Location, traditional charm, very nice houses - built in old fashioned style - which forms an entire street themselves. You feel like you're in an old Hungarian village.

Wifi doesn't really work in the houses (it's part of the old-fashioned charm?), bathroom facilities and some benches should be repaired/upgraded.

Great localization, close to an excellent and calm beach, perfect for kids. Very calm and relaxing area. Very helpful host, welcoming with lemonade and cake!

The houses are done up very tastefully and have everything you need for a short stay. They have amazing playground and play corner inside for children with a lot of toys. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentative.

A small freezer compartment in the fridge would have been useful and a kettle and a toaster. There is a stovetop to boil water for tea and coffee so we managed fine and it didn't take value off of our stay but just to offer some improvement. There were only 3 chairs for the table, another 2 or 3 would have been good as well.

Very friendly staff and atmosphefe. Good facilities, we were 2 adults and 2 kids (age 3,5 & 5) and the inside playroom and outside playground were very good. Also they were kind to set up the table tennis table for my older son, when we asked about it (it was at that time folded up and rolled away due to events during the days before our arrival). Staff was very attentive and kind, the owners are very invested in this place. The breakfast was nice, typical Hungarian which we enjoyed. We will for sure come back again and again!

We have talked quite a lot with the kind owners, so I mentioned that a bathmat would be nice, apparently they become extremely dirty too fast after the tourists who storm the Balaton lake. I forgot to mention to them that I personally find a microwave oven more handy than the oldschool 2 output gas fire place in the kitchenette, but only because we had some leftovers from our days before that we had to warm. But again this is a personal preference. The location being on the other side of the railway from the lake, this is a compromise one has to make. You will not find a place like this on the side closer to the lake, so one has to live with that there is no pavement and you have to go through a heavy traffic parking lot to get to the place where you can cross the railway. Minor downside what the property and it’s owners cannot do anything about.

We loved the original village style look of the buildings. The staff was helpful.

Bathroom and kitchenette needs a rebuild. The circus show nearby was very loud ‘till late in the evening, destroyed the moments for relaxation.

The ethnological style of the village is nice and offers a different experience.

The kitchen is not a real kitchen, as it is very badly equipped. So do not expect to prepare anything but a tea, coffee or maybe pasta there. But there is a fridge and some plates and cutlery.

Everything was great! Great staff and good facilities.

The atmosphere of the place is pleasant.
