Pai My Guest Resort (SHA Extra Plus)
Pai City Center,Pai - View on map
"Stayed 3 nights here in January 2017. Really nice rooms which are all private bungalows. Room was very clean, had a huge private bathroom and a little porch in front to hang out and have a beer or two. Hotel grounds were quite beautiful and well maintained. A very peaceful spot just outside the city center. Our only slight issue was that the hot water was rather temperamental. Normally not an issue in Thailand, but Pai can get a bit chilly in the evenings and mornings. One thing to note, this hotel is NOT really in the city center. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from town. So if you are coming from the bus station with a bit of luggage, you may want to get a cab there the first time. After that you can rent rent scooters (at the hotel) and easily get to wherever you want to go. Great place, beautiful location, and pretty inexpensive for what you get."

Canary Guesthouse
Pai Riverside,Pai - View on map
"Right by the river across from the beginning of the night market this guesthouse is the perfect blend of accessibility and relaxation. Drinking coffee in the morning with the best muesli and fruit we have had (in Thailand or anywhere really) to the sounds of the river was the perfect start to a morning. The woman at the front desk was one of the kindest people with an adorable family that you see playing together in the evenings. She was so extremely helpful in booking our tours and extending our stay (which we did twice!) The shower and toilet are in an outside attachment to the bedroom with a bucket to flush the toilet. We did not mind this at all but imagine some people might. For the price the location was so great, right on the river but only a 5 minute walk to the start the amazing night market in Pai. Would definitely recommend and would look forward to staying again. "

Soi One Boutique Bedrooms

"We had the most expensive room, but it was worth it. Beautiful design and spacious. The owner is a foreigner who also speaks pretty good Thai. The location is great and the breakfast was great. BUT there is a breakfast included that is pretty disappointing after looking at the menu. My suggestion to the owner is: let people choose whether they want the set breakfast or that they want 80 baht (for example) discount on an item from the menu. We came back for a payed lunch that is how I found out the restaurant was this good! We couldnt choose a hotel and stayed in three hotels that were pre-booked but this hotel was the best (all same price class)."

Pai Iyara Resort
Thung Yao,Pai - View on map
"The hotel is located 3Km from Pai center which result in a very quiet atmosphere and lovely mountain views from the rooms and the pool. The stuff was very welcoming and helped us with all our needs. The food was really good and well priced. The hotel has scooters for rent at a very cheap price, so you can go everywhere in town or nature around it anytime you want. That's was we did and it made our week in Pai simply amazing. Surely come back on our next time at Pai :)"

The Heart of Pai
Pai City Center,Pai - View on map
"It's worth for the price (about 500 baht) The room is clean and very big. The service of the staffs is ok. This hotel is next to the main road. So, you can travel to anywhere in a few minute. But if you want to stay with and ask for the nature, I wouldn't recommend because it has an air conditioner and it's close to the road. Inside the room, it has a traveller kit such as shampoo and bath gel. It doesn't have a dyer and breakfast. * to suggest : if you're from Chiangmai (Arcade bus station), you should get off the car at Pai station (your last station) (not at 'the Heart of Pai' hotel). I recommend you to rent the motorbike when you get off the car at the station. You can walk around to find the better price. You can find the price of 100 baht. It's not far from the station. Around the station, it has the price of 100-150 baht. But if you rent with your hotel, it's 200-250 baht. I'd recommend you to stay at Pai for only 2 days 1 night. It's such a beautiful place but not have much place to explore."

Pripta Boutique Resort
Pai Riverside,Pai - View on map
"The best hotel in Pai I am sure. You have all the luxury and comfort of 4 stars and live in natural surroundings - river, forest, hot springs in your shower and tub, fresh mountain air. Breakfast (American or Thai) is served to your bungalow any time during a day which is okay for you. Free transfer to airport or other location in Pai on the check out. Hotel is situated 5 km away from Pai which is an advantage for me - you live true relaxed village life with easy access to town. We rented a motorbike, went to the mountains and waterfalls around. Very friendly staff."

Changpai Hill
Mae Hi,Pai - View on map
"Changpai Hill was a great place for us to stay. We loved it so much, we ended up extending two more nights than originally planned. Although outside of the actual town of Pai, the location is still great. You get to be away from the loud backpackers roaming the streets but can also walk into town if you want to join them. This place is up on a hill, and if you stay in the room with a terrace and have a motorbike, be prepared for some daunting uphill and downhill drives. Breakfast provided on a terrace overlooking the hills of Pai is hard to beat, and was easily one of our best stays in all of our hotel experiences throughout Thailand and the rest of SE Asia."

Kirina Wellness In The Valley
Pai City Center,Pai - View on map
"All was amazing, rooms are unique big and clean with AC. Our room had a private back terrace where you could hear all the noise of the nature during the night. One of the best staff hotels that I ever deal with (I traveled a lot in my life). They are willing to help always and they have a line chat where they reply immediately for any request. We used it to book our bus tickets to chiang mai and to ask info in regards of sites to visit in Pai. 5 full stars, for me can go easily with 10 stars!"
