Definite bang for the buck”
We were pleasantly surprised with this place. We had to leave Tokyo for Kyoto a day early to avoid Typhoon Hagibis. We easily booked a room the day of. We reserved 4 bunk beds thinking we would get our own private room; however, it was a shared space with many bunk beds. It was safe and we had our private corner. We kept our luggage in the lobby and the staff looked over it. Centurion also has an artificial hot spring, we went early in the morning around 3-5am and had the entire bath to ourselves. Showers are only in the spa area located on the 2nd floor. If you don’t mind very basic living and getting out of your comfort zone, then this is the perfect place with the best price. The staff was very nice and the location was perfect. It was within walking distance to both Nishiki Market and Teramachi shopping arcade. This was the perfect location, right in the middle of all the big shopping stores: Louis Vuitton, etc.

This is a perfect place for people who travel light! The cabins have everything to meet electronic needs and is the perfect location for the July festivals (right in the middle of it!). The showers and hot tub area is also super clean and organized.

Very convenient location - walking distance to good food, shopping and tourist destinations. The staff are very helpful and well fluent in english. The spa at the bottom is delightful and perfect after along day walking. Lobby is good place to mix and chat with other travellers.

Very recommend this place. So value for money. If you see the room is avaiable, book now. The most of staff is friendly and good English but I met one man staff. he is quite aggressive but I already inform to hotel.

Great location and hot springs”
It is located near Karasuma station. Nearby you can find shopping malls and Nishiki Market. The hot springs also great for relaxing, but it is a bit small. We stayed during golden week so it was a little bit crowded and the price also got higher. The staff is good but they don't know when I asked them about bus to airport.

Located at Shijo-Dori, which is a perfect place to stay when visiting Kyoto. The staff is very friendly and speaks perfect English. However, the only elevator is usually crowded and takes a long time to wait for it, especially considering the bathhouse is located in the basement floor. Love the Japanese vibe cabin, pretty spacious inside. But gets way too warm for my taste.

Place is very pretty and it's basically a capsule hotel like place. We didnt get the rooms we reserved for some reason but either way we had a good time trying the artificial onsen and all the facilities in the hotel. My only complain is probably the floor stains and the very hard beds. Only because I've been to other hostels with the same style and cheaper that are better mantained. Asides from that everything is pretty simple and chill. Good location (two stations away from kyoto station) good shopping district and not pricy for all you get.

The accommodation was quite a walk from Kyoto train station, but this was ok because the train station seems to be generally quite far away from the main areas of interest in Kyoto. The only negative for me was the hot temperature in the capsule / bed, it was almost unbearable. Everything else was perfect.
