Especially for the promo price this resort is really recommendable, especially for divers and snorklers. The staff is super friendly and accomodating! The bungalow was very clean (despite the ant problem 😁) and the bathroom great! Alao the pool is very well maintained and has cool, clear water! The prices in the restaurant could be a bit more moderate, but the quality is good. WiFi is not the fastest but at least it works 😅 For sand beach and stores you need to drive some minutes. Foreigners should know that the walls of the bungalows are partially made from nipa/bamboo, so no noise insulation, you can hear even the fan of your neighbor during night time. And his TV. And everything else 😅 So you may bring earplugs, if you have a sensitive sleep. All in all we enjoyed our vacation in Blue Star Dive Resort and plan already our next stay 👍😊🌺

Beautiful Relaxing Resort”
Blue Star was a great resort to stay at. I didn't realize I had signed us up for a non-AC room but they upgraded us for a cost. I spent my mornings sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean and was thankful that we booked the ocean view room. You're so close that if the seas are rough you can hear the waves crashing into the sea wall which was peaceful. The staff was very, very kind and helpful and would go out of their way to personally help us. My only issue with the resort was the internet. It wasn't possible to have internet in the room which meant we couldn't stream a show before bed which is our normal routine. The internet was available in the restaurant area but even then it was very slow and spotty. The resort also isn't diving right now which I wish was advertised.

Great, quiet resort and nice diving ”
We stayed for seven nights at Blue Star and had an amazing time. The resort is a little out of ways, you need to be aware there is not much around. Simply walking to the nearest restaurants is not possible. However, the hotel organizes a tricycle for you. The small but well managed dive shop within the resort offers very nice diving at quiet and beautiful spots. Richard is a great guide - thanks for some beautiful and relaxed dives! The whole resort is well maintained and staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a variety of international as well as some local food. Don't expect anything fancy, but we had good food and drinks throughout our whole stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a great view of the ocean. Overall, we loved our stay here and can definetely recommend the resort as well as the dive shop!

Serene and quiet ”
The place is best for those who like to be far from the busy life of the city. The place is so quiet and peaceful ,with nature and ocean is in close contact with you. Literally you will see the sea turtles playing in the sea in front of you. The staff are so attentive of your personal needs. Kenneth and Sayong services were more than superb. The food was good also and so homey.

Excellent, stop here, you won't regret”
Nice place, quite simple with a staffs (hotel and diving) simply amazing. Don't pass your way, just stop and enjoy few days. Nice menu with good food for all taste. A tip, stay also the Wednesday night where you will enjoy Pizza party with a live band. Local friends also come making the place unique.

Fantastic stay in a very friendly diving resort ”
We did stay here for 4 nights and we love the staff! They are so friendly and welcoming... Amazing! We came with our 5 months old son and we enjoyed the stay so much that we didn’t want to leave. The diving spots out there are really nice and The diving is very private and not a mass service.

Since we decided to spend a few days in Boracay after Bohol, so we chose Blue Star Dive in Anda instead of Alona beach, a bit far away from the noisy crowd, but just what we expected for a quiet and relaxing vacation. I'm travelling with an elderly and a child, and the resort offers everything we needed for the 3 of us -- a fantastic view to enjoy especially in early morning for my mother, a lovely pool and a jacuzzi for my daughter, and all day diving fun for adults. We also booked road trips to the Chocolate Hill, Loboc River and Lamanoc Island through the resort, and the services were simply surperb!

Wonderful stay at Blue Star”
We had a wonderful stay here at blue star. Staff is super kind, always trying to help. Thank you to the reception and diner team, you made our stay perfect. Included breakfasts were copious and very good, they adapted to what you wanted even though not really on the menu... food was generally good and not expensive. Thank you also to the crew and divemaster Jam for the great diving. The reef and wall dives are beautiful, lots of turtle at the home reef, which can be seen whilst snorkelling too. I can't recommend this place enough, and Anda if a great part of Bohol if you want to flee the tourists of Alona.

I couldn't recommend a place more.”
I have never written a review before but felt compelled to do so this time as the place was SO exceptional. The resort is beautiful, the views stunning (especially from the cottage rooms) and Diggi and his team could not have been more friendly or helpful. We were there for ten days in August (the supposed rainy season) and had sunshine everyday with the odd spectacular storm, mainly in the evenings. The resort is right next to a stunning coral reef and all the instructors have such enthusiasm and (importantly) patience, along with expertise of the area, and know exactly where to go and when. They cater for all experiences, we were beginners and saw some amazing underwater sights, but there were others staying who had been diving all their lives and where still blown away but what they saw each day. The hotel serves delicious food and the layout allows you to be as sociable or private as you wish. We were invited along on trips - from island visits, to joining Diggi and his family for a meal at another resort - however there was never any pressure to accept, and so we had the perfect combination of quiet evenings by ourselves - lounging about on our balcony, by the pool or hot tub - or joining others for a drink or supper. Janice could not have been more helpful and friendly. She helped us with all our public transport - explaining which buses to get where - when going to the Chocolate Hills. She also went out of her way to help us hire 2 scooters and then patiently taught us how to change gears etc when we realised that the bikes were more complicated than we were used to! Hiring bikes worked very well for us as we got to explore around Anda, where everyone was friendly and around every corner there was something beautiful to see. I feel as though I am just scratching the surface with this review, as I honestly could not recommend a place more. Lovely staff, brilliant diving, friendly locals and far less touristy than most other places.

Awesome Stay”
No regrets! The very first info I checked prior to booking our stay was the wifi, since my husband and I were on working holiday mode. It was fast and stable! We aren't divers, but we're always up for good reviews, thus, we booked them! Their food was awesome - big serving and delicious! It was a sweet surprise after knowing that we can also visit their sister company, Anda White Beach Resort, all for FREE (except for the transpo going there)!!! Free use of their swimming pool and you can relax at the beach with its breathtaking view. Not to mention their swimming pools (both in Blue Star and Anda White) are well-maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. Their employees are courteous; always smiling - always ready to assist. We had an awesome stay! I highly recommend this resort and we'll definitely come back! :)

the hotel is about 1.5h away from the bohol airport, in the quiet area of anda. facility wise: jacuzi, swimming pool, pool table. lobby and eating area taking great advantage of the fantastic view. rooms were clean, well maintained. no aircon in the room though. staff was polite, well informed, attentive and discreet. hotel food, if priced above local standards (at about us$ 10-15/meal) was excellent. reason to go (and come back): one of the most astonishing views in bohol. on the edge of a small cliff over the beautiful sea. for divers and snorkelers: hotels is very well equipped. equipment rental is painless and cost effective. the house reef itself is a sort swim away. caves, corals; tons of nudibranches, star fishes and other frogfishes/lion fishes await you. also excellent for snorkeling as the house reef is 50m away from the hotel. on the low side: enjoying the local filipino food was a little difficult as the local villages have very little choice in terms of eateries. that would be the only small negative point. i would also not recommend the place for party goers. this is a great quiet area, lost in the bohol nature & local villages. wonderful, wonderful place. the perfect quiet retreat.i will definitely be back. p-a

Diving trip”
Blue Star Dive Resort is an amazing place to stay, the staff are friendly and always smiling while being super attentive to anything you may need. The food is amazing and pizza night was super good and really tasty!!! My personal favourite was the mango shake, of which i was having about 3 a day!! The diving is also completed in a very professional, fun and friendly way with many great locations just off shore ready for you to explore. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return here if im in this location again!!
