Great value for the price, clean and professional, welcoming and comfortable”

Excellent location (immediate access to Boat Quay, and within walking distance to Clark Quay, Merlion, malls, metro stop, Chinatown) with a nice seaside view out the lobby. The staff were friendly and amazing: they were incredibly nice and helpful, and very efficient. They actually offered me and my friend to switch from a shared queen bed to two single capsules at no charge, which made the experience much nicer as it avoided the awkwardness of syncing sleep patterns in close proximity with my non-romantically involved friend. Rooms were comfortable and new, with keycards for unlocking room and own locker, and AC. I stayed in the mixed dorm single capsule, and although I'm 6 ft 2 (188 cm), I fit the bed exactly. The mattress is a little hard but great for sleep, and universal wall plugs (2) were lifesavers. Pulling down curtain of capsule gives immediate privacy, and roommates are generally quiet and respectable. Bathrooms are a little cramped for showering as the stalls have a toilet, sink, and shower head altogether (and soap/shampoo), but I experienced no problems really. The lobby is very nice, and has cups and a water pitcher, nice seating/desks, and wall plugs. Note there is a lounge upstairs with desks, fridge, washer, and a computer. Since my capsule was a little cramped for laptop use/ journaling, the desks in the lounge worked well for my work! Tip: tickets to attractions (zoo, aquarium, gardens by the bay) are cheaper when bought at the lobby!

Exceptional hostel as per my experience”

Location, worth for money you spent, facilities and maintenance and all you see in agoda are all the same with reality you will spend here as i did. Very close and walking distance to central of interest,. Culinary and 4 mrt station (raffles, telok ayer, promenade, clarke quay) integrated and will connect you to all areas in singapore. Beat Capsule is more than a hostel it has to be 1 or star hotel because of its facilities and how the owner maintain it. Will absolutely come back to this hostel again one day

Excellent pod hostel”

Location. Cleanliness. Beds/pods

Excellent! Will definitely go back to this place when I'm back in SG. Wonderful pillows, comforter and bed, all of hotel quality. I got the pod at the top for much more privacy and a more quiet sleep. There's a blind in each pod in which one can pull down for a little privacy. But if light is turned on in your pod, the ones outside can see your silhouette and may check out what you're doing. Cause of that, its better to get the top pod. I may be paranoid, sorry. The shower and toilet is situated inside the dorm room. Great isn't. You don't have to go out of the room especially if you have to pee in the middle of the night. Don't worry the dorm room does not smell like toilets (atleast when I was there). Guests are instructed to close the main door leading to the toilets. Did I mention already that each toilet comes with a shower? Also, the hostel takes cleanliness as a serious habit. The place is located on Boat Quay, so it's very convenient going to anywhere. There are 2 MRT stations about a 5 minute walking distance - Clarke Quay and Telok Ayer stations. There also bus stops nearby, just ask the friendly receptionist for directions, if you must. Finally, the view of the river and nearby structures are great from the pantry/reception area. Enjoy your trip!

Good location to stay in Singapore”

Location - Very good location. Locate near 2 MRT stations. (Clarke Quay & Raffle place). Room - Common area and bedrooms are same as in pictures. 4 bathrooms in hostel (Asian style not separate wet/dry zone) very good pressure at shower and hot water is working very well. Bed is comfy and use international socket in bed. For other point in hostel use Singapore socket type. Breakfast - Easy breakfast start from 8:00-10:00am. Toast with many kind of spreads, Coffee/Tea/Milk/Juice, Cereal. In hostel has microwave and kitchenware. Need to clean by yourself after use. Staffs - All of them are friendly ready to help. You can put you luggage at common room and going out. If you prefer to use bathroom/toilet also can! Good for person who have evening/night flight. There will be deposit for key card 20$, you will get it back when you return. Towel also available for 2$, deposit for 5$. Highly recommend to stay in this place !

Great Hostel - centrally located”

This is a centrally located hostel on Boat Quay. It is right on the water with tons of restaurants and bars (we are not drinkers or late nighters, but we enjoyed the hustle bustle of the area). Just a few minutes to the Central Business District (CBD) and the Raffles Place MRT. The beds were really comfortable. My wife and I found that it was plenty of room for the two of us. There wasn't any place to put our phones and wallets for the night. International plug points are conveniently located, so there is no need for a travel adapter. Storage lockers below the bed were adequate for our luggage - 2 day packs and 2 carry on strollers. There are locks, so no worry about leaving stuff in there. The bathrooms are a little small and after a shower the whole bathroom gets wet. So that was a little bit of a struggle. Note that the bathrooms have windows so it does not get musty - just wet. We weren't here over a weekend, so not sure how busy and noisy the area gets. We were on the third floor and could barely hear the noise from the streets. However, given that this is a hostel there was noise from other "room-mates" that woke us up early in the morning - even though they were trying to be quiet. The views from the hostel are fantastic. You can see the tall buildings of the CBD, the museums and government buildings across the river, and the Marina Bay Sands hotel further off. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy. There was toast and a variety of spreads, coffee and cereal. The staff is very polite and extremely helpful!

Great location”

It is located right at the party road of Singapore - Boat Quay and you can easily walk to another night live scene - Clarke Quay. It's just 5 - 10 minutes walking to 2 MRT stations where you can catch a train to everywhere. If you are tired of the busy city, you can sit down by the river and enjoy some alone time before heading back to the hostel. To sum it up, the location is perfect IMO. The dorm is neat, clean and everything you need on a solo budget trip.

Best spot for those who will stay most of their time sightseeing”

The hostel is good: clean beds and sheets, very friendly staff (helped us with maps and printing tickets) and a good-quality breakfast for a hostel (and considering thaat Singapore is Expen$$$ive, having a good breakfast is a plus). But you have to be aware that you are in a Capsule Hostel: your space is very limited, the showers are shared and not very comfortable, it can be noisy in the main bedroom during the day (because of cleaning and lots of people). But it definitely worth it because of its location: Boat Quay is less than a kilometer by feet from the gorgeous Marina Bay. Me and my girlfriend did ALL our tourist programs by feet or subway. Very very good location. We spend a (rainy) years eve, and it was amazing. For the location, i recommend it.

Best Hostel!”

I used to do backpacker travel around South East Asia, and especially to Singapore, but this Beat Capsule is the best i've ever stay. I use queen bed size and it's clean, enough space to use for a couple, the bed is comfort and i sleep well. Nice view from the window of the room, the bathroom/toilet is clean and there is hot water too, great facilities like refill your drink water, hot water to make instant noodle, also you can laundry your stuff there. But the most impressive for me is the the staff are friendly and very nice, i check out at 9am but i had a flight at 11pm, and they allow me to keep my stuff at hotel so i can go travel around and come back to the hostel before 9pm, and they allow us to take a bath too even we already check out. Very nice service and i would not doubt to stay again in the future. Very recomended hostel to stay.

You’re not allowed to enter the room with your shoes or slippers. It’s a nice hostel with good view of the boat quay and it’s near the famous attractions. Will defenitely go back to this hostel.

Clean, good location, satisfied overall!”

I spent 2 nights in this hostel with comfort! First day I arrived, I was kind of embarrassed because none of the staffs were in the counter even though it was 8 in the evening! I was waiting in the reception area around 20 minutes and got out because I didn't want to waste my time. Thankfully staff arrived and called me to check in and I did so right away. I chose queen sized single delux dorm and it was perfect choice. The bed was really comfy and there wasn't any noise although it was dormitory type in the middle of the boat quay. I didn't eat the breakfast but it seemed to be really simple including jam, nutella, toast, bisquet..etc. Toilet was with shower and they were not crowded at all. They do borrow towel with payment, so if u dont want please prepare those kind of stuffs. I would stay there when I come back to Singapore again. Thanks !

Bed frames are quite stable, no squeaky sounds. The upper bunks can be quite high. Light for each capsule, 2 3-pin plugs, and a foldable small desk. There's locker with lock for each bed. You can leave your luggage after checkout at the lounge. Access to Female dorm is through the mixed dorm, sharing the toilets with mixed dorm. Free breakfast with bread, jam, peanut butter, chocolate, juice, milk, tea, coffee. No toothbrush/paste (can buy for few $), towel rental $2 (+deposit $5). Friendly staff. Just above boat Quay shops/bars/restaurants.

First Time Capsule Hotel”

For a first time experience stayed @ a capsule hotel, this was a delightful experience. The place is the best, near to 2 MRT Stations (Raffles Place & Clarke Quay), a lot of a restaurants/pub/bar. The facilities provided is enough for those who travel alone and don't bother about self service. Just note, if you having a luggage to carry around, request for the lower bunk bed, instead the high one.

Pod style along the river with great hostel vibe!”

Great view, cozy capsules, clean toilets

It's on quite a busy street where the hostel is located with bars and seafood restaurants along the street as it is directly along the Singapore river. the view is great and there is a nice lobby to enjoy the view over a cup of free cappuccino that the hostel provides daily - which is awesome for my daily dose! the toilets are all in one - shower and wc - but it is well maintained and clean. no issue there. nice hostel vibe over here... more fun and interactive as the staff shares with us on where to go and what to eat. i have stayed in other capsule hostels in Singapore that felt a little sombre. Also, i managed to join in one of the hostel activity where a staff took us to cycle round the marina bay to the Gardens by the bay and had local food dinner together. Great fun!

good option”

good location, clean, friendly

The front-loading capsules are comfortable, although the top capsules are a bit tricky to get in & out of as they are quite high. The rooms have 20 capsules, so you're basically in a 20-sleeper dorm room, although you feel like you've got your own little space so it's not a problem. The location is good, but best to eat at the hawker centres and not along the Quay. Staff are friendly, hostel very clean.

It's located near MRT Station. Along the Boat Quay, you can see the Singapore River. A nice scenery! The hostel is very clean. The front desk are very friendly.
