Staff just the best”

We were in doubt about other ones in Satun, cheaper ones, and ended up staying here because it was closer to the harbour. No regrets the staff did all they could to help us, taxing us from the hotel to restaurants free of charge, the day next then they put a lot of effort on helping us to print our boat ticket, they called the company saying we would delay a bit, and taxi us there again free of charge. It is a simple room, nothing fancy, but all you need, and even more coming from the friendly staff from there. No words to say how much they put into help us on everything we needed. Extra thing, one of the staff took us to a restaurant and helped with our order, cause the local speak just a bit of English, and he explained us the food and everything. Thanks best house resort! Highly recommend”

The guys at Best house saved our butts, we got stranded an hour away in Satun and apparently all the taxis decided to stop running at 5pm. We managed to borrow someone's phone and called the hotel, they sent someone over ASAP and picked us up!! (For cheap). The guy was really nice, then they upgraded the room for us, gave us a free lift to and from some street stalls up the road and then sorted our ferry out, couldn't have asked for more. It's also a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal, and that's what we really needed. Perfect place for crashing a night before or after a ferry, and fantastic value for money. Thanks guys!

Nice guest house with a 5 minute walk to Pakbara pier. Nice restaurants on the beach about 15 mins walk. Large room with all that you need. Would recommend for sure .

Clean villa near pier ”

Nice little villa in Satun, walking distance to the pier to get the boat to Koh Lipe. We stayed 1 night then got a boat in the morning. Good value $25AUD Including breakfast.. Can’t go wrong!

Wonderful stay”

The owners of this little hotel are what make this place very special. They went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable. They picked me up at the airport, provided the best service and help. Booked my ferry ticket and really helped me with getting all of my luggage from the airport, storing it overnight in their office and getting it on the ferry (60KG!). Very kind people. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. And only 2 min walking to the pier & 711. I will stay here again on all of my trips to and from Ko Lipe.

Very near to Pak Bara Pier”

The location is very good if you do not wish to rush from Hatyai city and to take the ferry to Koh Lipe. We stayed over for 1 night for a rest as we arrived in Hatyai international Airport in the late evening around 8pm and travelled about 2hours via car to Pak Bara to catch the next day's speedboat at 11am to Koh Lipe. The room we (3 pax) stayed is good for 4 pax. Do not expect too much but Best House has the basics and the toilet/shower is within the room.

We only stayed one night as we only needed a bed and shower before catching a ferry to Lipe the next morning. While nothing fancy, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We chose this place because of price, air conditioning, and location close to the pier. (very short walk) No complaints, we got what we paid for. Bottom line is I would stay there again.

Remember, this is not a five star resort! For what it is though, it's perfect. Clean, welcoming, cute and close to the pier. Really friendly staff. Good for a quick stay!

Great hotel for getting to/from Ko Lipe”

I stay here every time I go to Ko Lipe. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is a 3 min walk to the ferry Pier. 711 is 2 mins walk away. The best option for staying in Pak Barra.

Ideal overnight budget stop”

We stayed here on the way to koh Lipe. Amazing value! Rooms are only ok, but come with air on and a hot shower, so at the price it's great value. Very helpful staff, got a free ride to the pier in the morning after our breakfast ( coffee and toast). Definitely recommend!

One night stay before Koh lipe”

It was just a night stay before we travel to Koh lipe the next morning, and it's only 5mins away the jetty. Price is very reasonable, staff are very helpful and friendly, there're also a few good seafood restaurants nearby. Only issue is a lot of mosquitos. Not a big deal though.

Excellent service and near to Pakbara pier”

The room is spacious and clean. The staff, Mr. Pan is able to communicate in English. He is very responsive and friendly. We parked our cars in the hotel compound. When we returned from Koh Lipe 2 days later, we requested for shower and Mr Pan quickly open Room No. 3 for us and prepare a lot of cold water without any charges. This is The place you should stay if you transit to Koh Lipe

Very nice place, extrem friendly and helpful staff”

We stayed here for one night to take a boat to Ko Lipe next morning. Due to flight delay we checked in late at 20:00. Got a free room upgrade. The young man at the reception helped us with buying the boat ticket, drove us to a nice seafood restaurant, fetched us there after eating, drove us to an ATM and then home. Next morning the service was perfect as well with a lot of recommendations and a lift to the pier which is only 300m away. Breakfast at a nice terrace with view over the pond was ok for the money. Amazing good value for the money.

200m from the ferry pier”

Friendly staff who were ready to accommodate and welcome us. Room was pretty decent clean. The small lake in front of a few rooms have quite a smell but its fine if you have the aircond on in your room. Location is perfect and there is a night market nearby as well.

Value to Money budget hotel strategy location”

Hotel locate only 200m to Pak Bara Pier, very friendly and helpful staff. Can speak well English and provide informatic travel package. And provide simple breakfast. Really value to money a hotel

Good location friendly staff”

Room is basic but location is perfect for taking ferry to Koh Lipe. All the staff were very helpful during my entire stay. They even take me to the Jetty with their tuk tuk. Will stay again.
