Good stay”
The whole place was good and clean. We stayed in bungalow house (the “houses” are kinda connected to each other so basically you can feel all the shaking, etc when the other tenants are moving like crazy). It is far from Rome central. You can take bus 247/246 ( which arrives every 10-15mins) going to the nearest metro (Cornelia or De La Salle). All in all, it was a good stay. :)

What you see on agoda is what you get with this campsite”
It's clean and welll run. Really polite and helpful staff at reception. We had a deluxe chalet. Great value for 3 people who wanted to see Rome. Parked the car up and used the bus/metro into the city. Takes about 1 hour to the colusseum. 20 minutes to the Vatican. Public transport very easy to access from Camping Roma. Ciao Bella has a limited menu but the food is good. We didn't sample breakfast. Nice clean pool.

Great value for the money, but takes time to get to the center ”
The place is nice, but the caravans are on the top of the hill. So you should go up like three levels. The rooms are ok. They have towels, linen, and soap. And air condition. Outside there are benches. If it’s not raining, I guess it’s nice. While we stayed there it rained every day. There is nice restaurant there, the food is ok and not too expensive. The staff is very nice and try to help in any way. On the other side of the road there is a big supermarket. It’s great! There is a bus station with different lines. You can take them to certain point (Cornelia) and take the metro to the center. By the way. From Cornelia there is a private shuttle to the Fiumicino airport every half an hour. The exact location of the station is at the diagonally of McDonald- In front of building number 17. There is a sign with the exact hours of the shuttle. It coasts 6 Euro per person. From the camping to the center by the public transportation it takes an hour.

Poor service ”
In short, the receptionist we dealt with was very rude. Also, our key did not work and the problem was not solved during our stay. We had to resort to asking security to let us into our room when needed. The whole bungalow shook when our neighbours moved. The room was right next to a main road so noisy. The cleaners left dirty laundry lying around, including at the front of our room and on our picnic bench. Not a very good experience to say the least!

Would definitely stay again. Our 3 bed bungalow was small but adequate, bathroom the same with plenty of hot water. Close to a bus stop and supermarket. Nice feel to the site with lots of trees. Pool clean. Considering the cost a great stay and happy to recommend.

First of all: the staff is really friendly and helpfull. Just ask, you will always get help and a smile. Second but not less important: the superior bungalos are really nice. The place is really nice and quiet. The public transfer connection is very good. Worth the money. A big thank you to the staff!

We spent only one short night but it seemed a very nice place for a longer stay. Quiet and green. The bangalow is very practical. There’s a bus stop right in front of it and apparently the airport shuttle bus goes by the camping. We had little contact with the staff (only for check in and out).

Great place, easy access to city center by bus and metro. The bungalow had a weird smell when we arrived, but it was maybe just the cleaningproducts. Overall a great campingsite with lovely staff, great pool and very delicious food at the restaurant.

Very nice place to stay ”
I was very surprise after reading some bad comment about village rome before how great this place was .I spend two weeks there and that's was great time .it's a little bit far from city centre but bus connection it's really good and bus stop it's in front of the camping so its couple bus stop to metro station and it's not very bad.moreover after spend daytime in busy city centre that's was relief come back to camping surrounded by trees .i stay with my son in deluxe house and I was very positive surprise how clean our room was .maybe not very huge but for me and my son was enough . Swimming pool not very deep but very clean and element condition. Higly recommended to anyone and I'm come back to this place for sure .

Great value for money”
Great place to stay. The superior bungalows are fab. Resort is close to the city, has good link to the local buses and trains. Resort provides shuttles and various trips also. Although do check the details of Pompeii trip. Restaurant on the other hand is not that great. Food is basic and was served lasagna that was so badly burnt , it was black. Would have thought that bunch of grown up men who were supposed to be the chefs would have used a common sense and thrown it in the bin. Or should have left the kitchen and leave it to someone who can actually cook. Apart from that , would recommend

Great and convenient stay, looking forward going back”
We had a great experience at the Camping village. We stayed at the chalet which had fridge with freezer, bonus for a very hot summer, all sizes of pots but no small pot to boil water for tea and coffee.Best thing about chalet was air con, after walking all day around Rome in sweltering heat it was nice to come back and cool down. We had a good sleep which was much needed, beds were basic but comfortable, showers were excellent, we had 2, one in each room :) Only down side was not being able to chill on the terrace due to mosquitoes and heat, but not a fault of the camping site. People should purchase Autan, mosquito repellent as soon as they touch down. Supermarket (superstore) was right across the road which was very convenient, it had everything you needed and more at super cheap prices, bakery was amazing. Busses right outside camp but some not running on sunday. Swimming pool was another bonus, we used restaurant on the first night around 11pm, and had great pizza very fast 10min

Someone from the staff has stolen expensive personal belongings ”
During the last night before departure a power bank and beats headphones were stolen. we noticed that in the morning, but the worst thing about that all was staff at the reception desk: they reacted as it was just a normal case, didn’t offer any help and apologies. Recommend the head office to look more attentively after the staff.

Lovely staff, nice setting, however would not re-book!”
The PROS: lovely helpful staff , especially the restaurant and security personnel . Lovely grounds, nice swimming pool. Reasonably priced restaurant . CONS: We booked a Deluxe Bungalow , whilst it was lovely and clean, it is 1 bungalow split divided in 2 with a partition wall...we unfortunately had 3 young men staying beside our bungalow who were so noisy upto late hours of the night , walls are thin we could hear everything, the whole bungalow vibrated at times , it was difficult to sleep !! We never got the opportunity to sit outside our as our neighbours hogged it everyone of the 3 days we stayed! The bus outside the campsite ( no.247) was always late..upto more than an hour late on 3 out of 4 occasions we used it...we wasted a lot of time waiting for buses..our experience ..miserable unhelpful bus drivers on this route . Hope you guys have better luck than we did ....as an alternative the campsite offer shuttling service at a price of 3 euros aller et retour !

Roman Holiday”
Clean, comfortable & good value. The shuttle to Rome drops you off behind Vatican & close to Metro. Ask for the golf cart to take you to your room. The walk is up several steps. The store is across the street, over the tunnel walk. The store has everything! If you have more than 1 adult & 2 small kids you will want to stay in the larger bungalow. The pool & bubble tubs are both cold water (no hot tubs). Lifeguard is on duty during the day. Restaurant on site was good & fair priced. The laundry was tricky as the cards sold out & the machine wouldn’t take euro notes but only exact change in coins. No coins under 10 cents are usually accepted at vending machines.

Good holiday park in Roma!”
Located a bit out of Rome but still easy to access. Rooms are well equipped with AC and clean and comfortable. Was a bit noisy at night as it was peak season but we could easily get some good sleep. Resort has a pool, restaurant and bar which we didn't get a chance to use during our one night stop over! Will stay again. Great value too!

Good location ”
Very good location.. near the bus stops.. just 30mins away from vatican and maybe an hour away from the other tourists spots.. There's supermarket across the road and other restaurants.. They have their own restaurant as well.. Good food and reasonable price maybe cheaper.. clean rooms.. only downside nowhere to hang clothes when in the shower, cold floors and it gets a little bit cold during night.. but we will still stay here if ever we go back to Rome.

Convenient cheap stay for rome sightseeing”
Price
The camping village bungalows where quite new equipped however its a bit narrow inside, but for the price in Europe thats ok. Nothing like a TV or anything in the room and we didn't get a double bed but only twins. The free wifi was a bit of touch and go, on the first day we didnt get it working the two following days it was ok but the signal quite weak. It's quite easy to get to town from the camping village, just buy a daytrip ticket for 4€ at the reception and hop onto the bus 246 then change at the end station into the metro and here you go.
