Hotels with business facilities in Ao Num Mao Bay

"Everything was beautiful and convenient... I recommend taking the ride to Ao Nang Beach its about a 10-15 min drive and about 300 Baht (approx. 10 bux each way or their free shuttle that runs a few times a day) for night life, restaurants and a downtown area with live music and massages. There is a local restaurant about 2kilometers away (5min ride) the hotel will rave about and it is honest. :) I don't like being in the middle of hustle and bustle so I like that the hotel is tucked away but isn't far. The breakfast that is included has tons of options. I would def recommended eating lunch and dinner outside of the resort for best bang and flavor for your buck. "

"I've lived in Thailand for 4 months now and have traveled all over from Mae Sai to Ko Ngai. Resorts, bungalows, hotels, airbnbs, condos - of all this, Tama is my best find. This hotel is clean and modern. I saw complaints that it's location is bad but it's away from the noise unlike most hotels in Ao Nang. Just rent a motorbike anyway(the front desk will give you keys for 300b per day)! It's the best way to see the area. Staff is nice. Included breakfast is great. Swimming pool is top class. Rooms are clean, modern, comfortable. Everything I need. Highly recommend."

"I wouldn't call it a resort, it's a quiet little hotel about 20mins drive away from Ao Nang (main attraction of Krabi). Frequent shuttle bus service provided by hotel free of charge. Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged a day trip to Phi Phi islands for us which was the highlight of our trip. The restaurant serves Thai food and a few international choices. Very nice and very decently priced. There is a small bar that serves nice cocktails too. Rooms and toilets were very clean, large and comfortable. Note 1: Don't be fooled by the name, there is no actual beach at this hotel, but shuttle bus is provided to Ao Nang. Hotel does have a nice pool. You can get food and drink served to you by the pool. Note 2: Don't pay extra for a "Superior Sea View Room". All the rooms seemed the same to me. Note 3: Last shuttle bus leaves from Ao Nang at 9:30pm. If you miss it you will have to catch a taxi for a few hundred Bhat. Note 4: Hotel offers airport transfer @ 500 Bhat per trip. Call ahead and arrange for convenience."

"We were very pleased with our stay here. We arrived late evening and the staffs were really friendly and helpful with the check in process. The hotel is a relatively new hotel so the condition of the building is really new and well maintained. The hotel swimming pool is really big and clean, we had a splash in the swimming pool. The family rooms are huge along with the bathrooms, everything really exceeded our expectations. Breakfast definitely could be improved, not really a lot of varieties, mostly the same thing everyday. Also, the hotel is about 15 minutes away from Ao Nang and you cannot walk to Ao Nang for sure. You have to take a tuk tuk which is provided for free every hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, after 4 p.m., you have to pay for the tuk tuk and it can get a little costly if you keep going back and forth to Ao Nang. There are a lot of hotels in the Ao Nang strip as well so if you are planning on spending a lot of time in Ao Nang, you should just stay there. Seashell Resort is nearby the Ao Nam Mao pier and away from the busy Ao Nang so it's a great place to relax. Despite the downfalls, I would definitely stay again in Seashell Resort Krabi if I were to visit Krabi again in the future!
