We had a wonderful time at this resort. The resort is ideally located in the center of the town.”
The resort is composed of 4-5 rooms which are actually more like small wood authentic houses with kitchen and two rooms. A small area is available in front of each one with hamac and sofa to chill out after a long walk trip surrounded by a well maintained green garden.

    Would definitely stay here again!”
The Chiang Mai Summer resort exceeded all of our expectations! They were very generous with the free water bottles and food provided, which got refilled as needed. The staff was extremely kind and hospitable—they cleaned the room every day, and even washed dirty laundry for free! Our only complaint was that, on our way out of Chiang Mai, the ride to the airport that we booked through the staff never showed up. We are not sure what happened (it's possible there was just a miscommunication about when we were leaving), but we ended up calling an Uber—not a huge deal, but still disappointing. Otherwise, we had absolutely no complaints, and would definitely come back if we ever traveled to this part of Thailand again!

    Great, authentic feel”
We loved staying here. It was romantic and felt like an authentic Thai villa experience. Bugs were a little bit of an issue, but that's because the villa is open concept to the outdoors so that's to be expected. Totally worth it though and they give you all the means to handle them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even washed our clothes! Would absolutely stay again.

Great value for the money! ”
This hotel is adorable. We got our own private villa with an outdoor terrace, a kitchenette, bathroom, living area, and bedroom. There was someone there to check us in on our arrival that took us on a tour of the villa and of the property. She even recommended some places to go eat and check out close by. The bedroom suite is air conditioned and the bed was very comfortable. They also do your laundry each day as part of their services, and that was an amazing perk. Also, I love cats and they have quite a few hanging around, which was great as my husband and I were missing our cat at home. ONLY COMPLIANT: I will say that I am a mosquito MAGNET, so the open air quality of the villa was a little bit of a nuisance, BUT my husband had no issues and the hotel provides you with a lot of mosquito combative equipment. Honestly, mosquitos are part of visiting Chiang Mai. This was an amazing place to stay. It was full of personality and we would stay again. Others should as well!

The place is like an oasis in the city with lots of trees and flowers. We felt like we were in a private garden. The place is quite, away from bustling city and the smoke (from transportation) even though it's very close to everything. The care taker was very nice and accommodating. They also have laundry service each day!

    Secret Garden in Chiang Mai!”
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful "secret garden" tucked away in the center of Chiang Mai. Just blocks from the night bazar and weekend markets. Mr. Ju Wei is extremely kind and hospitable. There are four gorgeous Thai style houses with kitchenette and all the amenities, including AC (in the bedroom), hot and cold water, free water, noodles, toiletries, insect repellent and maid and laundry service. Secured by a FOB entry gate. I would absolutely recommend this place to any traveler, young or old, and would stay here again if we return to Chiang Mai.

    Cutest Thai-style hotel ever!”
We loved the traditional Thai stilt house style, the spacious and comfortable rooms, and the quiet old-town location.
We were looking for something with a real Thai cultural flavor, not just another Euro-style hotel, and this was a beautiful place on a quiet street. Walking into the courtyard across a little koi pond into a lush garden, we were welcomed by the friendly and helpful owner and two very sweet cats. We had an entire bungalow to ourselves, with a bedroom, bath, and shady balcony upstairs and a covered patio and a small kitchen downstairs. The beds and pillows were soft and comfy, and the place was clean and neat. The owner helped us find activities for the day, and brought us little treats of fruit and snacks. Relaxing in the hammock on the balcony with a purring kitten in my lap, I watched orange-robed monks hurrying along the alleyway below and smelled the incense from the neighboring shrine. An unforgettable experience; I highly recommend it!

Relaxed villas, Friendly owners, Nice setting
Nice relaxed vibe in indiviual villas. They are close together but this isn't a problem. All done in nice dark wood with comfortable beds and lots of other bits and bobs to make your life easier. Friendly and helpful staff and a nice little garden also are bonuses. Hope you like cats because there is a little family here who are really nice but you may find them invading your space :)

    Lovely stay! ”
Unique, lovely rooms with lots of space and everything you need. Friendly helpful staff. Great location, convenient for walking all over city.
We stayed for 3 nights and loved it! This was the perfect place for a home-away-from-home while we explored chiang mai. The rooms are lovely and unique, each their own house in traditional thai style (bedroom and living area up on stilts with kitchen and sitting area below). Bathroom and bedroom were clean, cozy and decorated very nicely. Kitchen was large, with everything you need to cook or store leftovers. We even had a lovely balcony out front! We enjoyed sipping beers in the shade and watching people pass by. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They reviewed a map with us when we arrived, giving suggestions and explaining how to get around. They assisted in booking excursions (and went out of their way to ride over to places to grab brochures) and answered questions throughout our stay. They even helped us out with some laundry for us for free! They made our stay so comfortable! And the location is perfect! On a quiet alley between two major streets, so you're close to everything but not on a load main road. (A few can drivers did have trouble finding it though so just remember the closest Wat and direct them from there) While it does cost a bit more than a lot of the "backpacker" options around town it's definitely worth the money if you want to stay somewhere a bit nicer. We stayed at another hotel in the same price range our last night (only because summer resort was all booked that night) and it was definitely a much less authentic experience, just a pretty generic hotel. So for this price range I would absolutely recommend Chiang Mai Summer Resort!

A great little oasis in the midst of the old town”
the accomodations were good, the staff was a nice couple, the location was good
We had a nice stay at this property. The villas and the gardens made us feel that we were not in the middle of the city (old town). The place is run by a nice couple from China who were very attentive. It was quiet (for the most part) other than the loud family that stayed in the villa next to ours. The other villa, the people were so quiet we didn't even notice their presence. There is no breakfast included but there is lots of food within walking distance. We like western breakfast and found a great place run/owned by a German not far from the property. I would recommend that the owners have some prepared guidance for breakfast places for the new guests. I would recommend this place if you are looking for the 'real feel' of Thai living - the villas are very Thai in appearance and 'feel'. However, that is if one likes the real feel. I like it, personally, because it gives one a sense of being more than a tourist - you get a real living experience. Very nice, overall. I highly recommend it.

    Great owners very friendly
Get a map and circle your location because its not easy to find. You get a whole house, very spacious. Mosquito problems due to openess of wooden accomodation, which is understandable. Very pretty and romantic. Close to numerous eating places, including a whole street of street stalls. Very clean rooms. Would recommend highly as long as you know how to deal with the mosquitos. Just zap them all before sleeping. Owners were incredibly helpful people. Free wifi.

Amazing wooden lanna buildings, really helpful staff and great location
Chaing Mai Summer Resort was a great base for our few days in Chiang Mai. It has a very small number of rooms, which are all done out beautifully, and are old wooden Lanna buildings, really atmospheric and more like a small apartment than just a hotel room. We were given fresh fruit, and mozzie repellent every day! The staff were very helpful, and helped us to book day trips and travel. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. It's a little bit hard to find though!

    the awesomeness of chiangmai accommodation”
    quiet, beautiful, green, hospitable hosts
it wasn't until i arrived at the villas that i realised how beautiful it really is. i felt like cancelling on all outside activities and just spend my entire stay inside the villa. in fact, i did cancel our last day-tour so that i could spend more time enjoying the serenity of the villa! the hosts were generous, attentive and gracious. the supply of fresh local fruit was an unexpected bonus, as were the friendly house cats. it has all the amenities that you may not even realise you need. there's no breakfast included in the price of the villa but the kitchen is supplied with utensils and complimentary eggs in the fridge and packs of noodles, in case you ever needed to snack. the villa is located in the middle of a small "soi" in between the busy phrapokklao and ratpakinai roads, so there is no busy sounds of traffic and is less dusty than chiangmai generally is. and yet, it is only a short walk away from everything any kind of traveler may want or need to enjoy their stay.
