Feel safe but at the same time i feel not welcome at this bella vista express”

Travel by own car from KL to Langkawi by Roro through Kuala Perlis. Easy to find this Bella Vista, just 7-10 minutes from Pantai Chenang by car. 10 minutes drive to my event place, Padang Matsirat. Feel secure cause car park entry with 24 hours security guard. But the lift a bit slow and only 1 lift function well while another one out of service during my stay. 1st day arrived, the room is ready with air conditioner turn on which make guest are welcome. 2nd day they clean up the room and leave the air conditioner turn on as well which i feel regular guest (this time i return to the room with a lot of chocolate which i spend almost rm600). 3rd day i leave the room for scuba dive around 830am with air conditioner turn on 16°c. When i return to the room around 5pm, i found out all my chocolate were melt caused the air conditioner in turn off mode. I dont know why the staff turn off the air-cond. I feel tired on that time therefore i dont want to complaint.

highly recommended hotel!!i've stay for 3 nights in langkawi with the different hotels in each night, and compare to the other hotels that we stayed, bella vista is the best hotel!!15 minutes to cable car, 10 minutes to cenang beach, 5 minutes to airport and 25 minutes to kuah (better to rent a car/motorbike before you check in). not only great location,the staff is very friendly with 5 stars services and the room is very nice & clean with the 4stars amenities but the price is not reasonable..its really cheap!!thanks bella vista....

Great location and friendly staff”

Stayed 21st till 25th Jan, which are weekdays. Avoided the school holiday crowd and weekend rush. Even then, we found many visitors to the lovely, slow-paced islands of Langkawi. We rented a car (cheaper and easy to obtain when it's off-season!) at the airport's arrival hall and arrived at Bella Vista Hotel by mid-day. The hotel is only 5 minutes drive from the airport. Our room (#350) was clean and had the extra bed we requested for our son. Breakfast was pleasant with an adequate variety of food and drink. WiFi was available at the Lobby only. The next time we visit Langkawi, Bella Vista is our first choice!

AWESOME, FUN, ENJOYABLE”

Overall stay is good! Staff is friendly and food is on borderline! Bella Vista Hotel is located near the airport not the beach area. But we like the quietness at this location. Certain room in this hotel can see sunset from the balcony!! We are so amazed. We took taxi to Cenang Beach about RM20. It is quite expensive to take local taxi.We recommend to rent a bike/car to go around Langkawi as it is easy to navigate the place by the free map given to us. We paid RM70++ for the motorbike+helmet+insurance till the third day 12NOON. Got to go again!!

Great quiet hotel 5 minutes to Pantai Cenang”

We finally arrived at Bella Vista Hotel Pdg Matsirat around 2pm and glad that we're immediately given our room keys. The hotel was clean and quiet situated in front of pantai kok, neighboring with Rebak Island Resort and Sheraton, exclusive hotels. There were local restaurant nearby the hotel, however, you will need transport to travel to other facilities, namely pantai cenang beaches which is 5 minutes away. The room and the surround was nicely decorated and clean. There's a nice swimming pool as well. The staff is polite however not so customer oriented. For example, I ask for extra glasses, but was not allowed on the reason they don't have enough since having function that night.

Good Basic Hotel with good breakfast”

We stayed at Bella Vista for 2 nights when we arrived in Langkawi so we could get our bearings. This was a great move as we ended up hiring a car on the second day and drove around the island. The hotel has had a complete makeover and they are still working on it. Excellent value for money and having breakfast included was a bonus. Friendly staff and no problem to get a taxi into town for dinner. Food choice amazing so many restaurants.

Lovely hotel with pretty deco”

Bella vista Is a few mins away frm langkawi international airport...and we get to share the same refreshing breeze frm pantai cenang.. The english deco welcomes us and i shall say it offers such cozy ambiance and pretty dining lounge. The room we had was the best,for we can peek the perfect view of the beach.by standing at the balcony,i can watch my daughter happily having her splish splash time. Breakfast was good,with a few choices of food.they served nasi lemak,cereal,beverages and fruits.. Good enough to stuff your tummy. At night,we had our dinner outside since its just a few miles away from pantai cenang where u can just opt any kind of restaurents tat u favours.u just name it,they have it all..or if u hate waiting,fast food is ready to satisfy your tastebuds.

Simple place worth the amount of money spent”

Staff were friendly despite the fact that the place was crowded during the weekend my wife and I stayed - public holiday in Malaysia. We were grateful in choosing this place as it gave a better return of money as compared to our previous stay at the other Bella Vista hotel in Kuah, Langkawi. Our biggest concern was security - the room door was not able to lock automatically. This was highlighted to the staff but nil action was taken

Lovely Hotel,But Air Conditoner blow hot air”

it is a very nice to stay not only for business trip,but it is also a good place to have a trip with familiy. the facility of the hotel is nice and the enviorment is also good. just that,the air conditioner of the room that i stayed at that night was blowing hot air the location of the hotel is good as it is not that far from the kuah town.the surronding of the hotel will have the good food restoran and the night live band surrounded.so you do not need to travel so far apart to reached the place that you are desired to go. and you can as well go to buy the duty free item just not far away at the kuah town. and you may arrive the pasar malam at the kuah town to feel the culture of the local langkawi people

A good Hotel with good facilities”

I found staying in Bella Vista Hotel quite pleasant. Hotels rooms are quite big with good amenities. The staff of the hotels are well behaved and accommodation. One can enjoy various trip eg island hoping, cable car trip, under sea swimming just on the arrangement of the hotel. They also arrange good type of breakfast.

Comfortable and Lovely service”

Friendly staff, allow us to check in early and help us arrange rooms that we requested. Fast check in and check out. This hotel is very near to the airport and some restaurants nearby but not that cheap and yummy compare to restaurants in Kuah city and Cenang beach. The hotel located just opposite the sea side, but sadly to say the beach opposite is not that suitable for playing (as told by the hotel staff). Breakfast is yummy with some choices. The room is simple, tidy and comfortable, no mineral water in the room and we got kettle upon requests. Swimming is not that big but clean. There are some toilets or bathroom beside the swimming pool, which make it very convenience for us to change clothes, etc. Overall, will recommend this hotel as the price is good and hotel is nice to stay.

Good Hotel, Friendly Staff, but no WiFi in rooms”

Hotel has good clean fresh rooms & bathrooms, however, no WiFi in rooms, and was available only in Main Lobby. Hotel was very near to airport so take a car on rent and MAP from airport if u plan to stay even one day in langkawi. Rooms are very expensive if not booked from Agoda. Main areas like Cenang and Jetty are a bit far, and hotel is like in the middle of Langkawi. Hotel also had a nice clean swimming pool.

we only stayed one night in bella vista, it's far from downtown and beach, it's very near airport, it takes around 5 minutes from airport. the room is clean, big, the bed is large, breakfast is delicious, but there is a problem of the bathroom. they should have a glass or door to avoid water splashing out.

very new hotel”

The hotel is very new and therefore it is very clean and modern. everything is shining there, although you should catch a taxi to go to any sightseeing location in langkawi but the taxi is very cheap. service was perfect, the shower was awesome however the water wasn't hot enough. the only negative point about this hotel was noisy guest!

Even my stay was not very long, but in very short time i really enjoyed my stay in Bella Vista Hotel, the price was good with such big room. the room was very clean. Overall in enjoyed my stay.

the hotel had clean, spacial rooms. it looked like it was built very recently. The staff was very kind to help us contacting the tour agents which we had problems.. The hotel had good breakfast as well.. I will definitely stay here again when i go to Langkawi again.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. But be careful, as there are two hotels with the name of Bella Vista and they are located far from each other. Definitely need a car if you stay at this hotel.
