Friendly, Efficient, Centrally Located Hotel”
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Boutique Zara Hotel and we wished we had booked more time there! The location right off of Vaci Utca (a major shopping, dinning and sight seeing area) was great and the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were super friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the front desk staff gave us an information packet which included sight seeing info, maps and discounts for the Baths (a must do, especially in the winter). There was even a buy one get one free voucher for mulled wine at the Christmas market. The rooms were a bit small, but clean and the decor was nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues who visit Budapest.

The Perfect Choice we will recommend in Budapest.”
This hotel is perfect for tourists especially who is the first time in Budapest. You can easily find a Tram stop just a few steps away from the hotel. At the Tram stop, left side is Vaci Street and the right side is Central Market. We were the first time in Budapest but this hotel gave us a very wonderful time. We will absolutely recommend this place to all. It was so convenient and comfortable that we could be back to our room for refreshment a few minutes every time when we're tired. Furthermore, the staff were very friendly and nice. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a connecting flight but they offered us the lovely packages of breakfast for the way to the airport.

A Budapest pearl”
When I was about to check in I was told there was an error in my reservation - the days was offset by one day and they had expected my arrival the day before! However, without any argument the receptionist kindly offered to correct the booking free of charge, even though the fault was not at the hotel. I was amazed they didn't use the situation to cash in a few extra $$ but I guess it shows their dedication in making the stay as pleasant and free of troubles for the traveler as possible. A big star in their book for that! As for the rest of the stay, it was worth every cent. The location is about perfect for Budapest, close to the river, the main shopping street, and right next to the metro and trams. The rooms was very well cleaned and even though small (they warn about this on their page) the space is well used so they don't feel that small. And the breakfast was very well for being free of charge. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! (Business travelers beware, there is a computer at the lobby and a free wi-fi hotspot, but the wi-fi does not work from the rooms.)

Fantastic Hotel”
I pick Hotel Zara first by the name Zara. Sounds like my favorite brand for clothes. But once you arrived Budapest Center you'll find out how convenient it is from Zara to the other places. You can take trolly bus just by walking out to the main street. It should take you < 1 mins walk from hotel. And Metro station is only 3 mins away. The staff are very nice and welcome for any questions.

Probably the best choice in the heart of the city”
We paid so little money for a so-good hotel this time. We plan to go back to Budapest in the near future and will definitely stay at Boutique Zara hotel. No need to look elsewhere.

Zara”
Had a fantastic break in Budapest. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is just off Vaci Utca, the main pedestrian tourist street. Lots of things to do and see with a range of choices for food. The food at theZara was a good option.

3 days in Budapest”
We had a phenominal weekend in Budapest. We discoverd a lot of new restaurants and shops and the location was really convenient to get almost everywhere by walking. Will keep this in mind for next time we are there. The breakfast was rich and had a good quality, too. Would have been great to have fresh food like bananas or apples for take-a-way.

Excellent”
Location of this hotel is very good considering it is right along the shopping street Vaci Utca. However, this hotel cannot be called anything beyond a 3 star hotel. If it was advertised as such I would have curbed my expectations. The photos of the room were a bit deceiving. They are much much smaller than you realize. The wifi is rather slow as well depending where you are located in the hotel. I kept having to go into the hallway in order to use it. The room was still kept pretty clean and the staff was very helpful though. I can't say I hated this hotel but I wasn't impressed with it either. Solid three stars in my book.

Excellent base for a wonderful week in Budapest”
Loved this hotel. The room was small - as one would expect in this city - but it was comfortable, clean, and functional. The location is absolutely perfect. The staff speak English fluently and are very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find it very quiet in my room at night. Very generous breakfast with good variety. I stayed a full week and was very comfortable.

Good hotel with convenient position”
the hotel was conveniently located to the metro system - just a 5 minute walk to the nearest station. our room (406) was small but comfortable and looked out onto the inner well of the hotel. bedding was clean but sheets and duvets were a little meagre in size. the heating system didn't operate on arrival and we asked for this to be fixed. staff did look at it but we still couldn't get it to work. the first night was a little noisey, due to loud neighbours through the wall in the next door building talking heatedly into the night. breakfasts were very good with an excellent selection, but the dining room could get crowded at peak times, with even the overflow area in the bar filling up beyond capacity. staff were always courteous, friendly and helpful. overall a pleasant stay and a good operating base for a 3 day visit.

Lovely hostel conveniently located”
my stay at the Boutique Zara hotel was perfect. The hotel was recently renovated and ideally located in the center of the city. The only weakness of this hotel is perhaps the noise. Actually, the rooms are badly soundproof.

Good location, helpful staff but disappointing housekeeping ”
First time to Budapest n we chose this hotel because of location. It’s near the Danube river n crossing between buda n pest side of city. Very helpful staff who gave us good tips n advice. Breakfast was included n very good selection. The only downside was the poor housekeeping. We noted they do not make our beds properly n likewise cleaning of toilet n bathroom was poor.

Value for money hotel”
Overall, its worth the price. The interior looks very refreshing and chic. Positive points: Good location 3 mins to Metro station (its not right outside the station, to me it is good enough). The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly and helpful, plus very efficient. Hotel Lobby has WIFI (room has cable connection to computer only). Simple breakfast is included. Negative points: the heating seems not warm enough even though it was set to the maximum in a night of -10'C. Shower is too small and doors of the shower could not be closed. Water can easily spill out and wet all over the floor. The room has no WiFi. The worst thing about the room is the window ( I was on the 2nd floor - some rooms.) The window faces to a plain wall that has no view of Budapest and because outside the window is a common balcony of 2 rooms, one has to leave curtain close to have some privacy. As I see from the structure, the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms(some of them) facing the inside are having the same situation. If you book this hotel, better ask for a room with a view of Budapest or you will have a feeling like trapped in a walled rooms with a fake window.

Worth a stay”
We chose this hotel as it was within easy access from the main train terminal. A couple of stops on the underground & a very short walk across a square & we were there. Room was ready early as well & we were always greeted by staff warmly on arrival or departure each day. The lighting in the room was poor but everything was very clean. Luckily we were on the first floor & took the stairs everyday as lifts were slow. Breakfast was lovely & staff very attentive. Many nice restaurants & cafes within easy walking distance. As we choose to walk everywhere we found this hotel just a little far away & would have preferred “one bridge closer” towards the Chain Bridge but this is just our personal opinion, however of course there is plenty of public transport available.

A real boutique hotel in a fantastic location”
This is a really nice hotel in great location. It is a clean, modern hotel. The rooms are exactly as pictured. The staff is really friendly. Breakfast buffet is excellent. A great bonus when we checked in were free passes to the thermal baths. I suggest you ask reception for the large double duvet they provide upon request (rather than the two thin singles). We had a great stay at this hotel. The only thing that would have made it better would be an entertainment channel in English. All the English channels were news and sports. Not a problem if you speak German.

Exceptional”
The hotel is a smaller hotel set in the side street directly back from the main shopping tourist area. A quick walk to supermarket (Aldi's) or to the Great Market Hall. and also near the Freedom bridge. Location excellent. Staff spoke english fluently and our TV wasn't working and it was fixed straight away. Breakfast was provided with sufficient choice. Our room was small which we expected and the beds looked a bid hard but we slept well on them. They also provide room service. Coffee and tea also provided in the room.

Good location, helpful receptionist”
My stay at this hotel is pleasant, the hotel is very close to restaurants and Váci utca ("Váci Street"), 5 mins walk then you can experience the food from Budapest :) 6 to 10 mins walk to metro line 4. Room is clean, hotel staff are helpful. Wifi is good.

Great Hotel in a great spot”
We got off to a slightly rocky start - the AC and TV were on the fritz the first night, but the staff stepped in and got things fixed quickly. The rooms are small, but well-stocked and comfortable - the beds in particular were nice. The staff was great. They helped us find our way around the city and confirmed multiple restaurant reservations. There is a nice bar and small restaurant inside that we only had limited experience with, but they seemed like nice lunch options. The location is top notch - near the river and multiple shopping areas.
