounge at the 14th floor. They had lovely pizza (1 type-i think it was supreme flavour), sandwhiches, fruits and 2 types of cakes, milk, coffee, tea and plain water with a tv on at the executive lounge. We enjoyed it. On our second night we decided to just order room service food from the ‘flamingo’ food service which is exactly the same food service provided for breakfast buffet, we requested for satay with more gravy and yup we got more gravy, not one ingredient was short. Moreover, the total price had a discount of 20% off tops. Did i mention the buffet spread was awesome? - they had everything from rice, to mee goreng to dim sum to roti canai to pasta, starting to make me think that they’re really open to choice of flavours from different cultures. Great Experience”

The Bayview Hotel in Langkawi was wonderful experience for us. The hotel is maintained really well. The staff extremely helpful. Our room had an excellent view of the sea the market place. It being close to the market also helped us move around after a great sight seeing day. Non-availability of transfer from/to airport and non-availability of vegetarian food were the only minus points we could think of. Otherwise it was a very satisfying experience for us. We will surely recommend people to go and stay there and we ourselves will also have no second thoughts about this hotel. Thanks Bayview for our pleasant stay with you.

Great value and location”

Our stay at the Bayview was great. The staff were courtesy, friendly and helpful, the location for our needs was perfect and the room was just what we needed after 3 months on a Thai tropical island in small a 2 star room. The hotel is a quick 10 Ringet taxi ride from the Kauh ferry terminal, and is walking distance to lots of duty free stores and local market restaurants. It is not a beach resort, but has a good swimming pool. The buffet breakfast had lots of Asian and Indian dishes, but still catered for western tastes with cerals, fruits, omelette, toast and coffee. The view from our 9th floor room was great and we felt relaxed by the pool, supplied with towels and deck chairs. We would definitely stay there again if we needed a hotel in Langkawi. a great stay, the hotel is nicely position in Kuah town and close to just about everything. The buffle breakfast is excellent, good selection of international food (happy to find bake bean^^- I am an Australian Chinese) The swimming pool and hotel room is nice size. Hotel car rental and internet charge isn't the best value deal in Langkawi, but staff are very friendly. It might not as new as some hotel i been to, but great value for its age and location, espcially in Langkawi. sea facing excutive room is just breath taking. also mini bar was free and restocked everyday^^

We only booked one night at The Bayview before we continued onto a resort for the reminder of our seven nignt stay in Langkawi. The room was large with two double beds, bathroom was large and clean with all the extras like shampoo, conditioner and bath/shower gel provided. The staff were friendly and were quick in responding to our request for extra towels. Good to have complimentary bottled water supplied. The pool was large and clean. Breakfast was very good with both Asian and Western tastes accounted for. Over all The Bayview is value for money. I would recommend it for a budget holiday stay in Langkawi.

Excellent service”

Having traveled to many places and stayed in countless hotels, I must say that the service provided by Bayview Hotel is of one that matches a 5-star hotel. The room wasn't ready upon check-in, but the 10 minutes wait was made perfectly acceptable when the staff extended apology in the most sincere and professional manner, who even later brought our key to where we were seated to wait(this greatly impressed someone who experienced waiting up to a total of more than an hour in some hotels and had to approach the counter every 30 minutes). There were some drilling going on with upper floor during our stay and when we called the reception, they promptly found out where it's coming from and the expected period of disturbance, and whether or not we would like to call for a stop on that. Upon check-out, the queue was long but I was very impressed with their positioning of a staff outside the counter to assist those with no bills to clear for a time-saving check-out. Apart from good service, the very spacious hotel room was nicely maintained and well cleaned. Showers were hot with enough water pressure. The beds were comfy, with 2 pillows on each, of different hardness I felt. TV programs were good, air-con perfect with bedside control. Buffet breakfast by the hotel was good, although there are rooms for improvement at the eggs counter where the wait was long and there was no choices of omelets filling/poached/sunny side up/scrambled eggs. Overall, it is a very good hotel for a very pleasant stay. The hotel's strategically located at a very good spot within walking distance to many duty free shops and Wednesday night market.

Very Good Hotel - Good food, service & amenties”

We were a bunch of friends putting up at Bayview Executive hil View rooms.We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Its a very good place to put up. Breakfast is really good. Good variety and taste. The hotel offers evening executive tea/coffee with snacks from 5 to 8pm. Although we took the hill view rooms on 14th floor, the SEA view rooms offer a great view. The rooms are spacious enough and comfy. Cenang is the place to hang out in Malaysia which is 24 MYR from the hotel. Island hopping, cable car and cenang is the place to be in Langkawi. Overall, Excellent place to put up in Langkawi for family, friends ,...

Best hotel in Kuah town......for shopping”

Despite there being a wide choice of hotels, Bayview is inevitably our select hotel everytime we visit Kuah town in Langkawi - and that over the last 10 years. We omitted making room requests when booking through Agoda and therefore emailed the hotel subsequently. They responded within the same day and met our requests. Unfortunately, our breakfast allocation was stated as for one person only. The hotel staff handled my protest most profesionally.
