"The Good: - Price is cheap - Easy self check-in/out - Room is cosy - Large common kitchen and lounge area - Quiet location overlooking the lake The Bad: - Room is really cold, even with the heater cranked to full. Coming from a mucher warmer SA, we felt the quilts weren't thick enough, and ended up filing on some picnic blankets from the car ... - No power sockets near the bed, for charging phones at night. - Bathroom window does not shut completely, leaving a cold draft at night. - Poorly designed shower area, so the bathroom floor floods with every shower. - Wifi only available in the common area - No wifi signal in the room at all. Snowview was a LOT further out from the town centre than I'd expected at the time of booking. In fact, it's right on the other side of Lake Jindabyne ... The narrow rpad out front is too narrow to do a U-turn on, and reversing out in the rain (and early morning darkness), with a fogged up rear windscreen - moderately exciting, not in a good way."
