Hotels with business facilities in Baan Grood Beach

"Stayed 2 weeks in one of the beautiful villas, surrounded by lawn and garden- excellent for the children to play in. Room was really beautiful too! Great location by the beach and walking distance to cafes and shops. Really good pool too, which had some space in the shadow too, great to cool down with the kids. Most of the time we were the only people there, so felt like a private pool. Pool was impeccably clean. Staff was friendly but lacking in English, which is common everywhere in Ban Krut, but that did not really pose a problem. Although one on the employees was fluent in English so we mostly communicated with her. For some reason hotel did not answer my e-mails beforehand, maybe because of the language barrier. Customers can freely use bicycles, which is a great activity in the village. Bikes are rusty and old but that even adds the charm :-) All in all, probably the most beautiful and paradise-like resort I have ever been to. "

"The best thing about this property is it's lovely staff. From the reception staff, to the cook, to the groundskeepers, each of them had smiles and warm greetings and went out of their way to be friendly and kind. We arrived at 2am because of outbound traffic in downtown Bangkok---the next morning we were too late for breakfast, as we slept in. The cook offered to open up the kitchen and set everything out just for us so that we could have breakfast. And all done with a smile and genuine kindness. We were traveling with my small dog, so we loved the pet-friendly villa--the outdoor shower and 'garden' type space were great for the pup to be able to just wander outside and be contained. The grounds are beautiful. You will need a car to stay here---which isn't a problem for us, as we live in Thailand and have our own car. The plus side is that this area is very little known to tourists--mostly geared towards Thais, so the beach area (outside of main holidays) is mostly private and clean."

"Due to rebranding, part of hotel is under some renovation i.e. swimming pool, room and unfortunately, we have problem with running water in the morning and it took few hours to resolve around 10 am. Breakfast is simple, not like other D Varee. "

"Stay was good. The rooms are Villas which are 2 bedroom houses. Good for a family with kids. Although the aircon really had problems, and in one room it was not working at all. Restaurant doesn't have many options for food. Breakfast too has low options and limited options. Overall this hotel was good, if you are thinking for having a nice alone time or for couples. "
