Overall Good 2 nights stay”

Awesome location, staff were excellent and very attentive to our needs. Need to have vehicle in hand to go-around. Overall memorable 2 nights stay @ Chantara valley resort

Opportunity missed”

Remembered I write this as a non-Thai but as the only one in a party of four. And they do agree with me on many point particularly the breakfast. Chantara Valley and the area it is in is very much Thai resort. The cabins were great except 1) no chairs or table 2) nowhere to hang clothes 3) no facility to make tea or coffee or even boil water for pot noddles.. The views down the valley from the balcony are great and I would have loved to have sat out early morning with a coffee watching the sun rise over it. Breakfast is ranked low even for my Thai partners. Cold fried eggs, processed ham in luke warm water, bread that had hardly time to say "good morning" to the toaster.. The only Thai dish available was a rice soup.. Some interesting eating places around (you'll need them as the breakfast is the only food available at the resort) though many closed as we went mid-week, low season. Many of the tourist places were shut also. Very much a BYO facility.

Nice hotel with very good location / view”

The room we stayed is quite big and clean, and it's very quiet due to the limit number of hotel's rooms. It's located at the top of the hill so you can see an awesome view of Wang Nam Kiew. This is a good place for relaxation and you can feel the very fresh air in every minute of your stay. The hotel is easy to get access and is surrounded by a lot of good restaurants and interesting places. We will come back again for sure.

I would say it's super but...”

I love this resort really. The view was fantastic and the staff was nice. What I like most was scenery and design. Especially, the pool. It was fantastic. You can enjoy swimming and scenery in open air. However, the pool in picture might be a fake one or an older version one because now it is not like in the picture. (I noticed that the view is quite what I saw at the very pool, though.) Beware! There was a cat, a nasty cat! At the first sight, I thought it was naive and adorable, but then it bit me. So, be careful about that beast. I felt disappointed with the resort about it. After the bite, I went to see someone at the receptionist asking for medical care (just a first aid) and I did get it. However, I expected a sorry from the woman at the reception. I thought she was the owner. (One of the workers told me.) No sorry has been said. I have been failed. Do not like it about that. That's all. And hopefully, I will not get infection after all.

Nice weather, quiet and peaceful”

Large room with great scenic view of Wang Nam Keaw. Nice for a couple who loves to live a slow and peaceful life.

Beautiful resort”

Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast is good and a lot of varieties. Only water in bathroom was not strong enough. This resort is value for money and not too far from main road. We love here.

Great Location! Nice View and Weather ”

The resort is located on the hill so you will get the nice view for sure. We stayed in Moon room. It had 2 king beds which was comfortable! Spacious bathroom, however, the bathroom was not so clean. The water wasn’t hot, more like lukewarm water. The breakfast we had was all you can eat American breakfast and Thai rica porridge. Overall I will give 5 out of 5 stars

big room”

The location is a bit too far from the town about one hour drive, but i was amaze by the scenenary along the way to reach the resort. The room is very comfort and there have a nice view and nice swimming pool. However, there are no restaurant by walking distance, must have a car to drive out about 5-10min to the nearest restaurant. Overall, it is a very good place to stay specially for couple (you can book honeymoon room) and family with children (with big room & bath room)

Relaxing and peaceful place to stay.”

Better to have your own car to go around. Hotel itself is located a bit away from the main road and the way to the hotel is rough but doesn't bother us. We booked for full moon room for four persons. The room is clean and big enough for all of us. Beds are comfortable and you can see the view from your bed through the big windows. If you seek for a quite weekend away. This is a place I will recommend.

I could have stayed in bed all day, its high-end 4 star amenities. ”

Worth the 400m rough road at the entrance. Don’t be fooled, it is a gorgeous, simple, clean and beautifully relaxing resort with views to die for. One of those few places where I could have stayed in bed looking out at the view all day!

Good location”

The resort is located in the heart of the hill. The location is convenient to access and has a beautiful view surrounded by mountains. The resort provides camping facilities. The room is clean and spacious. The owners offer warm welcome to all guests. Breakfast is just boiled rice in vegrtable soup, fried dough and coffeecoffee. However, we have good time and very relax in the resort.

Incredible location, nice staffs and safety ”

The resort is located in the incredible location. Their breakfast is nice, I love the fresh vegetables/salad there. They will allowed only guest vehicles to get in the residential area which is good. The problems we got was there were ants, and the water pump was broken and they need to stop water and electricity to fixed it about an hour.

Awesome view of Wang Nam Keow”

The hotel is a little bit hard to find at night however, their location is very good. It allows you to relax with an awesome view from every hotel room. Hotel room is pretty big and can stay up to 4 people (Full moon type). Oh! also free breakfast but no swimming pool..

This resort is ok but not cheap.”

This resort has rooms with great views but fails in general maintenance inside the rooms (i.e. badly leaking hand basin). The breakfast was minimal and cold. Not good enough. There were many failures around the place and we will not return. We have stayed in many hotels in the area and there are quite a few much cheaper and much better. You need a car for this resort.

quiet environment, fresh air, away from city”

Overall, we had a comfortable stay in this resort. The resort can do better with more staffing, as there is only one person running the place. We waited for quiet some time for him when we checked in as he went off to run errands. Credit goes to him for being very friendly and eventually, we settled in well. Perhaps also because we were there during the weekdays, there were probably 5 or 6 rooms occupied, out of probably 12 or so villas. We love the view. The rooms are perched on top of the hill, you can see vast expanse of farm land. Because of that, it is also very breezy in the morning. Lots of flowers. The best part of the stay must be the rooms, they are big. We stayed in the honeymoon villa, inclusive of the balcony it is almost 60 square meters.

Impressive”

We liked it. Everythings perfect except the fact that lizards inside the house and scared us a bit. Besides that it was impressive and great price too

Listed in the wrong price zone”

The place was not worth the price. It was far removed from other attractions, so you would want to feel like you're at a resort. But the place was hard to find and you have to drive on dirt roads to find it. We had a poisonous snake in our room. When we called staff to help, they never did come until about 2 hours later. The pool was ok and there was a good view from the deck, but there is tall grass right at the edge of the pool, which blocks the view of the valley. That was very disappointing. The breakfast was ok. The beds and showers were fine. Maybe $50-60 a night would be ok, but $90 a night was way too expensive. Disappointing overall.

Fine but Have to figure out hot water”

I was stayed in Fullmoon 2. Room is nice, clean, big size, comfort bed! I asked the manager to check hot water bcoz the weather on that day was so cold! Then i was check water. It rarely warm but he said, it will more hot. Ok then when i back from dinner outside resort. We cannot shower at all! Water is cold!!!! Then i called manager! He came to fix it. But still not hot! I think this is very important for customer. He did not offer me & my family to change room or anything! You need big improve not only your opinion that you think it's warm water ok for everyone! Especially at the temperature about 18 c•

Nice mountain view... breath healty”
