Accidentally booked the wrong room on Agoda (thus by hotel T&C any changes is not applicable nor refund is made available to my option) to my gratitude the hotel manager happily help me to change my room to the ones I preferred. Upon arriving we had a little trouble locating the hotel as the street stated as Kallang Rd, however please note that the hotel is much nearer to Lavender Rd MRT by walking distance. The location is excellent as it is near by many shops. In a nutshell it is a great stay for a quick trip to Singapore.

the best thing i like about v hotel lavender is the reasonable price but you get 5 star accommodation. the rooms we booked: triple room and superior room were both clean and beautiful especially the triple room at the 5th floor which gives a beautiful view of the kallang road and victoria bridge and nearby vicinities. the bathrooms are clean although the shower room affords very limited space. anyway, it is compensated by a strong, warm water.the front desk staff are accommodating and efficient.our family had fun at the hotel's swimming pool at the 4th floor sky terrace garden. it is also an added point that the hotel is just on top of the lavender mrt station.

First time i book a hotel room myself in Singapore. I wanted to find something is not so expensive but really comfortable and decent decoration. I really love staying here. We booked 2 rooms, beside one another and it’s convenient for us. The room is a lil bit small but we managed to perform our solat inside the room. The room fully occupied with amenities and i really enjoy staying there. I recommended this place for people, clean and excellent. I drove to Singapore but we managed to find a parking 100m away from the Hotel. The price of the parking is 60c/30mins, the best park we can actually refund back if we paid more then we parked our car. Excellent parking using singapore parking apps. For me, 5 stars hotel! Reasonable and affordable!

We are a couple from the US that stayed in this hotel. The things that we consider in booking this hotel is its cleanliness and near MRT stations. We were so happy to see that even though the rooms are quite small compared to the hotels in US, they were clean especially the bathroom. The linens and towels were being replaced everyday and you can leave valuables in your room without fear of loosing it. The hotel manager and assistant manager by the name of Jasmund Toh and Gary Puan are very attentive to their guests' needs. Also, their receptionist Farrah and the rest of the staff in their cafeteria are very helpful and accommodating. Me and my fiancée stayed here for a week from April 13-19, 2014 and we liked the simple and yet nutritious breakfast that they served and comes free with the hotel booking. I have lots of friends and relatives from the US and the Philippines who would want to visit Singapore and I would definitely recommend this hotel. This is rated a 3 star hotel but based on my experienced, I would rate it a 5. Big and expensive hotels doesn't necessarily mean that they give the best service. A new hotel like J8 and its accommodating staff will definitely be worth your stay in Singapore... Thanks so much, Ronald & Mitch from Los Angeles

OMG! I LOVE Hotel NuVe Urbane, I really do! Hotel's are expensive in Singapore, and the three star hotels with great locations like NuVe that are "affordable" are often reviewed as "dirty" or some other disqualifying review comment. This hotel is super clean, the staff are all 5 star (kudos to the staff, Elvis and Johnny) the location is awesome. While the rooms are not big--very few are in Singapore-- they are very comfortable. For the money, Hotel NuVe Urbane is the best deal in Singapore. I will be back. Thanks NuVe!

From check-in, to shower and sleep, Hotel Yan has provided me the best hospitality. It is difficult to comment on when everything’s perfect. Besides being clean and comfortable, this property has the best location in town too! Not only that it is of walking distance to the train stations, it is also surrounded by coffee shops selling a few of the infamous local food, and the Tiramisu cafe. The reception staffs were always polite, friendly and really to help. I had booked a 2-nights stay at the property and required a desk and chair to do some work. I never knew that the room that I had previously booked did not have a desk for work. Hotel Yan heard my woes and offered me a free upgrade to a larger room that had a desk the size of a king sized bed’s width in it. Because of that, I was able to finish my work. Needless to say, I’m full of gratitudes for that good-will gesture by Hotel Yan, of course!

The walk to Lavender station was about 10 minutes, so if you don't have luggage it is fine to walk to the station, but if you are checking in or out with luggage it is probably best to catch a taxi. It costs about 4SGD, and taxi drivers are honest. The room was clean, and I would say it had a high standard for a 3 star hotel. Everything was perfect. The hotel was also close to two 24hr hawker food stalls, and in Lavender station there is another one. There is a convenience store nearby, and a supermarket about 5 minutes walk away. My partner and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel, and will probably come back if we ever travel to Singapore again.

If you are going to Singapore (group or individual traveler) then look no further! Rucksack Inn is conveniently located in Kallang and is just a 15 min walk from the famous Mustafa Center where you can shop til you drop! Farrer Park MRT Station is also just around 15-20 min walk from the place so going to where ever you want to go is going to be easy! I booked 9 beds of their 10 bed dorm so we can have a little privacy as I was traveling in a group of 7 folks! And guess what? We had the room all to ourselves! The room was a bit dark as you only have the lamp as your light but their beds are cozy as hell! Makes you want to just sleep in the whole day! One problem though, the door was a little to heavy for my small arms so opening and closing it was a workout! Oh and yeah, their staffs are the best! Very friendly and very accommodating! Need I say more?

Due to recent months very often visits to Singapore and had been stayed in many budget hotels, found this hotel is my best choice. Based the standard living of Singapore, the rate of this hotel is worth for it based on my personal lifestyle after experienced about 12 hotels from backpacker hostel to lowest rate hotels in town. I was satisfied for the clean bed, clean toilet and the size of the room. Thought we can't demand more due to the cost of living in Singapore although we could pay same amount in other Asian country to stay in a much bigger space. I had went thru many review about the bed was "very hard" through many websites, but after experienced myself, thought it was ok for me. I had been stayed in 5 stars hotel many times as well, personally view, we unable to demand more, else you should choose for 5 stars hotel for that.

Hotel Snow Lavender is a BUDGET HOTEL on Cavan Road, Kallang, SG. Location: It is located near both Bendemeer & Lavender Station. Restaurants, hawker centres, cafes, convenience stores, even hardware shops are everywhere. You won't have any problem going to different places just as long as you have the SG pass. Staff: They're very helpful. We requested several things from them and they assisted us very well. The female staff who was in charge in the mornings was the friendliest of them. Cleanliness: It's not the cleanest hotel I've seen but it's okay. I'm not that bothered by the molds under the sink. Just as long as the heater works, it's fine by me. Overall, they have good facilities, friendly staff, and great location. If you have OCD and is very sensitive to sound, pls find another hotel. I'm a picky person yet I enjoyed my stay here. Classic Hotel indeed serves the true meaning of the name of the hotel to its best. Its a very warm and a welcoming place which is located in the heart of Singapore. Its a central point to many shopping malls, metro stations, food outlets,Bugis Street, Orchard Street and 3,4 minute walking distance to the Harrods of Singapore which is non other than Mustafa Shopping Mall. The staff of the Hotel is very nice and helpful. The most commendable fact is that you cannot ask for any neater, cleaner and a comfortable hotel room for the price you pay. Highly recommending to anybody who is looking forward to visit Singapore with family or for a solo travel.

I originally booked and intended to stay for one night, but ended up extending my stay to two nights because of how nice the room was. I stayed in a Premium room with my fiancé and we loved that there was a bathtub in our room. There was a really nice 40 inch samsung smart tv in the room but it was a little bit useless as the channels to choose from were limited. (what was indicated as starworld on the guide was actually discovery channel.) It was a very gold stay nontheless, with automated swinging doors and really nice and convenient decor from the main street level all the way til the top. I am thinking this could be a better rated star hotel if it had a little bit more facilities and hotel reception services for guests. Overall, a definite 4/5 stars. Will be coming back regularly from now on. (: THUMBS UP GUYS.

Surrounding the hotel are several decent hipster cafes that are worth a visit - Chye Seng Huat Hardware - just 1 street away (recommended for coffee, chocolates & some have their breakfast / brunch) Kilo Kallang - nearer to Lavender station AEIOU - 2 streets away from Chye Seng Huat Enchanted, Old Hen Coffee Bar (recommended) - these cafes are about 2 to 3km away. If you don't mind walking, it'll take you only 10-15mins walk or take the train to Farrer Park station. There are quite a local food stores around the hotel. If you don't mind walking, navigate your way to Jalan Besar where you can find a lot of local eateries and the market filled with food stalls. Some are open until late. If you are not that picky, there are restaurants and a food court just a few streets away.

Staff are friendly, they are cleaning the room everyday. Lavander MRT station is just 200m away, supermarket, restaurants, bus station is just street away from the hotel. I should give them a perfect score but there is one thing that I asked and they did not respond to my request, that is when I reported that our sink in the toilet is blocked (not totally) but the water is not going down easily, they took my room number but unfortunately they did not fix it. But overall our stay is great and I will come come back again in this hotel.🥰🥰🥰

Pros 0. I can fit!!! Im 180cm it fits me nicely. 1.The beds are clean 2. multiple light options (cool!!) and 2 port usb 3. toilet are with soap 4. they provide u 2 pillows unlike the picture only 1 5. fresh towels 6.there is a washing machine and dryer free to use from 7pm to 7am - not sure bout the soap 7. next door there is an indian restaurant 24hours. cheap and nice. try the roti canai or mutton soup 8. opposite the Kallang MRT. same lane as the airport. u can clearlybsee it from the kallang station next to the bus parking field. 9. free and fast internet 10. self check in was smooth at midnight. just read the instructions on the door and desk. Cons 1. No tv 2. its not sound proof - but its ok compared to bunk beds 3. the lockers are abit small. 4. take care of your shoes just worried to leave my shoes outside

Highly recommended ... My first night I stay here then my 2nd night I try other hostel just to see OR expirience. I proved that spacepod@lavender.... is miles away difference from the facilities, cleanliness and the best is staff compare to other hostel... I extend my vacation and im here again... 😁 my last night in Singapore... now i know why this hostel have a good rating. Job well done👏👍 5star

When I go to a place, aside from saving money, I look for 3 things at my accommodation: location, air-con, and wifi. For the money, his place did a great job - the staff was attentive to my needs, the internet worked well; the air-con worked well, though I had to ask the staff to turn down the temperature every night; but the location was 10 minutes from the closest metro - for this it got 4 stars, but nothing to complain about. I would book again next time in Singapore.

- For location: Kallang MRT is far enough for around 30min travel from airport. If u go to Chinatown or Orchard, it will take u 45min -1h and must change the line. The hostel is very close to the MRT, and easy to find. There are many food shop on the road from MRT to hostel which cheap price, no messy, no criminal as people talk abt Gayllang although i came back hostel around 11p.m. - For staff: very friendly, enthusiastic, helpful and nice. - For reception and breakfast: a little bit small, but very clean and tidy. - For the room: we chose family-6pax for 6 persons, but some problems of hostel, he give me 8-pax room for my whole family without additional fee. Maybe because of too much beds, so the room is a little bit small but quite clean. - For the shared bathroom: many bathroom and clean as per the picture. => It's very worth for valuable time and money. I also had stay in Mori Hostel, it was a terrible night. There are also some problems of hostel, they certainly separate our family in to 2 mix 6-pax rooms although i ask them a family room before booking. The staff is friendly but the boss is very horrible and gave me ridiculous reason. To sum up, absolutely, Ark Hostel is the best memory in Singapore for us, and i will recommend my friend this hostel

walking distance to kallang bahru bus stop station & also walking distance to bendemer & lavender mrt station. there provide free breakfast, although it just simple breakfast but enough for me . bread ,butter,peanut, stawberry & choclacte jam. cereal & milk, free tea & coffee 24hour ,free cold& hot water . had microwave & freezer. the toilet & shower very clean, they give me to use toilet and also drop luggage after checkout. i would like recommended this hostel for budget traveller. thankyou traveller@sg. may god bless your business. sure to come again at your hostel♥️♥️♥️

I remember i had problems with other hotel they let me call agoda and finally i sorted out my issue and i got refunded my money, they welcomed me well and didn't force me to book or anything they treat their customers as their friends, it wasn't even checking in time but they let me get in take a shower left my belongings and everything the rooms are clean ofcourse with airconditioning and everything so as the toilets, they also have a water dispenser for clean water hell you can even make coffee in the morning with hot water, also the location of the hotel is just 350m away from the (MRT STATION) where you can connect everywhere at places you want to go around, they provide maps also direct you very well and same goes for when you are leaving, I know one thing whenever im going to go to Singapore this is the place to go don't be intimidated by the word (hostel) go for it you will not regret it.

I chose SpacePod because I liked the idea of a capsule hotel and this was the cheaper of the ones in Singapore. From the moment I arrived I liked the vibe of the place, the girl working in reception was so sweet and helpful and the pods look awesome. The bathrooms were freshly tiled, clean, and had hot water. The wifi was pretty reliable, free washing machine and dryer after 7pm, and I got a really good discount to see Gardens by the Bay organised through the hostel. I barely saw anyone else, so probably not the place if you're after the social vibe. The pods are also made from plastic so they creak a bit when you move around and they aren't soundproof. Kallang is pretty accessible, with an MRT station literally across the road, but is still about 20 minutes to where the action is. Overall would definitely stay again!

When I say value for money, I don't mean that it's bad. Quite the opposite. Everything is very clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the younger people working there. There are mixed dorms with bunk beds, clean bed linen, air conditioning. You get a locker, key card which opens up the hostel door and the door of the dorm, and a reading lamp too. There's high speed WiFi. Bathrooms are clean. There's hot water. Breakfast is tea/coffee + bread & spread, which is quite ok for a hostel. There's also a fridge, where you can keep your food, a washing machine and a dryer. Although I didn't use it, I believe ironing facilities are also available. Best thing is probably the location. It's about 100m from the Kallang MRT station and a bus interchange. It s country where the public transport is exceptionally good, being located close to both bus and train helps a lot. Also, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you will have no trouble finding really good (and affordable) food. Coziee Lodge was probably my best hostel experience so far. When I'm traveling to Singapore again, I will definitely be staying here.

Had a great stay at Dream Lodge. A quick, seamless checkin and tour given of the premises. Samuel, the owner was a champion! He really has thought of everything. The premises is safe and secure and you have a wristband to get through doors. The hostel is clean, stylish and homely. The bed and linen were hotel quality. Soap, shampoo and towel provided were useful as I forgot all 3. The breakfast provided was a nice touch and a great way to start the day. Did I mention the netflix available to watch to unwind. I had 2 days in Singapore so Samuel took me through a map of Singapore and outlined the best MRT routes and hotspots to check out. I wouldn't have been able to cover so much ground without his help! They had bikes for $10 a day that was fun to zip around Little India and the Arab quarter on. Some great foodie spots nearby. Again, Samuel can point you in the right direction. I had dinner at various hawker outlets nearby for under S$10. Great satay and wonton noodle soup. Excellent Indian food all around the Mustafa centre only 5min walk away from. The best hostel I have stayed at without a doubt.

Zhongfu Backpacker Inn, close to Kallang Station, 3 minutes walk from Kallang Station, nearby is the famous Geylang. After check-in at the front desk, you can go upstairs. The room is very wide. There are eight or ten people rooms. Air conditioning, drinking water on the first floor, hot water supply, luggage storage at the front desk, sofa for guests to sit, computer can be used, Buddhist books can be seen, washing machine can be used in the second floor bathroom, 6 SGD, WIFI is fast Zhongfumen card deposit 30 new

I stayed at Pacific Hostel at 23 Hamilton Road. It has unique capsule bedrooms with its own door, handphone charger, electric ports, mirror, lights , deposit safe...I had my own mini bedroom for the price of around S$50 only! And it is so well located - near Lavender, Bendemeer and Farrer Park MRT, 24 hour food court, supermarket, shops , eateries, shopping malls nearby! I enjoyed my stay very much!

My son and I always stay at the Arton when going to Singapore, probably our 5th time. Rooms are tiny but with everything u need, window included! Clean with all amenities, a small space for luggage n a few hangers, enough for a few nights. Located less than 10 min walk from Lavender MRT station, 7 min walk to Mustafa, right at the corner a cheap food court and money changer at the hotel above mrt. Friendly staff and possibility to have breakfast across the street at discouted rates. We will definitely be back and we recommend for those seeking some comfort without luxury at a good price!

It was such a blessing to be able to find such good, convenient and simple accommodation at Singapore like Blanc Inn. I was looking for a place for backpacker travelers and find out this hotel. I booked through Agoda and did the pre-booking procedure prior my arrival at Singapore and when I arrived at the hotel...voilaaa...I had been checked-in. Although we have to wait as the room was still occupied, but we were offered to put our stuffs and got ourselves cleaned by using their bathrooms and enjoy the Singapore right away. The location is near the Lavender MRT (with great sightseeing view during the walk), also local restaurants with affordable price and great foods. There was also two convenience stores (Fairprice and Seven Eleven) which made everything perfect. The design of the hotel and room itself will make you feel like home and don't want to leave Singapore forever. Overall: I was pretty satisfied during my stay there. Wish to come back and stay there and definitely will spread out the Blanc Inn to my friends and family.
