Booked this last minute on Agoda deal for cheap - $85AUD. Was a short 5 minute walk from train station - you can literally spot its roof from train station window. Great check in, helped with maps, gave us upgrade to a bigger room with massage chair etc (woohoo), clean room, comfortable bed, heaps of amenities if you wished to use them, free coffee downstairs. All in all very surprised and happy with stay! Thanks!

1st of our 13-Hotel Winter (Jan-Feb) 2020 Trip to Japan”
Number 1 : Location (short 10 mins walk, a small winding lane lead directly to JR-Nagano), clean, quite spacious by Tokyo standard, top floor restaurant offers good views and excellent breakfast. Excellent facilities (drinks vending machines, ice machines, laundry, free coffee, and fast free internet) and it is NOT expensive. Foraging for lunch and dinner is no problem, many restaurants and pubs nearby. Overall, excellent value for money.

Lovely stay in Nagano. They have complimentary coffees/hot drink at the front which is great after a cold night out. The rooms were clean and comfortable. and you MUST get their breakfast up on the top floor. The food is amazing (jap and western buffet) and always topped up and fresh. There is also a nice birds eye view of the city. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent Accommodation”
This hotel was fantastic. In a central location, sparkling clean, and always friendly staff. A bonus was the great self-serve amenities including a free hot drink machine in the lobby. This was much appreciated after sight seeing all day in the cold. It is within walking distance to the zenkoji temple and main strip as well as the station with great restaurants around. Will definitely recommend to others.

Nite was a 5-10 minute walk from the station. The staff where fantastic and the room was great. Very spacious clean and tidy. The only down side was I found the bed a little hard apart from that was a great stay.

Queen room”
The beds at most hotels seem to hurt our backs. That was not the case here. Switched out pillows out for tempurpedic and slept amazingly. Added bonus was sitting in the massage chair before bed and before heading out in the morning.

We spent 5 night at Chisun Grand. The hotel is clean, comfortable and he staff is very helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and the breakfast, offered on the 12th floor appealed to all tastes. The view was beautiful. Armed with a Japan Rail Pass, we had many opportunities to explore Nagano and theJapanese Alps thanks to the hotel's proximity to the Nagano train station.

Fantastic”
After travelling Japan for a week staying in hotels my Japanese friend had booked, this was the first hotel I had booked with Agoda. It was fantastic, far better than any of the previous hotels & still cheaper. I’d stay there again if ever I go back to Nagano.

Short 8 min walk from Nagano Station .Easy flat walk past Tokyu Department Store. Rooms much larger than other hotels we have stayed at Nagano Station.Small table,desk and chairs.Rooms quiet and not overheated! Individual air con controls. Staff very attentive and some staff speak English .Bikes are available at foyer of you wish to go sightseeing by bike for a small charge. Free coffee, hot chocolate ,green tea ,buiscuits and other room amenities are available in foyer. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel to come back to when in Nagano”
Hotel Lobby was spacious and clean, with complimentary beverages that warm the cold bodies battered by the strong and heartless wind. The rooms were big, clean and has good temperature control that accommodated our ridiculous need for heat when coming back to room but aircon cooling when we curl up in the beds. Rooms are furnished with all we need, things like iron & board can be obtained from the hotel staff through the small cards on the wall opposite the lifts. If i ever go back to Nagano again, this is the hotel i will come back to, no need to consider anything else.

The Chisun Grand is a good hotel located very close to the nagano station. The room was very big compared to other hotelrooms in Japan. The room was very quiet altought the traintracks were close. We enjoyed our stay very much. The price was fair and the service was appropriate.
