Blackout -Nightmare to hopeless customers”

Being a regular customer of Cappuccino Hotel at Tebrau for years, I and my husband were very disappointed on Monday night experiences w/the hotel services. It was only around 9pm, we have just finished our dinner & shopping at Tebrau Aeon; as we were approaching the hotel we were astonished to see that the entire building was black out. As my husband was talking w/the hotel staff through a semi-opened door of the hotel over the torchlight. The receptionist just asked whether or not we were walk in guest or under Agoda. If we were under Agoda then we just have to inform the management at Agoda. Additionally, we were being informed that the electricity might only be up half an hour later or even later. The response was unsatisfactory nor professional. It really put us in dilemma, we didn’t receive any solutions or apologies from the hotel. We were in the middle of nowhere, hopelessly we stood there and wished that the nightmare would be over as the soonest. Despite the fact tha

I’d consider myself as as female solo traveler, though i booked 2 rooms, one for my female friend as we arrived not at the same time and stayed in a separate room. Stayed there for 3 nights, came to JB purely for business. My review: Safety and cleanliness are paramount for me, i would say this hotel is safe, there is guard standby at the front of the door. Both bathroom and the room are clean, there is water heater for shower. They have 3 floors in total. Our rooms were located at 3rd floor. No lift. Only staircase. Tips: try to get a room (if possible) that is not located in between 2 rooms to reduce the noise level. For a price we paid less than rm50 per night, i would say for overnight stay, this hotel is a gem. To the hotel: keep up the good service

Clean, comfortable, nice room”

Cappuccino hotel is located on a stretch of road with alot of food places, massage, bar. There is even a place which offers shisha. I recommend this place for a short getaway. Hotel room is really clean and comfortable.

Cozy hotel”

I am very pleased with the hotel services. It is safe and conveniently located near the Tebrau city Mall. You can park the car safley in fron th of the hotel as the security guard is vigilant. Walking to and fro the Mall is safe. There are many eateries along the way.

Good stay for a night”

I n my friend stayed for 1 night to attend wedding the very nextday. Location is stratergy which is near to Aeon Tebrau. Friendly staff. The room is little too small for even two of us to move around. The coffee table is ultimately small. We can't even put our handbags on it. The room has no window and the light bulb is too dim/lack of lighting. We find it very hard to put on makeups under that lighting. Somehow we managed. Good stay for a night and value for money.

This hotel got a little bit bad review but i satisfied enough. Its better than other hotel with same price. Seriously. The only thing i didn't like was the bangla worker didn't answer my question properly. The room was comfortable, i like the bathroom, tv was big, the pillow was soft and they put 4 pillows. They provide,new toothbrush,soap,shampoo,coffee,mineral water,everything was just right. Will stay there next time if i have things to do. No lift is ok for me. Just climb the stairs. No big deal.The price was budget hotel ,only RM67 but the facilities was truly hotel.

A convenient hotel to stay. The room were cleaned and has a quiet spacious toilet in it. Nearby Ikea Tebrau and Aeon Mall. Also nearby 7Eleven which can be reach on foot. Recommended

Stay for a short time Only!”

Wanted to print my e-ticket yet the receptionist couldn't help me, I am quite disappointed because I had to go the neighbor on the right side where I frequently purchase my herbal drink during my stayed and printed it there. The hotel services are not flexible everything bounded by rules. Secondly, the budget room is located on the third floor. The internet connection is not stable, especially if using laptop can be annoying. I have requested to reset but they ignored my request. What I like about this hotel is that: the receptionist and at the same the cleaner of the room can clean the room really well, and fast too. Just their English not that good, but overall they can speak local language too as a substitution. Secondly, the location is near AEON Mall Tebrau and TESCO. A place for shopping and many variety of foods to try. The cinema is great too. To go these places from the Hotel must use Grab or else walking, still consider walking distance just a little bit inconvenience.

Expect the Unexpected Service”

I was very impressed by the Receptionist as I dropped my cotton helmet liner. He not only kept for me but went an extra mile to wash it. It has passed a week and I just tried my luck by making the enquiry by checking. Even thought, most of them don't speak much English , I felt their sincerely and integrity. I believe honesty and patience are what I always look for when dealing with people, which I have found in Cappuccino Tebrau.

Unpleasant experiences”

We stayed for 2 days in last week. Cappuccino is always our selection when we stay in JB. By sharing the experiences do not mean that it facilities are bad but only room for improvement. On Sun early morning, I kept hearing water dripping sound, initially I thought it was raining outside but not until I visited the bathroom. I saw water was continuously dripping from the ceiling next to the light. Instantly, I realized it could be due to the air conditioner as I didn't remember there was water leaking. Hence, I let the toilet door opened & it worked. Since I had another night of stay, I just informed the requested to change room. When I entered next room & turned on the TV, I realized there were shortage of 2 channels . Again, I went back to the receptionist. He mentioned it was a standardize set up for all rooms. Therefore, I requested him to check on my TV screen, it was exactly when I told him, there were shortage of 2 channels . Could not help! Went for Lion King

The hotel is conveniently located near Tebrau City Mall. The staff are friendly and helpful. Security is ecellent and I do not have any problem with the safety of my car.

Bathroom lighting not enough”

Value for money as the cheapest room in tebrau area. However the bathroom is too dark with only one small light. There are cafes just within the same building but less choices than mount austin. Around 3 mins drive to jusco n ikea.

very relaxing. rooms are quite clean. and tidy. with friendly receptionist. and easy access of restaurants and fast food. can easy find places for relax food massages and places for drinks. near to jusco tebrau and Tesco extra located here with walking distant within 5 minutes. they also sales lampe berger at the lobby here.

The enjoyable quiet stay.”

My stay was 1 night only. Room size is good, toilet is clean and also spacious. The hotel surrounding is quiet and peaceful sleep. Very affordable. Good staff. Just lack of 24hr stores but with a car, couple minutes away there is lot happening especially near to Jusco and Tesco. Just walking distance have a café and a Malay food stall which is reasonably priced, but only serve for dinner, supper is closed. Night guard for my visitors car security. Will come again.

The stay was pleasant as the room was clean and of comfortable size. The bed, yoilet and overall room was confortable and clean. The location is very near Aeon and Tesco, will definately stay there again if i'm planning to stay overnight in johor.

The good: We think it was very worth it. Room was clean and we were provided with toiletries, 2 bottles of water, 2 packs of cappuccino (True to the hotel name- so cute!) and towels. There was a kettle but we didn't use it. Air conditioned and has a TV too! Bed was ok. There are shops nearby selling food so you don't need to worry about going hungry. Staff were polite and there is plenty of parking space around. Improvements: The floor was VERY sticky, I think because the staff put too much floor cleaner in the water used to mop the floor. If our feet were damp when we came out of the washroom and we stepped on the room floor , it became very slippery because of the soap from the floor cleaner. Might cause a fall. Soundproofing wasn't very good- we were woken up by noisy guests returning back to the hotel. There was a grey patch on the bedding (mould?) but since the sheets looked washed we didn't think it was a big deal. We will still stay here again though. Overall good stay.
